A hydrophobic hypercrosslinked polymeric resin LC-1 was prepared and characterized. The properties of LC-1 resin were compared with those of a commercial hypercrosstinked polymer NDA-201 resin. In addition, the dynamic adsorption of trichloroethylene （TCE） onto LC-1 under dry and humid conditions at 303 K was investigated, the result shows that LC-1 possesses high hydrophobic property and can remove TCE from gas stream without effect of high humidity efficiently.

Snake toxin Calciseptine as a natural antagonist of L-type calcium channel has potential drug values, but its structural information remains unknown. Here, we report the total chemical synthesis of Calciseptine by using hydrazide based native chemical ligation. The crystal structure of Calciseptine was determined by racemic protein crystallography technique. Compared to the structure of its homologous family protein, we found that Calciseptine is adopting a typical three-finger structure.

Quorum sensing(QS)plays an essential role in virulence factor production,biofilm formation,and antimicrobial *** a potent QS inhibitor,hordenine can inhibit both QS and biofilm formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Serratia *** this work,we tested the QS inhibitory potential of 27 hordenine analogs against QS and biofilm formation in *** and *** the tested analogs,seven(12,28,27,26,2,23,and 7)exhibited strong QS inhibitory activity against ***,five of which(12,28,27,26,and 2)showed better inhibitory activity than *** addition,seven analogs(28,12,23,7,26,2,and 27)exhibited better biofilm inhibition against *** than *** analogs(7,28,2,and 12)showed QS inhibitory activity against ***,two of which(7 and 28)demonstrated better inhibitory activity than ***,analog 7 showed similar biofilm inhibition against *** as ***-activity relationship(SAR)analysis indicated that the inhibitory activities of the analogs were related to four factors,i.e.,carbon chain length,presence or absence of anα,β-C=C bond,amino group with/without lipophilic group,such as methyl group,and hydroxyl group in benzene ring.

Hydrogenation of graphene nanoflakes and C-H bond dissociation of hydrogenated graphene nanoflakes： a density functional theory study

The Gibbs free energy change for the hydro- genation of graphene nanoflakes Cn （n = 24, 28, 30 and 32） and the C-H bond dissociation energy of hydrogenated graphene nanoflakes CnHm （n = 24, 28, 30 and 32; and m = 1, 2 and 3） are evaluated using density functional theory calculations. It is concluded that the graphene nanoflakes and hydrogenated graphene nanoflakes accept the orth- aryne structure with peripheral carbon atoms bonded via the most triple bonds and leaving the least unpaired dan- gling electrons. Five-membered rings are formed at the deep bay sites attributing to the stabilization effect from the pairing of dangling electrons. The hydrogenation reactions which eliminate one unpaired dangling electron and thus decrease the overall multiplicity of the graphene nanoflakes or hydrogenated graphene nanoflakes are spontaneous with negative or near zero Gibbs free energy change. And the resulting C-H bonds are stable with bond dissociation energy in the same range as those of aromatic compounds. The other C-H bonds are not as stable attributing to the excessive unpaired dangling electrons being filled into the C-H anti-bond orbital.

Injury to peripheral nerves can lead to neuropathic pain, along with well-studied effects on sensory neurons, including hyperexcitability, abnormal spontaneous activity, and neuroinflammation in the sensory ganglia. Neuropathic pain can be enhanced by sympathetic activity. Peripheral nerve injury may also damage sympathetic axons or expose them to an inflammatory environment. In this study, we examined the lumbar sympathetic ganglion responses to two rat pain models： ligation of the L5 spinal nerve, and local inflammation of the L5 dorsal root ganglion （DRG）, which does not involve axotomy. Both models resulted in neuroinflammatory changes in the sympathetic ganglia, as indicated by macrophage responses, satellite glia activation, and increased numbers of T cells, along with very modest increases in sympathetic neuron excitability （but not spontaneous activity） measured in ex vivo recordings. The spinal nerve ligation model generally caused larger responses than DRG inflammation. Plasticity of the sympathetic system should be recognized in studies of sympathetic effects on pain.

In this article,the problem of load balance in hierarchical routing network is *** conventional shortest path first（SPF） algorithm over aggregated topology in hierarchical routing network may result in worse routing performance,a traffic sharing path selection algorithm and a variable weight scheme are put forward for hierarchical routing network,which can equilibrate the utilities of link resources and reduce the blocking probability of connections with the improvement on *** are conducted to evaluate proposed variable weight and traffics balance（VWTB） algorithm,which combines traffic sharing and variable *** the simulation results,it can be found that the proposed VWTB algorithm can balance the traffics and equilibrate the utilities of link resources significantly.

ZnO particles about 200 nm were prepared through a facile hydrothermal *** with single ozonation,the degradation efficiency of phenol increased about 23.7%and the degradation efficiency of intermediates improved about four times in the presence of ZnO at 298 *** addition,the catalyst had good stability in the ozonation *** influence of temperature was investigated and it was found that the better catalysis efficiency could be obtained at lower temperature.

Chronic enteropathy associated with the SLCO2A1 gene(CEAS)is a complex gastroenterological condition characterized by multiple ulcers in the small intestine with chronic bleeding and protein *** review explores the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of CEAS,focusing on the role of SLCO2A1-encoded prostaglandin transporter OATP2A1 and its impact on prostaglandin E2(PGE2)*** have suggested that elevated PGE2 levels contribute to mucosal damage,inflammation,and disruption of the intestinal *** effects of PGE2 on macrophage activation and Maxi-Cl channel functionality,as well as its interaction with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs play crucial roles in the progression of *** the balance between its protective and pro-inflammatory effects and the complex interactions within the gastrointestinal tract can shed light on potential therapeutic targets for CEAS and guide the development of novel,targeted therapies.

Objective:To investigate the inhibition effect of siRNA interference on NGF induced by inflammatory factor IL-6,and JUL—1 so as to provide novel targets for clinical treatment of discogenic low back ***:The intervertebral disc nucleus and annulus fibrosus cells of rats were separated-The cells were co-cultured with different concentrations(10 nmol/L,20nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L)of IL-6 and IL-1β.The NGF-siRNA was leaded into the cocultured cells with its import ability assessed by flow cytometry instrument tests,hefore and after which the NCF mRNA expression was detected by real-time Q-PCR and the NGF content was detected by ***:Flow cytometry instrument test results showed that the NGFsiRNA cell conversion rate was 99.8%.Real-time Q-PCR detection results showed that compared with negative control group,the NGF mRNA expression of co-cultured cells treated by 10 nmol/L,20 nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L IL-6 and IL-1βwere respectively raised 3.4,3.7,4.7,3.7 times which were all significantly down-regulated after the import of *** detection results showed that compared with negative control group,the NGF content of cocultured medium treated by 10 nmol/L,20 nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L I-L6 and IL-1βwere respectively raised 2.9,3.3,4.5,7.4 times which were all significantly decreased after the import of ***:These molecular biological results suggest that inflammatory factor IL-6 and IL-1βcould stimulate NCF on intervertebral disc cells in vitro culture model and its efficiency is concentration dependent,while siRNA interference can inhibit the stimulation effect of IL-6 and IL-1βon intervertebral disc cell,which provides a new targets for the clinical treatment of discogenic low back pain.
