This paper investigates the homogeneity of United States aircraft reconnaissance data and the impact of these data on the homogeneity of the tropical cyclone(TC)best track data for the seasons 1949-1987 generated by the China Meteorological Administration(CMA).The evaluation of the reconnaissance data shows that the minimum central sea level pressure(MCP)data are relatively homogeneous,whereas the maximum sustained wind(MSW)data show both overestimations and spurious abrupt *** comparisons suggest that both the reconnaissance MCP and MSW were well incorporated into the CMA TC best track *** no spurious abrupt changes were evident in the reconnaissance-related best track MCP data,two spurious changepoints were identified in the remainder of the best-track MCP ***,the influence of the reconnaissance MSWs seems to extend to the best track MSWs unrelated to reconnaissance,which might reflect the optimistic confidence in making higher estimates due to the overestimated extreme wind“observations”.In addition,the overestimation of either the reconnaissance MSWs or the best track MSWs was greater during the early decades compared to later decades,which reflects the important influence of reconnaissance data on the CMA TC best track *** wind-pressure relationship(WPR)used in the CMA TC best track dataset is also evaluated and is found to overestimate the MSW,which may lead to inhomogeneity within the dataset between the aircraft reconnaissance era and the satellite era.

This study investigates the evolution of an extreme anomalous anticyclone(AA)event over Northeast Asia,which was one of the dominant circulation systems responsible for the catastrophic extreme precipitation event in July 2021 in Henan,and further explores the significant impact of this AA on surface temperatures beneath *** results indicate that this AA event over Northeast Asia was unprecedented in terms of intensity and *** AA was very persistent and extremely strong for 10 consecutive days from 13 to 22 July *** long-lived and unprecedented AA led to the persistence of warmer surface temperatures beyond the temporal span of the pronounced 500-hPa anticyclonic signature as the surface air temperatures over land in Northeast Asia remained extremely warm through 29 July ***,the sea surface temperatures in the Sea of Japan/East Sea were extremely high for 30 consecutive days from 13 July to 11 August 2021,persisting well after the weakening or departure of this *** results emphasize the extreme nature of this AA over Northeast Asia in July 2021 and its role in multiple extreme climate events,even over remote ***,possible reasons for this long-lasting AA are explored,and it is suggested to be a byproduct of a teleconnection pattern over extratropical Eurasia during the first half of its life cycle,and of the Pacific-Japan teleconnection pattern during the latter half.

Macroscopic chiral spherulites prepared by hierarchical self-assembly have attracted considerable attention due to their excellent property as chiroptical ***,preparing controllable chiral spherulites in bulk film remains a challenge due to the absent knowledge of the evolution mechanism from the molecule to macroscopic crystal during chiral *** this contribution,chiral macroscopic spherulites were constructed with controllable circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)using enantiomeric tartaric acid and rhodamine B co-assembled with liquid crystal block copolymers,poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(methyl methacrylate)bearing azobenzene group side *** was found that the chiral liquid crystal field induced by exogenous chiral molecules was closely related to the formation of macroscopic chiral ***,the transformation of azobenzene cis-trans isomerization under photo-thermal endows films with adjustable *** facile strategy provides a platform to design large-scale chiral structures for chiroptical switching,encryption,and memory storage materials.

Knowledge graph technology is widely applied in the domain of general knowledge reasoning with an excellent *** fine-grained professional fields,professional knowledge graphs can provide more accurate information in practical industrial *** on an aviation assembly domain-specific knowledge graph,the article constructs a joint knowledge reasoning model,which combines a named entity recognition model and a subgraph embedding learning *** performing knowledge reasoning tasks,the two models vectorize entities,relationships and entity attributes in the same space,so as to share parameters and optimize learning *** knowledge reasoning model,which provides intelligent question answering services,is able to reduce the assembly error rate and improve the assembly *** system can accurately solve general knowledge reasoning problems in the assembly process in actual industrial scenarios of general assembly and component assembly under interference-free ***,this paper compares the proposed knowledge reasoning model based on knowledge representation learning and the question-answering system based on large-scale pre-trained *** the application scenario of system functional testing in general assembly,the joint model attains an accuracy rate of 95%,outperforming GPT with 78%accuracy and enhanced representation through knowledge integration with 71%accuracy.

Conventional static glazing sometimes has poor performance in energy,visual,and thermal *** this thesis,a series of simulations of an office building were done to compare the performance of conventional static glazing,exterior static and kinetic shades,dynamic glazing,and dynamic glazing working together with static or kinetic shades as a combinatorial *** thesis introduced a method for designers to make decisions among multiple shading and glazing options.A scoring system was developed to evaluate the overall ***,visual and thermal performance all had the same *** uses included annual Energy Use Intensity(EUI)and peak cooling loads of the hottest day of the *** performance included maximizing daylight and minimizing glare on the fall equinox *** performance included Predicted Mean Vote(PMV)Index which determined thermal comfort based on occupants’sensations and Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied(PPD)which indicated the levels of thermal discomfort *** prediction was that the combination of dynamic glazing and kinetic shade would have better comprehensive performance and earn higher scores than other options.

Ion and electron motions in the outer electron diffusion region of collisionless magnetic reconnection

Two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations are performed to study the coupling between ion and electron motions in collisionless magnetic *** electron diffusion region(EDR),where the electron motions are demagnetized,is found to have a two-layer structure:an inner EDR near the reconnection site and an outer EDR that is elongated to nearly 10 ion inertial lengths in the outflow *** the inner EDR,the speed of the electron outflow increases when the electrons move away from the X *** the outer EDR,the speed of the electron outflow first increases and then decreases until the electrons reach the boundary of the outer *** the boundary of the outer EDR,the magnetic field piles up and forms a depolarization *** the perspective of the fluid,a force analysis on the formation of electron and ion outflows has also been *** the X line,the electrons are accelerated by the reconnection electric field in the out-of-plane *** the electrons move away from the X line,we find that the Lorentz force converts the direction of the accelerated electrons to the x direction,forming an electron *** electric field forces and electron gradient forces tend to drag the electron *** acceleration along the x direction is caused by the Lorentz force,whereas the pressure gradient force tends to decelerate the ion *** these two terms are important,their effects on ions are almost *** Hall electric field force does positive work on ions and is not *** ions are continuously accelerated,and the ion and electron outflow velocities are almost the same near the depolarization front.

With the depletion of fossil fuels and the demand for high-performance energy storage devices,solidstate lithium metal batteries have received widespread attention due to their high energy density and safety *** them,the earliest developed organic solid-state polymer electrolyte has a promising future due to its advantages such as good mechanical flexibility,but its poor ion transport performance dramatically limits its performance ***,single-ion conducting polymer electrolytes(SICPEs)with high lithium-ion transport number,capable of improving the concentration polarization and inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites,have been proposed,which provide a new direction for the further development of high-performance organic polymer *** view of this,lithium ions transport mechanisms and design principles in SICPEs are summarized and discussed in this *** modification principles currently used can be categorized into the following three types:enhancement of lithium salt anion-polymer interactions,weakening of lithium salt anion-cation interactions,and modulation of lithium ion-polymer *** addition,the advances in single-ion conductors of conventional and novel polymer electrolytes are summarized,and several typical highperformance single-ion conductors are enumerated and analyzed in what way they improve ionic conductivity,lithium ions mobility,and the ability to inhibit lithium ***,the advantages and design methodology of SICPEs are summarized again and the future directions are outlined.

The rapid development of the anti-missile weapon technology brings new challenges to the cooperative penetration strategy solution and the guidance law design for Hypersonic Vehicles(HVs).This paper studies the coordinated game penetration guidance problem for multiple hypersonic vehicles faced with space threat areas.A scheme for seeking cooperative game penetration guidance strategy under safety critical control framework is *** this scheme,a multiHV cooperative game model is proposed in a minimum optimization form which can simplify the solving process and accelerate the computing ***,a second-order control barrier function is developed to transform the implicit nonlinear constraints of the proposed model into linear *** order to obtain better performance of guidance strategy,a composite guidance law under the safety critical control framework is presented to allocate guidance strategies appropriately in the whole *** is shown that the proposed scheme can guarantee successful penetration while avoiding threat ***,a comparative simulation with a two-on-three game is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper,we present a novel initial costates solver for initializing time-optimal trajectory problems in relative motion with continuous low *** proposed solver consists of two primary components:training a Multilayer Perceptron(MLP)for generating reference sequence and Time of Flight(ToF)to the target,and deriving a system of linear algebraic equations for obtaining the initial *** overcome the challenge of generating training samples for the MLP,the backward generation method is proposed to obtain five different training *** training database and sample form are determined by analyzing the input and output correlation using the Pearson correlation *** best-performing MLP is obtained by analyzing the training results with various hyper-parameter combinations.A reference sequence starting from the initial states is obtained by integrating forward with the near-optimal control vector from the output of ***,a system of linear algebraic equations for estimating the initial costates is derived using the reference sequence and the necessary conditions for *** results demonstrate that the proposed initial costates solver improves the convergence ratio and reduce the function calls of the shooting ***,Monte-Carlo simulation illustrates that the initial costates solver is applicable to different initial velocities,demonstrating excellent generalization ability.
