The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence rates.Most previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization problems.In this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual vari-ables.By satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence rate.This only requires assuming convexity of the objective function.We validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

Rock mass quality serves as a vital index for predicting the stability and safety status of rock tunnel faces.In tunneling practice,the rock mass quality is often assessed via a combination of qualitative and quantitative parameters.However,due to the harsh on-site construction conditions,it is rather difficult to obtain some of the evaluation parameters which are essential for the rock mass quality prediction.In this study,a novel improved Swin Transformer is proposed to detect,segment,and quantify rock mass characteristic parameters such as water leakage,fractures,weak interlayers.The site experiment results demonstrate that the improved Swin Transformer achieves optimal segmentation results and achieving accuracies of 92%,81%,and 86%for water leakage,fractures,and weak interlayers,respectively.A multisource rock tunnel face characteristic(RTFC)dataset includes 11 parameters for predicting rock mass quality is established.Considering the limitations in predictive performance of incomplete evaluation parameters exist in this dataset,a novel tree-augmented naive Bayesian network(BN)is proposed to address the challenge of the incomplete dataset and achieved a prediction accuracy of 88%.In comparison with other commonly used Machine Learning models the proposed BN-based approach proved an improved performance on predicting the rock mass quality with the incomplete dataset.By utilizing the established BN,a further sensitivity analysis is conducted to quantitatively evaluate the importance of the various parameters,results indicate that the rock strength and fractures parameter exert the most significant influence on rock mass quality.

Slaughter Performance, Muscle Quality and Nutritional Composition of Duoluo Goats in Sichuan Province

[Objectives] This study was conducted to understand the biological characteristics of Duoluo goats. [Methods] With male and female Duoluo goats as the research object, related performance indexes were determined and analyzed after slaughter. [Results] The weights of one-year-old male and female Duoluo goats before slaughter were (25.68±2.37) and (24.51±1.97) kg, respectively;the dressing percentages were (43.55±3.24) % and (43.84±3.42) %, respectively;and the net meat percentages were (33.02±2.32) % and (34.19±2.46) %, respectively. (2) The cooked meat rates of male and female Duoluo goats were (65.49±1.42) % and (65.36±1.55) %, respectively;the shearing force was (5.48±1.24) and (5.65±1.02) N, respectively;and the loin-eye muscle areas were (8.95±1.72) and (8.82±1.15) cm 2, respectively. (3) The protein contents of male and female Duoluo goats were (20.07±0.42) and (19.47±1.22) g/100 g, respectively;and the fat contents were (1.30±0.80) % and (2.92±0.55) %, respectively;and the cholesterol contents were (71.76±11.47) and (74.83±2.68) mg/100 g, respectively;(4) The Ca contents of male and female Duoluo goats were (69.53±10.89) and (63.00±4.56) mg/kg, respectively;the Fe contents were (16.73±1.83) and (14.77±0.58) mg/kg, respectively;and the Zn contents were (38.47±3.68) and (31.83±2.22) mg/kg, respectively. (5) In the muscles of male and female Duoluo goats, the contents of essential amino acids were (7.44±0.24) and (7.26±0.41) g/100 g , respectively;the contents of non-essential amino acids were (11.81±0.33) and (11.42±0.67) g/100 g, respectively;and the contents of flavor amino acids were (8.79±0.27) and (8.42±0.57) g/100 g, respectively. [Conclusions] This study lays a foundation for the excavation and utilization of the resource, Duoluo goats.

High-entropy diborides(HEBs)are considered as promising high-temperature structure materials owing to their high melting point and excellent thermal stability.However,the intrinsic brittleness is the main obstacle that seriously limits their practical applications.To overcome with this obstacle,carbon fibers(Cf)with outstanding mechanical properties are used in the present work as a first attempt to improve the damage tolerance of HEBs.The as-prepared C_(f)/(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2)–SiC composite(C_(f)/HEB–SiC)shows high relative density(97.9%)and good mechanical properties with flexural strength of 411±3 MPa and fracture toughness of 6.15±0.11 MPa·m^(1/2).More importantly,the damage tolerance parameter(Dt)has increased from 0.10 m^(1/2) for HEB–SiC to 0.29 m^(1/2) for C_(f)/HEB–SiC.Through microstructural analysis and Vickers indentation of the composite,the toughening mechanisms are disclosed.The carbon fibers coated with carbon coatings demonstrate unique capacity for prolonging the crack propagation path,which promotes the reliability of the composite effectively.Moreover,the C_(f)/(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2)–SiC composite also exhibits good static oxidation resistance in the temperature range of 1100–1500℃in air due to the formation of the protective oxide layer constituting of multicomponent oxides(Zr)HfTiO4 and(Zr)Hf_(6)Ta_(2)O_(17) embedded in a continuous SiO_(2) glass.These results are promising,and this primary work can be used as a reference to the synthesis of C_(f)/HEBs for thermal protection materials under hightemperature serving conditions.

Car-to-pedestrian collision(CPC)accidents occur frequently,and pedestrians often suffer serious head/brain injuries.One major cause is the primary impact with the windshield.Here,we use an umerical sim ulation method to study the influence of the windshield in-clination angle of a passenger car on pedestrian head/brain injury due to CPC accidents.The range of the windshield inclination angle was set at 24°-50°,with an interval of 2°.The results show that the windshield angle significantly affects the pedestrian kine-matics and exerts different effects on the head injury when evaluating with various head injury criteria.Regarding the head peak linear/rotational acceleration and acceleration-based head injury criterion(HIC)/rotational injury criterion(RIC),the predictions at the secondary impact stage have no clear relationship with the windshield angle(R^(2)=0.04,0.07,0.03 and 0.26,respectively)and their distributions are scattered.In the primary impact,the peak linear acceleration and HIC show a weak trend of first decreasing and then increasing with the increasing of the windshield angle,and the rotational acceleration and RIC tend to remain relatively con-stant.Regarding the cum ulative strain dama ge measure(CSDM)criterion,the predictions at the primary impact are slightly lower than those at the secondary impact,and the trend of first decreasing and then increasing with the increase in the windshield angle is observed at both impact stages.When the windshield inclination angle is approximately 32°-40°,the head injury severity in both impact phases is generally lower than that predicted at other windshield angles.

Experimental study on reactions between alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes: constraints on the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton

The experimental results of the reactions between an alkaline basaltic melt and mantle orthopyroxenes under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions of 1300–1400℃ and 2.0–3.0 GPa using a six-anvil apparatus are reported in this paper.The reactions are proposed to simulate the interactions between melts from the asthenospheric mantle and the lithospheric mantle.The starting melt in the experiments was made from the alkaline basalt occurring in Fuxin,Liaoning Province,and the orthopyroxenes were separated from the mantle xenoliths in Damaping,Hebei Province.The results show that clinopyroxenes were formed in all the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes under the studied P–T conditions.The formation of clinopyroxene in the reaction zone is mainly controlled by dissolution–crystallization,and the chemical compositions of the reacted melt are primarily infl uenced by the diff usion eff ect.Temperature is the most important parameter controlling the reactions between the melt and orthopyroxenes,which has a direct impact on the melting of orthopyroxenes and the diff usion of chemical components in the melt.Temperature also directly controls the chemical compositions of the newly formed clinopyroxenes in the reaction zone and the reacted melt.The formation of clinopyroxenes from the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes can result in an increase of CaO and Al_(2)O_(3) contents in the rocks containing this mineral.Therefore,the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt from the asthenospheric mantle and orthopyroxenes from the lithospheric mantle can lead to the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton from refractory to fertile with relatively high CaO and Al 2 O 3 contents.In addition,the reacted melts in some runs were transformed from the starting alkaline basaltic into tholeiitic after reactions,indicating that tholeiitic magma could be generated from alkaline basaltic one via reactions between the latter and orthopyroxene.

CrTaO_(4)(or Cr_(0.5)Ta_(0.5)O_(2))has been unexpectedly found to play a decisive role in improving the oxidation resistance of Cr and Ta-containing refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs).This rarely encountered complex oxide can effectively prevent the outward diffusion of metal cations from the RHEAs.Moreover,the oxidation kinetics of CrTaO_(4)-forming RHEAs is comparable to that of the well-known oxidation resistant Cr_(2)O_(3)-and Al_(2)O_(3)-forming Ni-based superalloys.However,CrTaO_(4)has been ignored and its mechanical and thermal properties have yet to be studied.To fill this research gap and explore the untapped potential for its applications,here we report for the first time the microstructure,mechanical and thermal properties of CrTaO_(4)prepared by hot-press sintering of solid-state reaction synthesized powders.Using the HAADF and ABF-STEM techniques,rutile crystal structure was confirmed and short range ordering was directly observed.In addition,segregation of Ta and Cr was identified.Intriguingly,CrTaO_(4)exhibits elastic/mechanical properties similar to those of yttria stabilized zirconia(YSZ)with Young’s modulus,shear modulus,and bulk modulus of 268,107,and 181 GPa,respectively,and Vickers hardness,flexural strength,and fracture toughness of 12.2±0.44 GPa,142±14 MPa,and 1.87±0.074 MPa·m^(1/2).The analogous elastic/mechanical properties of CrTaO_(4)to those of YSZ has spurred inquiries to lucrative leverage it as a new thermal barrier material.The measured melting point of CrTaO_(4)is 2103±20 K.The anisotropic thermal expansion coefficients areα_(a)=(5.68±0.10)×10^(-6)K^(-1),α_(c)=(7.81±0.11)×10^(-6)K^(-1),with an average thermal expansion coefficient of(6.39±0.11)×10^(-6)K^(-1).The room temperature thermal conductivity of CrTaO_(4)is 1.31 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and declines to 0.66 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at 1473 K,which are lower than most of the currently well-known thermal barrier materials.From the perspective of matched thermal expansion coefficient,CrTaO_(4)pertains to an eligible thermal barrier material fo

van der Waals(vdW)semiconductors have gained significant attention due to their unique physical properties and promising applications,which are embedded within distinct crystallographic symmetries.Here,we report a pressure-induced crystallineamorphization-recrystallization transition under compression in binary vdW semiconductor SiP.Upon compression to 52 GPa,bulk SiP undergoes a consecutive phase transition from pristine crystalline to amorphous phase,ultimately to recrystallized phase.By employing synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiments in conjunction with high-pressure crystal structure searching techniques,we reveal that the recrystallized Si P hosts a tetragonal structure(space group I4mm)and further transforms partially into a cubic phase(space group Fm3m).Consistently,electrical transport and alternating-current magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of three superconducting phases,which are embedded in separate crystallographic symmetries—the amorphous,tetragonal,and cubic structures.Furthermore,a high superconducting transition temperature of 12.3 K is observed in its recovered tetragonal phase during decompression.Our findings uncover a novel phase evolution path and elucidate a pressure-engineered structure-property relationship in vdW semiconductor SiP.These results not only offer a new platform to explore the transformation between different structures and functionalities,but also provide new opportunities for the design and exploration of advanced devices based on vdW materials.

Failure responses of rock tunnel faces during excavation through the fault-fracture zone

It is essential to cast light on the construction risks in tunnel excavations through the fault-fracture zone(FFZ).This study adopts the material point method(MPM)to simulate the failure responses of a rock tunnel face during excavation through the FFZ.A numerical study was conducted to compare a physical model test and validate the feasibility of using the MPM in simulating tunnel face failure.One hundred ninety numerical simulation cases were constructed to represent a rock tunnel excavation project with different site con-figurations.The simulation results suggest that the cohesion and the friction angle significantly influence failure responses.The tunnel cover depth can magnify the failure responses,and the FFZ thickness significantly affects the mobilized rock mass volume when the FFZ consists of a weak rock mass.The numerical simulation results suggest three deformation patterns:face bulge,partial failure,and slide collapse.The failure responses can be characterized by stress arch,slip surface,angle of reposing,and influence range.The insights suggested by the face failure responses during excavation through the FFZ can aid field engineers in determining the scope of possible damage,and in establishing emergency measures to minimize losses if such failure occurs.
