Pulse-doubling perovskite nanowire lasers enabled by phonon-assisted multistep energy funneling

Laser pulse multiplication from an optical gain medium has shown great potential in miniaturizing integrated optoelectronic *** multiple quantum wells(MQWs)structures have recently been recognized as an effective gain media capable of doubling laser pulses that do not rely on external optical *** the light amplifications enabled with pulse doubling are reported based on the perovskite MQWs thin films,the micronanolasers possessed a specific cavity for laser pulse multiplication and their corresponding intrinsic laser dynamics are still ***,a single-mode double-pulsed nanolaser from self-assembled perovskite MQWs nanowires is realized,exhibiting a pulse duration of 28 ps and pulse interval of 22 ps based on single femtosecond laser pulse *** is established that the continuous energy building up within a certain timescale is essential for the multiple population inversion in the gain medium,which arises from the slowing carrier localization process owning to the stronger exciton–phonon coupling in the smaller-n ***,the double-pulsed lasing is achieved from one fast energy funnel process from the adjacent small-n QWs to gain active region and another slow process from the spatially separated *** report may shed new light on the intrinsic energy relaxation mechanism and boost the further development of perovskite multiple-pulse lasers.

This letter studies large-disturbance stability of the power system with a synchronous generator(SG)and a converter-interfaced generation(CIG)connected to infinite *** power system is multi-timescale and first *** is shown that the boundary of region of attraction(ROA)of the simplified model is composed of stable manifolds of unstable equilibrium point(UEP)or semi-singular point(SSP),named anchor points,and singular surface *** type of anchor point determines the dominant instability pattern of the power *** the anchor point is UEP or SSP,the dominant instability pattern is the instability of rotor angle of SG or the instability of phase-locked loop and outer control loop(OCL)of CIG,*** of dominant instability pattern can be analyzed with the relative position relationship between UEP and *** effect of OCL is *** the OCL is activated,the ROA becomes smaller and the system is more prone to instability of *** is necessary to consider the OCL when studying the large-disturbance stability of the power system.

A novel classification of tracheal defects and the reconstruction strategies:A retrospective study based on 106 cases

Objective:The study aims to present a novel classification of tracheal defects and the corresponding reconstruction ***:The retrospective study was designed to analyze patients with diagnosed primary or secondary tracheal tumors from 1991 to *** techniques,complications and prognosis were *** status and patient outcomes were the principal follow-up *** defects were classified into two plane sizes(vertical(V)and horizontal(H)planes).Vertical defects were further categorized into three groups based on their tracheal ring numbers(V 1,≤5 rings;V 2,6-10 rings;and V 3,>10 rings).Tracheal defects with horizontal plane size H 1 and H 2 represent defects less and more than one-half the circumference of ***,suitable reconstruction strategies were planned primarily based on"V"and"H"*** reconstruction strategies performed were sleeve resection followed by an end-to-end anastomosis,window resection with sternocleidomastoid myoperiosteal flap reconstruction,defects conversion with rotation anastomosis,and modified tracheostomy with secondary flap ***:A total of 106 patients diagnosed with tracheal defects were enrolled in the study,of whom 59 patients underwent sleeve resection followed by end-to-end anastomosis;40 patients received window resection alongside sternocleidomastoid(SCM)myoperiosteal flap reconstruction;five patients received converting defects with rotation anastomosis and two patients underwent modified tracheostomy with secondary stage flap *** stenosis occurred in three V 2H 1 defect cases and were treated by a second reconstruction *** unilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis occurred in two patients with the V 3H 2 defect type,who were treated by temporary tracheotomy and partial vocal cord resection and extubated successfully during *** 106 patients achieved airway patency with adequate laryngeal function at the end of

China’s Proactive Fiscal Policy

In contrast to the traditional Western approach to macro-fiscal management,China’s proactive fiscal policy is founded on a people-centered development philosophy and,with distinctive Chinese characteristics,is a significant policy innovation of macroeconomic management in the Chinese *** there are notable distinctions between the Western“Keynesian”and the“nonKeynesian”schools of thought,both of these approaches’core policy goals and methodological roots are the same,composing the traditional Western macro-fiscal *** approach faces increasing real ***’s proactive fiscal policy,however,places greater emphasis on future potential growth rates in addition to equilibrium between supply and demand,achieving a fiscal policy transformation with a new *** this paper we argue that with such a new approach,China should reconsider the nature and reasonable level of the fiscal deficit,the function and risk assessment criteria of government debt,the scope and effects of reductions in taxes and fees,its approach and focus of demand management,and the costs and resulting efficiencies of policies in order to develop a new fiscal policy paradigm that is more in line with its stated goals.

New approach to measuring topological phase transitions utilizing Floquet technology

The Floquet technique provides a novel anomalous topological phase for non-equilibrium phase *** on the high symmetry of the quantum anomalous Hall model,the findings suggest a one-to-one correspondence between the average spin texture and the Floquet quasi-energy spectrum.A new approach is proposed to directly measure the quasienergy spectrum,replacing previous measurements of the average spin ***,we proposed a reliable experimental scheme based on ion trap *** scheme markedly reduces the measurement workload,improves the measurement fidelity,and is applicable to multiple platforms such as cold atoms and nuclear magnetic resonance.

Data-driven Anomaly Detection Method Based on Similarities of Multiple Wind Turbines

The operating conditions of wind turbines(WTs)in the same wind farm(WF)may share similarities due to their shared manufacturing process,control strategy,and operating ***,the similarities of WTs are seldom considered in WT anomaly detection,resulting in the disregard of useful *** paper proposes a method to improve the reliability and accuracy of WT anomaly detection using the supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA)data of multiple WTs in the same ***,a similarity assessment method based on a comparison of different observation time series is proposed,which objectively quantifies the similarities of WT operating ***,the SCADA data of the target WT and selected WTs that are similar are used to establish several estimation models through a long short-term memory(LSTM)*** models that exhibit good estimation performance are used to construct a combined estimation model that estimates the variations in the monitored variables of the target ***,an anomaly detection method that jointly compares the effective value and information entropy of the residuals is proposed to identify *** effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method are verified using the data of two actual WFs.

Simulating a Chern Insulator with𝐶C=±2 on Synthetic Floquet Lattice

The synthetic Floquet lattice,generated by multiple strong drives with mutually incommensurate frequencies,provides a powerful platform for quantum simulation of topological *** this study,we propose a 4-band tight-binding model of the Chern insulator with a Chern number𝐶=±2 by coupling two layers of the half Bernevig–Hughes–Zhang lattice and subsequently mapping it onto the Floquet lattice to simulate its topological *** determine the Chern number of our Floquet-version model,we extend the energy pumping method proposed by Martin et al.[2017 ***.X 7041008]and the topological oscillation method introduced by Boyers et al.[2020 ***.125160505],followed by numerical simulations for both *** simulation results demonstrate the successful extraction of the Chern number using either of these methods,providing an excellent prediction of the phase diagram that closely aligns with the theoretical one derived from the original bilayer half Bernevig–Hughes–Zhang ***,we briefly discuss a potential experimental implementation for our *** work demonstrates significant potential for simulating complex topological matter using quantum computing platforms,thereby paving the way for constructing a more universal simulator for non-interacting topological quantum states and advancing our understanding of these intriguing phenomena.

QAAS:quick accurate auto-scaling for streaming processing

In recent years,the demand for real-time data processing has been increasing,and various stream processing systems have *** the amount of data input to the stream processing system fluctuates,the computing resources required by the stream processing job will also *** resources used by stream processing jobs need to be adjusted according to load changes,avoiding the waste of computing *** present,existing works adjust stream processing jobs based on the assumption that there is a linear relationship between the operator parallelism and operator resource consumption(e.g.,throughput),which makes a significant deviation when the operator parallelism *** paper proposes a nonlinear model to represent operator *** divide the operator performance into three stages,the Non-competition stage,the Non-full competition stage,and the Full competition *** our proposed performance model,given the parallelism of the operator,we can accurately predict the CPU utilization and operator *** with actual experiments,the prediction error of our model is below 5%.We also propose a quick accurate auto-scaling(QAAS)method that uses the operator performance model to implement the auto-scaling of the operator parallelism of the Flink *** to previous work,QAAS is able to maintain stable job performance under load changes,minimizing the number of job adjustments and reducing data backlogs by 50%.

Boosting charge transfer via interface charge reconstruction between amorphous NiFe-LDH and crystalline NiCo_(2)O_(4)for efficient alkaline water/seawater oxidation

Electrocatalysts with optimal efficiency and durability for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are becoming increasingly important as the demand for alkaline water/seawater electrolysis technology ***,a novel rose-shaped NiFe-layered double hydroxide(LDH)/NiCo_(2)O_(4)composed of amorphous wrinkled NiFe-LDH and highly crystalline NiCo_(2)O_(4)was synthesized with rich *** unsaturated metal sites are generated due to significant charge reconstruction at the heterointerface between the crystalline and amorphous *** metal sites could trigger and provide more active *** density functional theory(DFT)reveals that a new charge transfer channel(Co-Fe)was formed at the heterointerface between NiFe-LDH as electron acceptor and NiCo_(2)O_(4)as electron *** new charge transfer channel boosts interfacial charge transfer and enhances catalytic *** NiFe-LDH/NiCo_(2)O_(4)/nickel foam(NF)drives current densities of 10 and 100 mA·cm−2 with overpotentials of 193 and 236 mV,*** composite electrode demonstrates a fast turnover frequency(0.0143 s−1)at 1.45 V ***(RHE=reversible hydrogen electrode),which is 5.5 times greater than pure NiCo_(2)O_(4),suggesting its superior intrinsic ***,NiFe-LDH/NiCo_(2)O_(4)/NF electrode exhibited negligible degradation after 150 h of uninterrupted running in alkaline seawater *** study introduces a method for preparing high-efficiency electrocatalysts utilized in alkaline water/seawater electrolysis.

Thiol-mediated transportation pathway:an approach for improving tumor penetration of nanomedicines in vivo
