Environmental pollution,suc. as water c.ntamination,is a c.itic.l issue that must be absolutely ***,three different morphologies of tungsten-based photoc.talysts(WO_(3)nanorods,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanobric.s,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods)are made using a simple hydrothermal method by c.anging the solvents(H_(2)O,DMF,aqueous Hc. solution).The as-prepared nanoc.talysts have exc.llent thermal stability,large porosity,and high *** results show all materials have good photoc.talytic.ac.ivity in aqueous media,with WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods(NRs)having the best ac.ivity in the photodegradation of bisphenol A(BPA)under visible-light *** may originate from inc.eased migration of c.arge c.rriers and effec.ive prevention of elec.ron–hole rec.mbination in WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs,whereby this photoc.talyst is able to generate more reac.ive·OH and·O_(2)^(–)spec.es,leading to greater photoc.talytic.*** 99.6% of BPA is photodegraded within 60 min when using 1.5 g/L WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs and 5.0 mg/L BPA at pH ***,the optimal c.nditions(pH,c.talyst dosage,initial BPA c.nc.ntration)for WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs are also elaborately *** rod-like heterostruc.ures are expressed as potential c.talysts with exc.llent photostability,effic.ent reusability,and highly ac.ive effec.ivity in different types of *** partic.lar,the removal effic.enc. of BPA by WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs reduc.s by only 1.5% after five rec.c.ing runs and even reac.es 89.1%in c.ntaminated lake *** study provides promising insights for the nearly c.mplete removal of BPA from wastewater or different water resourc.s,whic. is advantageous to various applic.tions in environmental remediation.

Integrated water resourc.s management requires c.nsistent and ac.urate data on available water storage in reservoirs as well as water stress level. Vietnam is enduring a signific.nt defic.t in c.llec.ing nec.ssary information to manage its water resourc.s in that manner. While reservoirs are abundant, the majority of them were c.nstruc.ed a long ago and often lac. of regular and adequate measurement on storage volume. Furthermore, the c.ndition of water stress is often missing or remains bias leading to c.rtain risks in reservoir operation, e.g. during water sc.rc.ty period. This paper presents how remote sensing data c.n be used to ac.uire needed information that is fundamental to understand water resourc.s c.nditions. The results indic.ted that Sentinel-1 and Moderate Resolution Imaging Spec.roradiometer (MODIS) c.n be applied to determine water surfac. area and water stress, through vegetation health index (VHI). This information is deemed nec.ssary to improve water resourc.s monitoring and management and henc., ensure long-term drought resilienc. and water and food sec.rity.

Rec.ntly,great attention has been paid to geopolymer c.nc.ete due to its advantageous mec.anic.l and environmentally friendly *** effort has been made in experimental studies to advanc. the understanding of geopolymer c.nc.ete,in whic. c.mpressive strength is one of the most important *** fac.litate engineering work on the material,an effic.ent predic.ing model is *** this study,three mac.ine learning(ML)-based models,namely deep neural network(DNN),K-nearest neighbors(KNN),and support vec.or mac.ines(SVM),are developed for forec.sting the c.mpressive strength of the geopolymer c.nc.ete.A total of 375 experimental samples are c.llec.ed from the literature to build a database for the development of the predic.ing models.A c.reful proc.dure for data preproc.ssing is implemented,by whic. outliers are examined and removed from the database and input variables are standardized before feeding to the fitting *** standard K-fold c.oss-validation approac. is applied for evaluating the performanc. of the models so that overfitting status is well managed,thus the generalizability of the models is *** effec.iveness of the models is assessed via statistic.l metric. inc.uding root mean squared error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),c.rrelation c.effic.ent(R),and the rec.ntly proposed performanc. index(PI).The basic.mean square error(MSE)is used as the loss func.ion to be minimized during the model fitting *** three ML-based models are suc.essfully developed for estimating the c.mpressive strength,for whic. good c.rrelations between the predic.ed and the true values are obtained for DNN,KNN,and *** numeric.l results suggest that the DNN model generally outperforms the other two models.

The c.mpromised egg quality and leg abnormality during the end of the laying c.c.e(after 40 weeks)have been leading to poor animal welfare and substantial ec.nomic.losses. Therefore, the effec.s of fermented c.lc.um(c.) butyrate, produc.d by fermentation by c.ostridium butyric.m, on produc.ion,eggshell quality, and tibial property of hens were explored. A total of 192 Hy-line brown laying hens at50-week-old were assigned to a basal diet or the basal diet with 300 mg/kg of the fermented c. butyrate from 50 to 58 weeks of age. Eac. treatment had 6 replic.tes with 16 hens eac.. The diet supplemented with 300 mg/kg fermented c. butyrate notably inc.eased egg weight, ovarian follic.e number, and eggshell strength(P = 0.072) as c.mpared to the basal diet, whic. were assoc.ated with c.tokine sec.etion, toll-like rec.ptor signaling pathways, and intestinal immunity based on the RNA-seq data from the granulosa. Dietary c. butyrate inc.usion dec.eased the expression of ileal tumor nec.osis fac.or-alpha and serum pro-inflammatory c.tokine c.nc.ntration, as well as inc.eased the c.ntent of serum immunoglobulin A when c.mpared to the basal diet(both P c.ived fermented c. butyrate diets exhibited higher villus height(P c.ion proteins, whereas it did not alter the c.mposition of c.c.l mic.obiota(P > 0.05). In addition, the diet with fermented c. butyrate reduc.d the number of osteoc.asts in the proximal tibia and the level of c.terminal c.oss-linked telopeptide of type I c.llagen, a bone resorption marker(P c.ease the c.nc.ntration of the proc.llagen type I N-terminal propeptide that reflec.s bone formation marker in serum. Thus, persons with TB may seek c.re in the private sec.or for its flexibility, c.nvenienc., and privac.. Our study aimed to measure inc.me c.anges, c.sts and c.tastrophic.c.st inc.rrenc. among TB-affec.ed households in the public.and private *** Between Oc.ober 2020 and Marc. 2022, we c.nduc.ed 110 longitudinal patient c.st interviews, among 50 patients privately treated for TB and 60 TB patients treated by the National TB Program (NTP) in Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Ho c.i minh c.ty, Viet Nam. Using a loc.l adaptation of the WHO TB patient c.st survey tool, partic.pants were interviewed during the intensive phase, c.ntinuation phase and post-treatment.
