Wood,a readily available and sustainable natural resource,has found widespread use in construction and ***,its inherent flammability poses a potential fire *** intumescent fire-retardant coatings effectively mitigate this risk,achieving high transparency in such coatings presents a significant *** our approach,we employed a cross-linked network of phytic acid anion and N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]-N,N,N-trimethylammonium cation to create a transparent"three-in-one"intumescent *** collaborative P/N/Si flame-retardant effect markedly improved the intumescent char-forming capability,preventing the wood from rapid *** resulted in a substantial reduction in heat release(13.9%decrease in THR)and an increased limiting oxygen index(LOI)value of 35.5%.Crucially,the high transparency of the coating ensured minimal impact on the wood's appearance,allowing the natural wood grains to remain clearly *** innovative approach provides a straightforward method for developing transparent intumescent flame-retardant coatings suitable for wooden *** potential applications extend to preserving ancient buildings and heritage conservation efforts.

In this paper,we study the partial multi-label(PML)image classification problem,where each image is annotated with a candidate label set consisting of multiple relevant labels and other noisy *** PML methods typically design a disambiguation strategy to filter out noisy labels by utilizing prior knowledge with extra assumptions,which unfortunately is unavailable in many real ***,because the objective function for disambiguation is usually elaborately designed on the whole training set,it can hardly be optimized in a deep model with stochastic gradient descent(SGD)on *** this paper,for the first time,we propose a deep model for PML to enhance the representation and discrimination *** the one hand,we propose a novel curriculum-based disambiguation strategy to progressively identify ground-truth labels by incorporating the varied difficulties of different *** the other hand,consistency regularization is introduced for model training to balance fitting identified easy labels and exploiting potential relevant *** experimental results on the commonly used benchmark datasets show that the proposed method significantlyoutperforms the SOTA methods.

A computational model of thermal behavior of the top-surface slag layers in continuous casting mold was applied to interpret the thermal insulation of mold powder. The temperature drop of liquid steel caused by heat re moral at the interface of molten steel and slag in mold was proposed to evaluate the thermal insulation of mold slag. The calculation results show that slag consumption is one of important factor influencing the temperature drop, while the casting speed has no obvious effect on it. With the increase of slag consumption, the temperature drop is increased.

In this article,we employ a fully-resolved numerical simulation method（the fictitious domain method）to investigate the effects of large neutrally-buoyant particles on the turbulent flow in a pipe at low Reynolds number and non-dilute *** tube Reynolds number is fixed to be 4 900,the particle-pipe diameter ratio is 0.1,and the particle volume fraction ranges from 0.33%to 10%.Our results indicate that the presence of large particles decreases the maximum root-of-mean-square（rms）of the streamwise velocity fluctuation near the wall by weakening the intensity of large-scale streamwise vortices,although in the region very close to the wall the particles increase the rms of streamwise velocity *** the other hand,the particles induce small-scale vortices in the near-wall region,resulting in the enhancement of the rms of radial and circumferential velocity fluctuations there.

Assessment of past-climate simulations of regional climate models(RCMs)is important for understanding the reliability of RCMs when used to project future regional ***,we assess the performance and discuss possible causes of biases in a WRF-based RCM with a grid spacing of 50 km,named WRFG,from the North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program(NARCCAP)in simulating wet season precipitation over the Central United States for a period when observational data are *** RCM reproduces key features of the precipitation distribution characteristics during late spring to early summer,although it tends to underestimate the magnitude of *** dry bias is partially due to the model’s lack of skill in simulating nocturnal precipitation related to the lack of eastward propagating convective systems in the *** in reproducing large-scale circulation and environmental conditions is another contributing *** too weak simulated pressure gradient between the Rocky Mountains and the Gulf of Mexico results in weaker southerly winds in between,leading to a reduction of warm moist air transport from the Gulf to the Central Great *** simulated low-level horizontal convergence fields are less favorable for upward motion than in the NARR and hence,for the development of moist convection as ***,a careful examination of an RCM’s deficiencies and the identification of the source of errors are important when using the RCM to project precipitation changes in future climate scenarios.

Influences of shale microstructure on mechanical properties and bedding fractures distribution

The difference in microstructure leads to the diversity of shale mechanical properties and bedding fractures distribution patterns. In this paper, the microstructure and mechanical properties of Longmaxi marine shale and Qingshankou continental shale were studied by X-ray diffractometer(XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM) with mineral analysis system, and ***, the typical bedding layers area was properly stratified using Focused Ion Beam(FIB), and the effects of microstructure and mechanical properties on the distribution patterns of bedding fractures were analyzed. The results show that the Longmaxi marine shale sample contains more clay mineral grains, while the Qingshankou continental shale sample contains more hard brittle mineral grains such as feldspar. For Longmaxi marine shale sample, hard brittle minerals with grain sizes larger than 20 μm is18.24% and those with grain sizes smaller than 20 μm is 16.22%. For Qingshankou continental shale sample, hard brittle minerals with grain sizes larger than 20 μm is 40.7% and those with grain sizes smaller than 20 μm is 11.82%. In comparison to the Qingshankou continental shale sample, the Longmaxi marine shale sample has a lower modulus, hardness, and heterogeneity. Laminated shales are formed by alternating coarse-grained and fine-grained layers during deposition. The average single-layer thickness of Longmaxi marine shale sample is greater than Qingshankou continental shale sample. The two types of shale have similar bedding fractures distribution patterns and fractures tend to occur in the transition zone from coarse-grained to fine-grained deposition. The orientation of the fracture is usually parallel to the bedding plane and detour occurs in the presence of hard brittle grains. The fracture distribution density of the Longmaxi marine shale sample is lower than that of the Qingshankou continental shale sample due to the strong heterogeneity of the Qingshankou contine
