Central nervous system(CNS)injuries,including stroke,traumatic brain injury,and spinal cord injury,are essential causes of death and long-term disability and are difficult to cure,mainly due to the limited neuron regeneration and the glial scar ***,we apply extracellular vesicles(EVs)secreted by M2 microglia to improve the differentiation of neural stem cells(NSCs)at the injured site,and simultaneously modify them with the injured vascular targeting peptide(DA7R)and the stem cell recruiting factor(SDF-1)on their surface via copper-free click chemistry to recruit NSCs,inducing their neuronal differentiation,and serving as the nanocarriers at the injured site(Dual-EV).Results prove that the Dual-EV could target human umbilical vascular endothelial cells(HUVECs),recruit NSCs,and promote the neuronal differentiation of NSCs in ***,10 miRNAs are found to be upregulated in Dual-M2-EVs compared to Dual-M0-EVs via bioinformatic analysis,and further NSC differentiation experiment by flow cytometry reveals that among these miRNAs,miR30b-3p,miR-222-3p,miR-129-5p,and miR-155-5p may exert effect of inducing NSC to differentiate into *** vivo experiments show that Dual-EV nanocarriers achieve improved accumulation in the ischemic area of stroke model mice,potentiate NSCs recruitment,and increase *** work provides new insights for the treatment of neuronal regeneration after CNS injuries as well as endogenous stem cells,and the click chemistry EV/peptide/chemokine and related nanocarriers for improving human health.

End-expiratory carbon dioxide concentrations can be used to assist endotracheal *** novel multimodal endotracheal intubation guidance device combined visualization with an end-expiratory carbon dioxide concentration vectorization algorithm to achieve more accurate placement in difficult *** feasibility of a novel multimodal guidance device for the endotracheal intubation of difficult airways was verified in spontaneously breathing Bama miniature *** glottic exposure time,insertion time,and total intubation time were not significantly different between the fiberoptic bronchoscope group and the multimodal guidance device group in regard to the endotracheal intubation of difficult *** were also no significant differences in intubation attempts,first success rate,and total success *** in both groups experienced hypoxemia,hypotension,and esophageal intubation during endotracheal intubation,but there were also no significant differences in the incidence of adverse events between the two *** effect on changes in hemodynamics,heart rate,and oxygen saturation during intubation showed no significant difference between the two *** results of the present study demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of the initial prototype of a multimodal guidance device for the endotracheal intubation of difficult airways in pigs,which is expected to further assist in adequately positioning the airway during difficult endotracheal intubations with spontaneous breathing.

For this purpose, an X-ray picosecond multiframe technique hasbeen developed.

Non-isothermal Kinetics of Pyrolysis of Three Kinds of Fresh Biomass

A closed-form estimator and its several robust versions for the integervalued GARCH(1,1) model are proposed. These estimators are easy to implement and do not require the use of any numerical optimization procedure. Consistency and asymptotic normality for the non-robust closed-form estimator is established. The robustification of the closed-form estimator is done by replacing the sample mean and autocorrelations by robust estimators of them, respectively. The performances of these closed-form estimators are investigated and compared via simulations. New estimators are applied to 5 stock-market data sets with different periods and time intervals, and their prediction performances are assessed by in-sample prediction, out-of-sample prediction and scoring rules. other possible proposals related to the closed-form estimators are also discussed.

The pyrolysis kinetics of three different kinds of fresh biomass (grass: triple A, wheat straw, corn straw) in nitrogen flow were studied by thermogravimetric analysis at five different heating rates. The kinetic parameters of the pyrolysis process were calculated using the method of ozawa-Flynn-Wall and the mechanism of reactions were investi- gated using the method of Popescu. It was found that the values of activation energy varied in different temperature ranges. The pyrolysis processes are well described by the models of zhuravlev (zh) and valid for diffusion-controlled between 200 ℃ and 280 ℃, by Ginstling-Brounshtein (G-B), valid for diffusion-control between 280 ℃ and 310 ℃, for first-order chemical reaction between 310℃ and 350 ℃, by zhuravlev (zh) valid for diffusion-control between 350 ℃ and 430 ℃ and by the one-way transport model when temperatures are over 430 ℃.
