This paper presents a Game-theoretic optimization via Parallel Min-Max Ant System(PMMAS)algorithm is used in practice to determine the Nash equilibrium value to resolve the confusion in choosing appropriate bidders of multi-round procurement problem in software project *** this end,we introduce an approach that proposes:(i)A Game-theoretic model of multiround procurement problem(ii)A Nash equilibrium strategy corresponds to multi-round strategy bid(iii)An application of PSO for the determination of global Nash *** balance point in Nash Equilibrium can help to maintain a sustainable structure not only in terms of project management but also in terms of future *** an alternative of procuring entities subjectively,a methodology to support decision making has been studied using Nash equilibrium to create a balance point on benefit in procurement where buyers and suppliers need multiple rounds of *** goal focus on the balance point in Nash Equilibrium to optimizing bidder selection in multi-round procurement which is the most beneficial for both investors and selected *** PMMAS algorithm is implemented based on MPI(message passing interface)to find the approximate optimal solution for the question of how to choose bidders and ensure a path for a win-win relationship of all participants in the procurement *** also evaluate the speedup ratio and parallel efficiency between our algorithm and other proposed *** the experiment results,the high feasibility and effectiveness of the PMMAS algorithm are verified.

In order to improve performance and robustness of clustering,it is proposed to generate and aggregate a number of primary clusters via clustering ensemble *** clustering ensemble approaches attempt to improve the performance of fuzzy clustering ***,in these approaches,cluster(or clustering)reliability has not paid much attention *** cluster(or clustering)reliability makes these approaches weak in dealing with low-quality base clustering *** this paper,we have utilized cluster unreliability estimation and local weighting strategy to propose a new fuzzy clustering ensemble method which has introduced Reliability Based weighted co-association matrix Fuzzy C-Means(RBFCM),Reliability Based Graph Partitioning(RBGP)and Reliability Based Hyper Clustering(RBHC)as three new fuzzy clustering consensus *** fuzzy clustering ensemble approach works based on fuzzy cluster unreliability *** unreliability is estimated according to an entropic criterion using the cluster labels in the entire *** do so,the new metric is dened to estimate the fuzzy cluster unreliability;then,the reliability value of any cluster is determined using a Reliability Driven Cluster Indicator(RDCI).The time complexities of RBHC and RBGP are linearly proportional with thnumber of data *** and robustness of the proposed method are experimentally evaluated for some benchmark *** experimental results demonstrate efciency and suitability of the proposed method.

Life cycle of glaciers in the Himalayan region has notably changed due to the climatic variability since last few decades. Glaciers across the world and specially the Himalayan glaciers have shown large scale degeneration in the last few decades. Himalayan glaciers serve as an important fresh water resource for the downstream communities, who are dependent on this water for domestic and other purposes. Therefore, glacier shrinkage and the associated hydrological changes pose a significant problem for regional-scale water budgets and resource management. These issues necessitate the regular and rigorous monitoring of the wastage pattern of the Himalayan glaciers in field and using satellite remote sensing data. In this work, we report rapid and enhanced degeneration of the frontal part of the Kangriz glacier, Jammu and Kashmir(J & K), in terms of surface melting, debris cover, snout characteristics and meltwater discharge. Ablation data acquired during 2016-2017 shows the average lowering of the frontal part of the glacier to be ~148 ± 34 cm, one-third of which was found to have occurred within a 13 day time period in September, 2017. Also, the quantum of ice melt was found to be inversely influenced(r =-0.84) by the debris thickness. 15 day meltwater discharge measurement revealed its strong relationship with snout disintegration pattern, evidenced twice during the said time period. Volume of water discharged from the glacier was estimated to be 7.91×10~6 m^3 for the measurement duration. Also, mean daily discharge estimated for the 15 days interval showed good positive correction(r = 0.78) with temperature indicating the direct dependency of the former on land surface temperature conditions of the region. Besides the lowering and discharge observations, the frequent ice-block break-offs at the glacier snout further enhance its overall drastic degeneration. The Forest Department in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India developed Forest Management Information System (FMIS) for achieving organizational goals of improved financial and human resource management, improvement in the management of forests and wildlife, and for achieving responsive administration. This paper, based on field research, presents an assessment of the dynamics of FMIS in organizational context for a better understanding of such systems in forestry organizations. The paper also investigates the success of FMIS in assisting decision makers in achieving organizational goals. Based on the knowledge developed during the course of the study, key learning elements have been highlighted for the benefit of the stakeholders in information systems in forest sector.

This research aims at exploring the differences in the effects of environment on entrepreneurship growth between state-owned enterprises and private businesses. Through executive investigation, reasons are provided for better performance of private businesses. Environmental factors, including economic, legal, technological, cultural and social factors, which influence entrepreneurship growth, are examined to determine differences between state-owned enterprise and private business executives. It is found that the methods of executive assignment to managerial posts determine executives＇ effort towards entrepreneurship.

In the present work,free vibration and buckling analyses of sandwich plates with various functionally graded foam cores are carried *** cores are assumed to be made of metal,and three different configurations of the porous distribution in the core layer are taken into *** carry out a comparative study between the distributions of pores in the core foam,the mass of foam in all three cases is kept the *** vibration and buckling behaviors of skew plates are also analyzed as a part of the current *** principle of minimization of potential energy and Hamilton’s principle are used for the derivation of the governing equations,while a C-0 finite element-based higher-order zigzag formulation is developed to solve the free vibration and buckling *** influences of gradation laws,boundary conditions,skew angle and geometry of plates are studied in detail for the dynamic and stability *** is found that both the non-dimensional natural frequency and buckling load decrease with the increase in the thickness of the metal foam cores,while they show an increasing trend as the skew angle of the plate increases.

Nationwide trends of hospital admissions for acute cholecystitis in the United States

Background and aims:Acute cholecystitis is a fairly common inpatient diagnosis among the gastrointestinal *** aim of this study was to use a national database of US hospitals to evaluate the incidence and costs of hospital admissions associated with acute ***:We analyzed the National Inpatient Sample Database(NIS)for all patients in which acute cholecystitis(ICD-9 codes:574.00,574.01,574.30,574.31,574.60,574.61 or 575.0)was the principal discharge diagnosis from 1997 to *** NIS is the largest all-payer inpatient database in the United States and contains data from approximately 8 million hospital stays each *** statistical significance of the difference in the number of hospital discharges,lengths of stay and associated hospital costs over the study period was determined by using the Chi-square test for ***:In 1997,there were 149661 hospital admissions with a principal discharge diagnosis of acute cholecystitis,which increased to 215995 in 2012(P<0.001).The mean length of stay for acute cholecystitis decreased by 17% between 1997 and 2012(*** 4.7 days to 3.9 days);(P<0.05).During the same time period,however,mean hospital charges have increased by 195.4% from US$14608 per patient in 1997 to US$43152 per patient in 2012(P<0.001).Conclusion:The number of inpatient discharges related to acute cholecystitis has increased significantly in the United States over the last 16 years,along with a great increase in the associated hospital ***,there has been a gradual decline in the mean length of *** costs associated with acute cholecystitis contribute significantly to the total healthcare *** research on cost-effective evaluation and management of acute cholecystitis is required.
