Due to the tight coupling between the cyber and physical sides of a cyber-physical power system(CPPS),the safe and reliable operation of CPPSs is being increasingly impacted by cyber *** situation poses a challenge to traditional security defense systems,which considers the threat from only one side,i.e.,cyber or *** cope with cyberattacks,this paper reaches beyond the traditional one-side security defense systems and proposes the concept of cyber-physical coordinated situation awareness and active defense to improve the ability of *** example of a regional frequency control system is used to show the validness and potential of this ***,the research framework is presented for studying and implementing this ***,key technologies for cyber-physical coordinated situation awareness and active defense against cyber-attacks are introduced.

The locking plate and percutaneous crossing metallic screws and crossing absorbable screws have been used clinically to treat intra-articular calcaneal fractures, but little is known about the biomechanical differences between them. This study compared the biomechanical stability of calcaneal fractures fixed using a locking plate and crossing screws. Three-dimensional finite-element models of intact and fractured calcanei were developed based on the CT images of a cadaveric sample. Surgeries were simulated on models of Sanders type III calcaneal fractures to produce accurate postoperative models fixed by the three implants. A vertical force was applied to the superior surface of the subtalar joint to simulate the stance phase of a walking gait. This model was validated by an in vitro experiment using the same calcaneal sample. The intact calcaneus showed greater stiffness than the fixation models. Of the three fixations, the locking plate produced the greatest stiffness and the highest von Mises stress peak. The micromotion of the fracture fixated with the locking plate was similar to that of the fracture fixated with the metallic screws but smaller than that fixated with the absorbable screws. Fixation with both plate and crossing screws can be used to treat intra-articular calcaneal fractures. In general, fixation with crossing metallic screws is preferable because it provides sufficient stability with less stress shielding.

In this study, a porous inserted regenerative thermal oxidizer （PRTO） system was developed for a 125 kW industrial copper-melting furnace, due to its advantages of low NOr emissions and high radiant efficiency. Zirconium dioxide （ZrOz） ce- ramic foams were placed into the combustion zone of a regenerative thermal oxidizer （RTO）. Different performance characteris- tics of the RTO and PRTO systems, including pressure drop, temperature distribution, emissions, and energy efficiency, were evaluated to study the effects of the porous inserts on non-premixed CH4 combustion. It was found that the PRTO system achieved a significant reduction in the NOx emission level and a fuel saving of approximately 30% compared to the RTO system. It is most suitable for a lean combustion process at an equivalence ratio 〈0.4 with NOx and CO emission levels within 0.002%~）.003% and 0.001%q3.002%, respectively.

We consider the dynamics of planar fast-slow systems near generic transcritical type canard point. By using geometric singular perturbation theory combined with the recently developed blow-up technique, the existence of canard cycles, relaxation oscillations and solutions near the attracting branch of the critical manifold is established. The asymptotic expansion of the parameter for which canard exists is obtained by a version of the Melnikov method.

This article solved the asymptotic solution of a singularly perturbed boundary value problem with second order turning point, encountered in the dissipative equilibrium vector field of the coupled convection disturbance kinetic equations under the constrained filed and the gravity. Using the matching of asymptotic expansions, the formal asymptotic solution is constructed. By using the theory of differential inequality the uniform validity of the asymptotic expansion for the solution is proved.

The eye-tracking has been widely used in multiple discipline studies in recent ***,most of the studies focused on the analysis for static images or text but less for highly interactive operation *** addition,the affective computing rose and development in recent years have changed completely the design of thinking pattern for the human-computer ***,this study hopes to integrate the affective computing into the 3D guide system which was developed for the real campus through the eye-tracking *** analysing user’s gaze position and recognising attention emotion are according to the interest region which is stetted into the environment,and shows the feedback content corresponds to the area and the *** the most intuitive gaze analysis,the operation burden can be reduced and the user’s interactive experience can be improved to achieve intuitive and user-friendly *** results can also apply for medical therapy on human attention training.

Iterative coupled methods are widely used in multi-fidelity simulation of rotating components due to the simple implementation,which iteratively eliminates the errors between the computational fluid dynamics models and approximate characteristic ***,the convergence and accuracy of the iterative coupled method are trapped in characteristic *** particular,iterative steps increase sharply as the operation point moves away from the design *** address these problems,this paper developed an auxiliary iterative coupled method that introduces the static-pressure-auxiliary characteristic maps and modification factor of mass flow into the component-level *** developed auxiliary method realized the direct transfer of static pressure between the high-fidelity models and the component-level ***-fidelity simulations of the throttle characteristics were carried out using both the auxiliary and traditional iterative coupled methods,and the simulation results were verified using the experimental ***,the consistency between the auxiliary and traditional iterative coupled methods was ***,multi-fidelity simulations of the speed and altitude characteristics were also *** auxiliary and traditional iterative coupled methods were evaluated in terms of convergence speed and *** evaluation indicated that the auxiliary iterative coupled method significantly reduces iterative steps by approximately 50%at the near-choked *** general,the auxiliary iterative coupled method is preferred as a development of the traditional iterative coupled method in the near-choked state,and the combined auxiliary-traditional iterative coupled method provides support for successful multi-fidelity simulation in far-off-design conditions.

Naphthalene decomposition in a DC corona radical shower discharge

The naphthalene decomposition in a corona radical shower discharge (CRS) was investigated, with attention paid to the influences of voltage and initial naphthalene density. The OH emission spectra were investigated so as to know the naphthalene decomposing process. The by-products were analyzed and a decomposing theory in discharge was proposed. The results showed that higher voltage and relative humidity were effective on decomposition. The initial concentration affected the decomposing efficiency of naphthalene. When the initial naphthalene density was 17 mg/m3, the decomposition rate was found to be 70% under 14 kV. The main by-products were carbon dioxide and water. However, a small amount of carbonic oxide, 1,2-ethanediol and acetaldehyde were found due to the incomplete oxidization.
