The medical use of bee venom for rheumatoid arthritis ( RA ) has a very long tradition. In this study, isolation and purification of polypeptides from bee venom were carried out on sephadex chromatography, heparin sepharose CL6B chromatography and HPLC. Several fractions were extracted, and their effects on activation of splenocyte and THP-1 cell were studied. The inhibitory fraction was selected for further studies. Finally, BV I-2H that the HPLC elution profiles was a single peak was isolated by C8 column. ESI-MS detection results showed that BY I-2H was a fraction of bee venom, and the molecular weight of the major component was 644.8. BY I -2H could inhibit ConA-induced splenocyte proliferation, IL-1 production and interfere with splenocyte cycle in mice. Moreover, BV I-2H could inhibit PMA-induced TNFa production in THP-1 cells, which was due to its inhibitory effects on TNFa mRNA expression and protein phosphorylation of IκBα. The clinical efficacy was compared between 3D navigation-assisted percutaneous iliosacral screw(3DPS)and minimally invasive reconstruction plate(MIRP)in treating sacroiliac complex injury and the surgical procedures of 3DPS were introduced.A retrospective analysis was performed on 49 patients with sacroiliac complex injury from March 2013 to May ***-one cases were treated by 3DPS,and 28 cases by *** indexes as operative time,blood loss,incision length,length of hospital stay and postoperative complications were respectively *** of reduction was postoperatively evaluated by Matta radiological criteria,and clinical effect was assessed by Majeed scoring criteria at the last *** time and hospital stay were significantly shortened,and blood loss,and incision length were significantly reduced in 3DPS group as compared with those in MIRP group(P0.05).It was concluded that both 3DPS and MIRP can effectively treat the sacroiliac complex injury,and 3DPS can provide an accurate,safe and minimally invasive fixation with shorter operative time and hospital stay.

Nodal-line semimetals have become a research hot-spot due to their novel properties and great potential application in spin electronics. It is more challenging to find 2D nodal-line semimetals that can resist the spin–orbit coupling(SOC)effect. Here, we predict that 2D tetragonal Zn B is a nodal-line semimetal with great transport properties. There are two crossing bands centered on the S point at the Fermi surface without SOC, which are mainly composed of the pxy orbitals of Zn and B atoms and the pz orbitals of the B atom. Therefore, the system presents a nodal line centered on the S point in its Brillouin zone(BZ). And the nodal line is protected by the horizontal mirror symmetry M_(z). We further examine the robustness of a nodal line under biaxial strain by applying up to-4% in-plane compressive strain and 5% tensile strain on the Zn B monolayer, respectively. The transmission along the a direction is significantly stronger than that along the b direction in the conductive channel. The current in the a direction is as high as 26.63 μA at 0.8 V, and that in the b direction reaches 8.68 μA at 0.8 V. It is interesting that the transport characteristics of Zn B show the negative differential resistance(NDR) effect after 0.8 V along the a(b) direction. The results provide an ideal platform for research of fundamental physics of 2D nodal-line fermions and nanoscale spintronics, as well as the design of new quantum devices.

利用石墨烯和腰果酚对酚醛树脂进行改性,制得石墨烯/腰果酚改性酚醛树脂(GCP),并将自制碳纤维原纸浸渍于此树脂中,制备得到石墨烯/腰果酚改性酚醛树脂基碳纤维纸基复合材料(GCPC)。利用热重分析仪对GCP进行了分析;并利用四探针测试仪、万能试验机和多孔材料分析仪,研究了GCPC的电学性能、力学性能、孔径分布以及孔隙率。结果表明,随着石墨烯和腰果酚用量的增加,GCPC的力学强度和导电性能得以提高;随着石墨烯用量的增加,孔隙率下降,小孔比例增加;而随着腰果酚用量的增加,孔隙率上升,小孔比例减少,且当腰果酚的质量分数为20%时,碳纤维纸基复合材料的拉伸强度为38.17 MPa,体积电阻率为18.46 mΩ·cm,孔隙率67.46%。

Microencapsulation improves inhibitory effects of transplanted olfactory ensheathing cells on pain after sciatic nerve injury

Olfactory bulb tissue transplantation inhibits P2X2/3 receptor-mediated neuropathic pain. However, the olfactory bulb has a complex cellular composition, and the mechanism underlying the action of purified transplanted olfactory ensheathing cells（OECs） remains unclear. In the present study, we microencapsulated OECs in alginic acid, and transplanted free and microencapsulated OECs into the region surrounding the injured sciatic nerve in rat models of chronic constriction injury. We assessed mechanical nociception in the rat models 7 and 14 days after surgery by measuring paw withdrawal threshold, and examined P2X2/3 receptor expression in L4–5 dorsal root ganglia using immunohistochemistry. Rats that received free and microencapsulated OEC transplants showed greater withdrawal thresholds than untreated model rats, and weaker P2X2/3 receptor immunoreactivity in dorsal root ganglia. At 14 days, paw withdrawal threshold was much higher in the microencapsulated OEC-treated animals. Our results confirm that microencapsulated OEC transplantation suppresses P2X2/3 receptor expression in L4–5 dorsal root ganglia in rat models of neuropathic pain and reduces allodynia, and also suggest that transplantation of microencapsulated OECs is more effective than transplantation of free OECs for the treatment of neuropathic pain.

Because nearby construction has harmful effects,precisely predicting blast-induced ground vibration is *** this paper,a hybrid artificial bee colony(ABC)and support vector machine(SVM)model was proposed for predicting the value of peak particle velocity(PPV),which is used to describe blast-induced ground *** construct the model,5 potentially relevant factors,including controllable and uncontrollable parameters,were considered as input parameters,and PPV was set as the output ***-five samples were recorded from the Hongling lead-zinc *** ABC-SVM model was developed and trained on 35 samples via 5-fold cross-validation(CV).A testing set(10 samples)was used to evaluate the prediction performance of the ABC-SVM *** and four empirical models(United States Bureau of Mines(USBM),Amraseys-Hendron(A-H),Langefors-Kihstrom(L-K),and Central Mining Research Institute(CMRI))also were introduced for ***,the performances of the models were analyzed by using 3 statistical parameters:the correlation coefficient(R2),root-mean-square error(RMSE),and variance accounted for(VAF).ABC-SVM had the highest R2 and VAF values followed by the SVM,A-H,USBM,CMRI,and L-K *** results demonstrated that ABC-SVM outperformed SVM and the empirical predictors for predicting ***,the best results from the R2,RMSE,and VAF indices were 0.9628,0.2737,and 96.05%for the ABC-SVM *** sensitivities of the parameters also were investigated,and the height difference between the blast point and the monitoring station was found to be the parameter that had the most influence on PPV.

Acute ischemic stroke （AIS）, as the third leading cause of death worldwide, is characterized by its high incidence, mortality rate, high incurred disability rate, and frequent reoccurrence. The neuroprotective effects of Ginkgo biloba extract （GBE） against several cerebral diseases have been reported in previous studies, but the underlying mechanisms of action are still unclear. Using a novel in vitro rat cortical capillary endothelial cell- astrocyte-neuron network model, we investigated the neuroprotective effects of GBE and one of its important constituents, Ginkgolide B （GB）, against oxygenglucose deprivation/reoxygenation and glucose （OGD/R） injury. In this model, rat cortical capillary endothelial cells, astrocytes, and neurons were cocultured so that they could be synchronously observed in the same system. Pretreatment with GBE or GB increased the neuron cell viability, ameliorated cell injury, and inhibited the cell apoptotic rate through Bax and Bcl-2 expression regulation after OGD/R injury. Furthermore, GBE or GB pretreatment enhanced the transendothelial electrical resistance of capillary endothelial monolayers, reduced the endothelial permeability coefficients for sodium fluorescein （Na-F）, and increased the expression levels of tight junction proteins, namely, ZO-1 and occludin, in endothelial cells. Results demonstrated the preventive effects of GBE on neuronal cell death and enhancement of the function of brain capillary endothelial monolayers after OGD/R injury in vitro; thus, GBE could be used as an effective neuroprotective agent for AIS/reperfusion, with GB as one of its significant constituents.
