BACKGROUND The efficacy of Vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy(VAT)in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(***)is *** To evaluate the efficacy of VAT in the Chinese *** This prospective,multicenter,randomized,open-label,and two-stage study was conducted at 23 centers in Fujian,China(May 2021-April 2022).***-infected patients were randomized to bismuth quadruple therapy(BQT),BQT-Vonoprazan(BQT-V),seven-day VAT(VAT-7),ten-day VAT(VAT-10),and fourteen-day VAT(VAT-14)*** primary endpoint was the *** eradication *** secondary endpoint was the frequency of adverse *** study was registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry,*** In the first stage,VAT-7 and BQT-V groups were selected for early termination because less than 23 among 28 cases were *** the second stage,the eradication rates for BQT,VAT-10,and VA-14 were 80.2%[95%confidence interval(95%CI):71.4%-86.8%],93.2%(86.6%-96.7%),92.2%(85.3%-96.0%)in the intention-to-treat(ITT)analysis,and 80.9%(95%CI:71.7%-87.5%),94.0%(87.5%-97.2%),and 93.9%(87.4%-97.2%)in the per-protocol *** ITT analysis showed a higher eradication rate in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups than in the BQT group(P=0.022 and P=0.046,respectively).The incidence of adverse events in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups was lower than in the BQT group(25.27%and 13.73%vs 37.62%,respectively;P<0.001).CONCLUSION VAT with a duration of 10 or 14 days achieves a higher eradication rate than the BQT,with a more tolerable safety profile in ***-infected patients in *** XP et *** for *** eradication.

Effects of Al/O on pressure properties of confined explosion from aluminized explosives

Pressure histories were tested in a 500-L chamber to identify the pressure load in confined explosion from aluminized explosives. Different aluminized explosives with Al/O, ranging from 0.25 to 1.23, were used. The recorded pressure curves could express the reflection of initial shock wave and the after burning combustion of aluminum. As there is no objective way to gain quasi-static pressure(P_(QS)),method of multipoint averaging was used in smoothing the original pressure curves to gain the P_(QS). The P_(QS),rising time of pressure(t_(QS)) which stands for the duration of the initial reflected shock wave, and attenuation coefficient(ω) which stands for the supportive effects of the combustion of aluminum to the P_(QS) are used to characterize the pressure load in the confined explosion from aluminized explosives. The research results showed that the Al/O significantly affected the three characteristic quantities. With the increase of Al/O, the P_(QS) increased at first and decreased later, gaining maximum at Al/O=0.99; the t_(QS)sustained growth and the ω decreased at first and increased later, gaining minimum at AI/O=0.99.

Multi-Objective Optimization for Tandem Cold Rolling Schedule

Considering the multivariable, strong-coupled, and nonlinear features of tandem cold rolling mill, a mathematical model of multi-objective optimization was built to facilitate the design of new systems aiming at equating the relative load, preventing slip, and obtaining best shape. BP （back propagation） neural network based on Levenberg- Marquardt algorithm was used for predicting the rolling force. The multi-objective fuzzy theory and method were introduced during the optimization. With an example of 1 370 mm tandem cold rolling mill, the rolling schedule of the common rolling, the single-objective optimization design, and the multi-objective fuzzy optimization design were compared with each other. The results generated from the case study showed that the proposed approach could significantly decreased the values of three objective functions simultaneously and the performance of the optimal rolling schedule was satisfactory and promising. Moreover, the capability and usefulness of fuzzy application in tandem cold rolling schedule were clearly demonstrated.

Raman scattering is a versatile and powerful technique and has been widely used in modern scientific research and vast industrial applications. It is one of the fundamental experimental techniques in condensed matter physics, since it can sensitively probe the basic elementary excitations in solids like electron, phonon, magnon, etc. The application of extreme conditions （low temperature, high magnetic field, high pressure, etc.） to Raman scattering, will push its capability up to an unprecedented level, because this enables us to look into new quantum phases driven by extreme conditions, trace the evolution of the excitations and their coupling, and hence uncover the underlying physics. This review contains two topics. In the first part, we will introduce the Raman facility under extreme conditions, belonging to the optical spectroscopy station of Synergetic Extreme Condition User Facilities （SECUF）, with emphasis on the system design and the capability the facility can provide. Then in the second part we will focus on the applications of Raman scattering under extreme conditions to a variety of condensed matter systems such as superconductors, correlated electron systems, charge density waves （CDW） materials, etc. Finally, as a rapidly developing technique, time-resolved Raman scattering will be highlighted here.

After repeated frustrations with amyloid beta(Aβ)-targeted clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease(AD)in recent years,the therapeutic focus of AD has gradually shifted from Aβto tau *** misfolding and aggregation of tau protein into neurofibrillary tangles(NFTs)cause neuron death and synaptic dysfunction,and the deposition of NFTs is more closely related to the severity of AD than Aβ***,it has great potential to target tau protein aggregation for AD *** hexapeptide VQIVYK(known as PHF6)in tau protein has been found to play a dominant role for tau aggregation and was widely used as a model to design tau protein aggregation ***,inspired by natural heat shock protein(HSPs),we fabricated a self-assembly nanochaperone based on mixed-shell polymeric micelle(MSPM)as a novel tau-targeted AD *** tunable phase-separated microdomains on the surface,the nanochaperone could effectively bind with PHF6 aggregates,inhibit PHF6 aggregation,block neuronal internalization of PHF6 species,thus significantly alleviating PHF6 mediated ***,the as-prepared nanochaperone could work with proteinase to facilitate the degradation of PHF6 *** bioinspired nanochaperone demonstrated a new way to target tau protein and provided a promising strategy for AD treatment.

This paper is concerned with event-triggered H∞control of sampled-data systems. Its novelties lie in three aspects:（i） A novel accumulated-state-error-based event-triggered scheme is introduced by comparing the integral of the state error from tk to t with the system state sampled at tk. This condition works well due to the fact that the so-called Zeno behaviour does not occur.（ii） A novel Lyapunov functional is constructed to establish a criterion to ensure some certain H∞performance of the closed-loop system. This Lyapunov functional is dependent on the integral of the state error involved in the event-triggered scheme.（iii） Under the event-triggered sampling scheme, suitable state-feedback controllers can be designed rather than be given a priori. Moreover, a self-triggered implementation of the proposed event-triggered sampling scheme is presented as well. Finally, a batch reactor model and an inverted pendulum system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Platooning represents one of the key features that connected automated vehicles may possess as it allows multiple automated vehicles to be maneuvered cooperatively with small headways on roads. However, a critical challenge in accomplishing automated vehicle platoons is to deal with the effects of intermittent and sporadic vehicle-to-vehicle data transmissions caused by limited wireless communication resources. This paper addresses the co-design problem of dynamic event-triggered communication scheduling and cooperative adaptive cruise control for a convoy of automated vehicles with diverse spacing policies. The central aim is to achieve automated vehicle platooning under various gap references with desired platoon stability and spacing performance requirements, while simultaneously improving communication efficiency. Toward this aim, a dynamic event-triggered scheduling mechanism is developed such that the intervehicle data transmissions are scheduled dynamically and efficiently over time. Then, a tractable co-design criterion on the existence of both the admissible event-driven cooperative adaptive cruise control law and the desired scheduling mechanism is derived. Finally, comparative simulation results are presented to substantiate the effectiveness and merits of the obtained results.

Hypersonic impact flash characteristics of a long-rod projectile collision with a thin plate target

Impact flash occurs when objects collide at supersonic speeds and can be used for real-time damage assessment when weapons rely on kinetic energy to destroy ***,the mechanism of impact flash remains unclear.A series of impact flash experiments of flat-head long-rod projectiles impacting thin target plates were performed with a two-stage light gas *** impact flash spectra for 6061 aluminum at 1.3e3.2 km/s collision speeds were recorded with a high-speed camera,a photoelectric sensor,and a time-resolved *** intensity of the impact flash exhibited a pulse characteristic with *** intensity(I)increased with impact velocity(V0)according to IfVn 0,where n?4.41 for V0>2 km/***,for V02 km/s,a continuous spectrum(thermal radiation background)was observed and increased in intensity with ***,for V0<2 km/s,only atomic line spectra were *** was no aluminum spectral lines for V0<2 km/s,which indicated that it had not been *** initial intense flash was emission from excited and ionized ambient gases near the impact surface,and had little relationship with shock temperature rise,indicating a new mechanism of impact flash.
