Altered expression of cytochrome P450 and possible correlation with preneoplastic changes in early stage of rat hepatocarcinogenesis

Aim: Correlation of cytochrome P450 (CYPs) with preneoplastic changes in the early stage of hepatocarcinogenesis is still unclear. To detect the expression of carcinogen-metabolizing related microsomal P450 enzymes, namely the CYP1 Al, CYP1A2. CYP2.1/2. CYP2.1, and CYP3A, we performed the medium-term bioas-say of Ito's model in Sprague-Dawley rats. Methods: The amount and activity of CYP were assessed by biochemical and immunohistochemical methods in week 8. The correlation between CYP expression and microsomal oxidative stress was investigated by comparing the generation of microsomal lipid peroxidation in the presence or absence of specific CYP inhibitor. Results: In the DEN-2.AAF and 2.AAF alone groups, the expression of CYP1 Al and CYP2.1 were up-regulated and the expression of CYP2.1/2.and CYP1A2.were quite the contrary. Strong staining of CYP2.1 and CYP2.1/2.was found around the centrolobular vein and weak staining in the altered hepatic foci revealed by immunohistochemical procedure. There was no significant change in the activity of CYP3A among the 4 groups. Altered hepatic tissue bore more microsomal NADPH (nicotinamide adenine dimucleotide phosphate,reduced form)-dependent lipid peroxidation than normal tissue. And the difference among the 4 groups disappeared when CYP2.1 was inhibited. More microsomal lipid peroxidation was generated when incubated with CYP1A inhibitor a-naphthoflavone. Conclusion: CYP altered their expression levels and these alterations can play important roles in the alteration of cell redox status of preneoplastic tissue in the early stage of hepatocarcinogenesis.

A nanostructured surface layer was fabricated in a quenched and tempered 0.4C-lCr low alloy steel by ultrasonic particulate peening technique. The microstructure of the nanocrystalline surface layer was characterized by means of TEM and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Experimental results reveal that both cementite and ferrite nanocrystals with an average size of 5 nm were formed in the surface layer of the steel, phase transformation of austenite and dissolution of cementite maybe occur in the process of ultrasonic paniculate peening.

AIM:To examine the disparities in macular retinal vascular density between individuals with connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease(CTD-ILD)and healthy controls(HCs)by optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)and to investigate the changes in microvascular density in abnormal ***:For a retrospective case-control study,a total of 16 patients(32.eyes)diagnosed with CTD-ILD were selected as the ILD *** 16 healthy volunteers with 32.eyes,matched in terms of age and sex with the patients,were recruited as control *** macular retina’s superficial retinal layer(SRL)and deep retinal layer(DRL)were examined and scanned using OCTA in each individual *** densities of retinal microvascular(MIR),macrovascular(MAR),and total microvascular(TMI)were calculated and *** in retinal vascular density in the macular region were analyzed using three different segmentation methods:central annuli segmentation method(C1-C6),hemispheric segmentation method[uperior right(SR),superior left(SL),inferior left(IL),and inferior right(IR)],and Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(ETDRS)methods[superior(S),inferior(I),left(L),and right(R)].The data were analyzed using Version 9.0 of GraphPad prism and Pearson ***:The OCTA data demonstrated a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)in macular retinal microvessel density between the two ***,in the SRL and DRL analyses,the ILD group exhibited significantly lower surface density of MIR and TMI compared to the HCs group(P<0.05).Furthermore,using the hemispheric segmentation method,the ILD group showed notable reductions in SL,SR,and IL in the superficial retina(P<0.05),as well as marked decreases in SL and IR in the deep retina(P<0.05).Similarly,when employing the ETDRS method,the ILD group displayed substantial drops in superficial retinal S and I(P<0.05),along with notable reductions in deep retinal L,I,and R(P<0.05).In the central annuli segmentation m

The development of efficient perovskite light-emitting diodes(PeLEDs)relies strongly on the fabrication of perovskite films with rationally designed structures(grain size,composition,surface,etc.).Therefore,an understanding of structure-performance relationships is of vital importance for developing high-performance perovskite devices,particularly for devices with in-situ fabricated perovskite nanocrystal *** this study,we reveal the vertical structure of an in-situ fabricated quasi-two-dimensional perovskite *** combining time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry,energy dispersive spectroscopy,grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(GIWAXS),and low-temperature photoluminescence spectra,we illustrate that the resulting in-situ fabricated DPPA_(2.Cs_(n-1)Pb_(n)(Br_(0.3)I_(0.7))_(3n+1)(DPPA^(+):3,3-diphenylpropylammonium)film has a gradient structure with a very thin layer of ligands on the surface,predominantly small-n domains at the top,and predominantly large-n domains at the bottom owing to the solubility difference of the *** addition,GIWAXS measurements show that the domain of n=2.on the top layer has an ordered in-plane *** on the understanding of the film structure,we developed an in-situ fabrication process with ligand exchange to achieve efficient pure red PeLEDs at 638 nm with an average external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 7.4%.The optimized device had a maximum luminance of 62. cd/m^(2. with a peak EQE of 9.7%.

OsPRMT6a-mediated arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 regulates jasmonate signaling and spikelet development in rice
