Role of iron ore in enhancing gasification of iron coke:Structural evolution,influence mechanism and kinetic analysis

The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.

Investigation of system structure and information processing mechanism for cognitive skywave over-the-horizon radar

Based on the cognitive radar concept and the basic connotation of cognitive skywave over-the-horizon radar（SWOTHR）, the system structure and information processingmechanism about cognitive SWOTHR are researched. Amongthem, the hybrid network system architecture which is thedistributed configuration combining with the centralized cognition and its soft/hardware framework with the sense-detectionintegration are proposed, and the information processing framebased on the lens principle and its information processing flowwith receive-transmit joint adaption are designed, which buildand parse the work law for cognition and its self feedback adjustment with the lens focus model and five stages informationprocessing sequence. After that, the system simulation andthe performance analysis and comparison are provided, whichinitially proves the rationality and advantages of the proposedideas. Finally, four important development ideas of futureSWOTHR toward ＂high frequency intelligence information processing system＂ are discussed, which are scene information fusion, dynamic reconfigurable system, hierarchical and modulardesign, and sustainable development. Then the conclusion thatthe cognitive SWOTHR can cause the performance improvement is gotten.

Controllable synthesis of polyoxovanadate-based coordination polymer nanosheets with extended exposure of catalytic sites

Two-dimensional nanomaterials have become a hot research topic, and progress in research on them in the past decade has been substantial. Here we demonstrate a molecule-based bottom-up method to synthesize freestanding polyoxometalate- based nanosheets in two different ways. The trans substitution of ligands with carboxylate functionality promoted the coordination of organically derivatized hexavanadate with zinc ions with preferential directionality, which led to the formation of coordination polymer nanosheets. Characterization with transmission electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy confirmed the morphology, structural composition, and preferential direction of the nanosheets. The microwave-assisted heating method and solvent addition method were proved to be effective for the preparation of POM-based nanosheet structures. The nanosheets were found to catalyze the aerobic oxidation of propanethiol （n-PrSH） to its corresponding disulfide （PrSSPr） under mild conditions.

Retrieval of multiple scattering contrast from x-ray analyzer-based imaging

We present a moment-based alternative approach to retrieve multiple scattering contrasts from x-ray analyzer-based imaging. By use of the properties of moments of convolutions, the multiple-image radiography approach is theoretically validated. Furthermore, higher order moments of the object scattering distribution, inaccessible in multiple-image radiography, are simultaneously provided by this alternative approach. It is experimentally demonstrated that the skew and kurtosis information related to the distribution of sub-pixel features within the object can be obtained from those complementary contrasts. Finally, the sensitivity of the retrieved multiple scattering contrasts is investigated experimentally. The finding that the sensitivity is inversely proportional to the square root of the detected photon number essentially indicates that the retrieval of moments with an order higher than two can be achieved without increasing exposure time or dose. The presented alternative approach provides an access to the exploitation of multiple scattering contrasts, which is expected to be useful in biomedical research, materials science, security screening, etc.

Enhanced Crystallization of Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)by a Self-assembly Nucleating Agent

Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PBAT)is a promising biodegradable flexible polymer but suffers from slow crystallization rate,making it less attractive for some applications like the injection-molded products in comparison with low-density polyethylene(LDPE).This work aimed to accelerate the crystallization of PBAT by adding a self-assembly nucleating agent octamethylenedicarboxylic dibenzoylhydrazide(OMBH).PBAT/OMBH composites with various OMBH contents(0 wt%,0.5 wt%,0.7 wt%,1 wt%,2 wt%,3 wt%and 5 wt%)were prepared through *** effect of OMBH on the crystallization behavior,morphologies and mechanical properties of PBAT was *** highest nucleation efficiency value of 59.6%was achieved for PBAT with 0.7 wt%OMBH,much higher than that of 22.7%for PBAT with 0.7 wt%*** force microscopy results showed that OMBH formed fine fibers and induced the formation of transcrystalline layers of *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)combined with two-dimensional correlation spectra suggested that the intermolecular dipole-dipole N—H…O=C interactions but not hydrogen bond between OMBH and PBAT promoted the crystallization of PBAT in the initial period of *** presence of OMBH did not change the crystal form of PBAT but had positive contribution in enhancing its crystallinity and mechanical *** work is essential for preparing PBAT with high crystallization rate,enhancing its potential applications in injection-molded products.

Torsion Fields Generated by the Quantum Effects of Macro-bodies

Effect of cold rolling and annealing on microstructure and properties of a new resource-saving duplex stainless steel Fe–19Cr–0.6Al–12Mn

An Fe-19Cr-0.6Al-12Mn duplex stainless steel with an optimized alloy composition of Ni replaced by Mn and Cr partially replaced by Al was developed to avoid the edge cracking, which is a common defect in the hot rolling of traditional twophase stainless steels. The newly developed duplex stainless steel could be hot-rolled in the single-phase ferrite (α) region by controlling rolling temperature and the single-phase ferrite microstructure was retained on water cooling. To obtain the two-phase stainless steel product with ferrite and austenite (γ) microstructure, cold rolling and annealing were carried out,and appropriate cold rolling reduction and annealing process parameters were determined. The significant impact of annealing on microstructure, mechanical properties and pitting resistance of the experimental steel was studied. It was observed that with the increase in cold rolling reduction, the number of γ nucleation points was dramatically increased leading to the precipitation of more γ at α grain boundaries after annealing. During annealing at 800 ℃ and with the increase in annealing time, the austenite fraction was increased with a lower rate and remained almost constant when the annealing time was greater than 4 h. With the increase in annealing temperature, the austenite fraction decreased gradually in the temperature range of 750-860 ℃. Good combination of strength, ductility and excellent pitting resistance was obtained by cold rolling to 80% reduction and annealing at 800 ℃ for 4 h. Grain refinement and the existence of Σ3 boundaries played a vital role in improving the pitting resistance of the experimental steel. With good combination of strength, ductility and corrosion resistance, the newly developed duplex stainless steel is expected to be a new resource-saving dual-phase stainless steel.

Transition metal sulfides have great potential as anode mterials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific ***,the inferior intrinsic conductivity and large volume variation during sodiation-desodiation processes seriously affect its high-rate and long-cyde performance,unbeneficial for the application as fast-charging and long-cycling SIBs ***,the three-dimensional porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks(Cu_(1.81)S/NC)are synthesized by the simple and facile sol-gel and annealing processes,which can accommodate the volumetric expansion of Cu_(1.81)S nanoparticles and accelerate the transmission of ions and electrons during Na^(+)insertion/extraction processes,exhibiting the excellent rate capability(250.6 mA·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and outstanding cycling stability(70% capacity retention for 6000 cycles at 10.0 A·g^(-1))for ***,the Na-ion full cells coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode also demonstrate the satisfactory reversible specific capacity of 330.5 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)and long-cycle performance with the 86.9% capacity retention at 2.0 A·g^(-1)after 750 *** work proposes a promising way for the conversionbased metal sulfides for the applications as fast-charging sodium-ion battery anode.
