Changes in rheumatoid arthritis under ultrasound before and after sinomenine injection

Calculation on phase diagrams of polyetherimide/ N,N-dimethylacetamide/H2O-BuOH casting system and their relevance to membrane performances

The ternary phase diagrams of polyetherimide （PEI）/N,N-dimethylacetamide （DMAc） with H2O and BuOH as non-solvent were simulated using solubility parameter and Flory-Huggins theory. The phase diagrams show that 5.5% H2O/BuOH system containing 5% BuOH and 0.5% H2O or 6.5% H2O/BuOH system containing 6.2% BuOH and 0.3% H2O is required to induce liquid- liquid demixing for 20 wt-% PEI/DMAc casting solution. Therefore, BuOH can enhance the phase separation of the PEI casting solution and hereby induce higher porosity of the membrane, and the diffusion of BuOH into the water coagulation bath causes larger pore size easily compared with DMAc. Our predictions that the membrane pure water flux first increases then decreases, and the rejection ratio of bovine serum albumin decreases with the increasing concentration of BuOH were validated by the experiments using the prepared membranes.

Purpose–The purpose of this paper is to develop a proof-of-concept(POC)Forward Collision Warning(FWC)system for the motorcyclist,which determines a potential clash based on time-to-collision and trajectory of both the detected and ego vehicle(motorcycle).Design/methodology/approach–This comes in three ***,time-to-collision value is to be calculated based on low-cost camera video ***,the trajectory of the detected vehicle is predicted based on video data in the 2 D pixel ***,the trajectory of the ego vehicle is predicted via the lean direction of the motorcycle from a low-cost inertial measurement unit ***–This encompasses a comprehensive Advanced FWC system which is an amalgamation of the three approaches mentioned ***,to predict time-to-collision,nested Kalmanﬁlter and vehicle detection is used to convert image pixel matrix to relative distance,velocity and time-to-collision ***,for trajectory prediction of detected vehicles,a few algorithms were compared,and it was found that long short-term memory performs the best on the data *** lastﬁnding is that to determine the leaning direction of the ego vehicle,it is better to use lean angle measurement compared to riding pattern classiﬁ***/value–The value of this paper is that it provides a POC FWC system that considers time-to-collision and trajectory of both detected and ego vehicle(motorcycle).

Small cell lung cancer(SCLC),a highly aggressive malignancy,is rapidly at an extensive stage once diagnosed and is one of the leading causes of death from *** the past decade,the treatment of SCLC has largely remained unchanged,and chemotherapy remains the cornerstone of SCLC *** therapeutic value of adding immune checkpoint inhibitors to chemotherapy for SCLC is low,and only a few SCLC patients have shown a response to immune checkpoint *** tumor cells(CTCs)are tumor cells shed from solid tumor masses into the peripheral circulation and are key to tumor ***-cell sequencing has revealed that the genetic profiles of individual CTCs are highly heterogeneous and contribute to the poor outcome and prognosis of SCLC ***,phenotypic analysis of CTCs may be able to predict the diagnostic significance of new potential targets for metastatic *** this paper,we will discuss in depth the heterogeneity of CTCs in SCLC and the value of CTCs for the diagnosis and prognosis of SCLC and as relevant tumor markers in metastatic SCLC.

Building Extraction from LIDAR Based Semantic Analysis

Extraction of buildings from LIDAR data has been an active research field in recent years. A scheme for building detection and reconstruction from LIDAR data is presented with an object-oriented method which is based on the buildings’ semantic rules. Two key steps are discussed: how to group the discrete LIDAR points into single objects and how to establish the buildings’ semantic rules. In the end, the buildings are reconstructed in 3D form and three common parametric building models (flat, gabled, hipped) are implemented.

Crystal structures of GI.8 Boxer virus P dimers in complex with HBGAs, a novel evolutionary path selected by the Lewis epitope

Human noroviruses （huNoVs） recognize histo-blood group antigens （HBGAs） as attachment factors, in which genogroup （G） I and GII huNoVs use distinct binding interfaces. The genetic and evolutionary relationships of GII huNoVs under selection by the host HBGAs have been well elucidated via a number of structural studies; however, such relationships among GI NoVs remain less clear due to the fact that the structures of HBGA-binding interfaces of only three GI NoVs with similar binding profiles are known. In this study the crystal structures of the P dimers of a Lewis-binding strain, the GI.8 Boxer virus （BV） that does not bind the A and H antigens, in complex with the Lewis b （Le^b） and Ley antigens, respectively, were determined and compared with those of the three previously known GI huNoVs, i.e. GI.1 Nor- walk virus （NV）, GI.2 FUV258 （FUV） and GI.7 TCH060 （TCH） that bind the A/HILe antigens. The HBGA binding interface of BV is composed of a conserved central binding pocket （CBP） that interacts with the β-galactose of the precursor, and a well-developed Le epitope-bind- ing site formed by five amino acids, including three consecutive residues from the long P-loop and one from the S-loop of the P1 subdomain, a feature that was not seen in the other GI NoVs. On the other hand, the H epitope/acetamido binding site observed in the other GI NoVs is greatly degenerated in BV. These data explain the evolutionary path of GI NoVs selected by the poly- morphic human HBGAs. While the CBP is conserved, the regions surrounding the CBP are flexible, providingfreedom for changes. The loss or degeneration of the H epitope/acetamido binding site and the reinforcement of the Le binding site of the GI,8 BV is a typical example of such change selected by the host Lewis epitope.

New Benchmark for Household Garbage Image Recognition

Household garbage images are usually faced with complex backgrounds,variable illuminations,diverse angles,and changeable shapes,which bring a great difficulty in garbage image *** to the ability to discover problem-specific features,deep learning and especially convolutional neural networks(CNNs) have been successfully and widely used for image representation ***,available and stable household garbage datasets are insufficient,which seriously limits the development of research and ***,the state-of-the-art in the field of garbage image classification is not entirely *** solve this problem,in this study,we built a new open benchmark dataset for household garbage image classification by simulating different lightings,backgrounds,angles,and *** dataset is named 30 classes of household garbage images(HGI-30),which contains 18 000 images of 30 household garbage *** publicly available HGI-30 dataset allows researchers to develop accurate and robust methods for household garbage *** also conducted experiments and performance analyses of the state-of-the-art deep CNN methods on HGI-30,which serves as baseline results on this benchmark.

Experimental study on separation of valuable refractory aggregate from investment casting ceramic shell waste

In the present study, a processing technique for recycling investment casting ceramic shell waste was proposed to separate valuable refractory aggregate zircon sand. The microstructure and phase constituents of the shell waste and separation process were investigated. The results show that the characteristics of microstructure and phase constituents of the shell waste can meet the conditions for preferential y separating zircon sand, and zircon sand can be separated by gravity separation on a shaking table. The separated zircon sand has good shape and high purity, and can be used for the production of castings and other applications.

Centennial-scale monsoon collapses during Marine Isotope Stage(MIS)7e detected in a northern Chinese stalagmite record

Occurrence or absence of centennial-scale climatic variability during Marine Isotope Stage(MIS)7e,the first peak interval of the Penultimate Interglacial,remains ambiguous due to the limited available high-resolved ***,we present a decadal-resolved stalagmiteδ^(18)O record from northern China spanning from 242.3 to 236.8 ka BP,covering *** composite KLSδ^(18)O record,integrating this study with the previous record in the same cave,shows a descending trend from TerminationⅢto MIS7e,which follows the increasing Northern Hemisphere summer insolation(NHSI).This observation further emphasizes the important influence of NHSI on the glacial/interglacial *** are more large-amplitude,millennial-to centennial-scale variability occurring during TerminationⅢcompared with MIS7e,implying that ice-sheet decay potentially plays an important role in climatic *** centennial-scale summer monsoon collapses,peaking at~242.1,~240.8,~239.3 and~238.2 ka BP,are detected in our new record,indicating the pervasiveness of the intra-interglacial climatic *** the lack of solar activity and freshwater outbursts data during MIS7e,it is not possible to conclude about the drivers of the identified abrupt climatic *** the dynamic mechanisms of sub-millennial climatic anomalous during early Holocene,we tentatively propose that slowdown of the meridional overturning circulation caused by freshwater fluxes into North Atlantic and/or attenuated solar irradiance is the potential forcing for the abrupt climate events within ***,attenuated solar irradiance could also result in climatic anomalies through low-latitude processes.

Correction of the temperature effect in calibration of a solar radio telescope

This work analyzes the annual fluctuation of the observation data of the mingantu Solar radio Telescope(MST)in S,C and X *** is found that the data vary with local air temperature as the logarithmic attenuation of equipment increases with temperature and frequency.A simplified and effective calibration method is proposed,which is used to calibrate the MST data in 2018-2020,while the correction coefficients are calculated from data in *** S,C and X bands,the root mean square errors of one polarization are 2.7,5.7 and 20 sfu,and the relative errors are 4%,6%and 8%*** calibration of MUSER and SBRS spectra is also *** relative errors of MUSER at 1700 MHz,SBRS at 2800 MHz,3050 MHz and 3350 MHz are 8%,8%,11%and 10%*** found that several factors may affect the calibration accuracy,especially at *** method is expected to work for other radio telescopes with similar design.
