Development of CONTHAC-3D and hydrogen distribution analysis of HPR1000

An in-house code,CONTHAC-3D,was developed to calculate and analyze thermal-hydraulic phenomena in containments during severe ***-3D is a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics code that can be applied to predict gas flow,diffusion,and steam condensation in a containment during a severe hypothetical accident,as well as to obtain an estimate of the local hydrogen concentration in various zones of the ***-3D was developed using multiple models to simulate the features of the proprietary systems and equipment of HPR1000 and ACP100,such as the passive cooling system,passive autocatalytic recombiners and the passive air cooling *** validate CONTHAC-3D,a GX6 test was performed at the Battelle Model Containment *** hydrogen concentration and temperature monitored by the GX6 test are accurately predicted by ***,the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment during a severe accident was *** results show that the hydrogen removal rates calculated using CONTHAC-3D for different types of PARs agree well with the theoretical values,with an error of less than 1%.As the accident progresses,the hydrogen concentration in the lower compartment becomes higher than that in the large space,which implies that the lower compartment has a higher hydrogen risk than the dome and large space at a later stage of the *** amount of hydrogen removed by the PARs placed on the floor of the compartment is small;therefore,raising the installation height of these recombiners appropriately is ***,we do not recommend installing all autocatalytic recombiners at high *** study findings in regard to the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment indicate that CONTHAC-3D can be applied to the study of hydrogen risk containment.

Regulating luminescent dynamics of lanthanide-based luminescent materials via external stimuli is of great significance in the fields of optical thermometry and high-level ***,it is still a huge challenge to realize multimodal emissions with tunable color outputs from a single activator in simple structures via smart dynamic control of photon transition ***,we present a mechanistic strategy to achieve multimodal luminescence of Er^(3+)activators with color-switchable outputs in a non-core-shell *** the control of excitation dynamics(λ_(ex)=980,808,1532,377 nm),the population among the intermediate en ergy levels of Er^(3+)and the interaction between Er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)could be precisely modulated through energy transfer and migration processes,leading to the generation of colortunable multimodal luminescence upon diverse excitation modes(non-steady-state,single-/dual-wavelength steady,thermal activation).Inspired by its special luminescent performance,the as-obtained material exhibits great potential in noncontact thermometry,multimodal anticounterfeiting,and high-capacity information encryption by performing a series of proof-of-concept *** findings might provide a conceptual model to modulate the luminescent dynamics in a simple-structured system for the generation of color-adjustable multimodal emissions,which is convenient for the development of advanced luminescent materials toward versatile cuttingedge applications.

Federated learning(FL) enables distributed clients to collaboratively train a machine learning model without sharing raw data with each other. However, it suffers from the leakage of private information from uploading models. In addition, as the model size grows, the training latency increases due to the limited transmission bandwidth and model performance degradation while using differential privacy(DP)protection. In this paper, we propose a gradient sparsification empowered FL framework with DP over wireless channels, to improve training efficiency without sacrificing convergence performance. Specifically, we first design a random sparsification algorithm to retain a fraction of the gradient elements in each client’s local model, thereby mitigating the performance degradation induced by DP and reducing the number of transmission parameters over wireless channels. Then, we analyze the convergence bound of the proposed algorithm, by modeling a non-convex FL problem. Next, we formulate a time-sequential stochastic optimization problem for minimizing the developed convergence bound, under the constraints of transmit power, the average transmitting delay, as well as the client’s DP requirement. Utilizing the Lyapunov drift-plus-penalty framework, we develop an analytical solution to the optimization problem. Extensive experiments have been implemented on three real-life datasets to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm. We show that our proposed algorithms can fully exploit the interworking between communication and computation to outperform the baselines, i.e., random scheduling, round robin, and delay-minimization algorithms.

林年同将“游”的概念应用于中国电影,提出流动的空间意识与构图秩序——镜游。以“游”为方法全面考察中国电影,不难发现,“游”与影像空间的观感、质感与美感紧密相连,能够折射出中国美感心态的民族底色。本文试图以“游”为中心,归纳中国电影的空间造型、空间本体与空间体验,探寻中国电影“游”的空间形态、“游”的空间向度以及“游”的空间感知,建构以“游”为核心的整体化影像空间观念。镜游理论不仅由内而外地影响中国电影创作,也是一条全方位认知电影民族化的路径。

Recently,lipid nanoparticles(LNPs)have been extensively investigated as non-viral carriers of nucleic acid vaccines due to their high transport efficiency,safety,and straightforward production and ***,the molecular mechanism underlying the interactions between nucleic acids and phospholipid bilayers within LNPs remains *** this study,we employed the all-atom molecular dynamics simulation to investigate the interactions between single-stranded nucleic acids and a phospholipid *** findings revealed that hydrophilic bases,specifically G in single-stranded RNA(ssRNA)and single-stranded DNA(ssDNA),displayed a higher propensity to form hydrogen bonds with phospholipid head ***,ssRNA exhibited stronger binding energy than ***,divalent ions,particularly Ca2+,facilitated the binding of ssRNA to phospholipids due to their higher binding energy and lower dissociation rate from ***,our study provides valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying nucleic acidphospholipid interactions,with potential implications for the nucleic acids in biotherapies,particularly in the context of lipid carriers.

梳形聚合物已成为一类具有广泛潜在应用的新材料,但是,开发这些应用的先决条件是准确表征梳形聚合物链结构与分子参数的关系。本文采用布朗动力模拟方法探究了环状梳形聚合物链尺寸与结构特征参数的依赖关系,获得了溶液中链构象的一般描述。结合Flory理论,我们发现环状梳形链与线状梳形链类似,只有在高接枝密度时,侧链-侧链间排除体积的影响才足够显著。此外,拉伸因子可以很好地捕捉环状梳形聚合物构象变化的本质,其中回转半径与拉伸因子满足标度指数关系。本文揭示了环状梳形链尺寸与分子参数的依赖关系,明确了拉伸因子是描述链相对尺寸的可靠参量。

心血管并发症是糖尿病患者死亡的首要原因。其中,糖尿病心肌病是排除了高血压、冠心病所致的心肌损伤后的一类特异性心肌病,其特征在于心肌细胞的代谢异常和心脏功能的逐渐衰退,临床表现为早期心肌舒张功能受损,晚期心肌收缩功能受损,最终发展为心力衰竭。线粒体是心肌细胞内提供能量的主要细胞器,线粒体动力学是指线粒体进行融合和分裂的动态过程,是线粒体质量控制的重要途径,线粒体动力学在维持线粒体稳态与心脏功能中起着至关重要的作用。调节线粒体分裂的蛋白主要是Drp1及其受体Fis1、MFF、MiD49和MiD51,执行线粒体外膜融合的蛋白为Mfn1/2,内膜融合蛋白为Opa1。本文综述了近期在糖尿病心肌病线粒体动力学方面的系列研究成果:1型与2型糖尿病心肌病的线粒体动力学失衡均表现为分裂增加与融合受阻,前者的分子机制主要是Drp1上调与Opa1下调,后者的分子机制主要为Drp1上调与Mfn1/2下调,线粒体分裂增加和融合受阻可导致线粒体功能障碍,促进糖尿病心肌病的发生、发展。中药单体安石榴苷、丹皮酚和内源性物质褪黑素等活性成分可通过抑制线粒体分裂或促进线粒体融合,改善线粒体功能,减轻糖尿病心肌病症状。本文有助于深入认识线粒体动力学在糖尿病心肌病中的作用及机制,为糖尿病心肌病患者提供基于线粒体动力学的新治疗方法和干预策略。

Dear Editor,We read with great interest the recently published article titled“Observation of peripheral refraction in myopic anisometropia in young adults”by Du et al[1].The study conducted at the InEye Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM provides valuable insights into the relationship between anisometropia and peripheral refraction in myopic young *** commend the authors for their thorough investigation and adherence to ethical *** the study contributes significantly to our understanding of myopic anisometropia,we would like to draw attention to some limitations that merit consideration for a comprehensive interpretation of the findings.
