Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common primary cancer of the liver and has an overall five-year survival rate of less than twenty *** patients with unresectable disease,evolving liver-directed locoregional therapies provide efficacious treatment across the spectrum of disease stages and via a variety of catheter-directed and percutaneous *** of locoregional therapies in HCC may include curative intent in early-stage disease,bridging or downstaging to surgical resection or transplantation for early or intermediate-stage disease,and local disease control and palliation in advanced-stage *** review explores the outcomes of chemoembolization,bland embolization,radioembolization,and percutaneous ablative *** is also given to prognostic factors related to each of the respective techniques,as well as future directions of locoregional therapies for HCC.

Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors(NETs)are globally increasing in prevalence and the liver is the most common site of *** liver metastases(NELM)are heterogeneous in clinical presentation and ***,recent advances in diagnostic techniques and therapeutic strategies have improved the multidisciplinary management of this challenging *** feasible,surgical resection of NELM offers the best long-term *** indications for hepatic resection include performance status acceptable for major liver surgery,grade 1 or 2 tumors,absence of extrahepatic disease,adequate size and function of future liver remnant,and feasibility of resecting>90%of *** therapies including concomitant liver ablation are generally safe when used appropriately and may expand the number of patients eligible for *** patients with synchronous resectable NELM,resection of the primary either in a staged or combined fashion is *** patients who are not surgical candidates,liver-directed therapies such as transarterial embolization,chemoembolization,and radioembolization can provide locoregional control and improve symptoms of carcinoid *** systemic therapy options also exist for patients with advanced or progressive *** research efforts are needed to identify novel biomarkers that will define the optimal indications for and sequencing of treatments to be delivered in a personalized fashion.

Adrenocortical carcinoma(ACC)is a rare malignancy with generally poor outcomes and limited treatment *** surgical resection can be curative for early local disease,most patients present with advanced ACC owing to nonspecific *** those patients,treatment options include systemic chemotherapy and locoregional therapies including radiofrequency ablation and transarterial *** present the first reported case of utilizing yttrium-90 microsphere selective internal radiation therapy(sIRT)in combination with first line EDP-M(Etoposide,Doxorubicin,Cisplatin,Mitotane)chemotherapy and debulking surgical primary tumor resection for treatment of metastatic *** complete radiologic response has been maintained after twelve months with resolution of clinical *** findings prompt the need for further consideration and studies to elucidate the role of sIRT in combination with systemic and surgical treatment for metastatic ACC.

The role of radiology and the radiologist have evolved throughout the coronavirus disease-2019(COVID-19)*** on,chest computed tomography was used for screening and diagnosis of COVID-19;however,it is now indicated for high-risk patients,those with severe disease,or in areas where polymerase chain reaction testing is sparsely *** radiography is now utilized mainly for monitoring disease progression in hospitalized patients showing signs of worsening clinical ***,many challenges at the operational level have been overcome within the field of radiology throughout the COVID-19 *** use of teleradiology and virtual care clinics greatly enhanced our ability to socially distance and both are likely to remain important mediums for diagnostic imaging delivery and patient *** to better utilize of imaging for detection of extrapulmonary manifestations and complications of COVID-19 disease will continue to arise as a more detailed understanding of the pathophysiology of the virus continues to be uncovered and identification of predisposing risk factors for complication development continue to be better ***,unidentified advancements in areas such as standardized imaging reporting,point-of-care ultrasound,and artificial intelligence offer exciting discovery pathways that will inevitably lead to improved care for patients with COVID-19.

Artificial intelligence(AI)has been entwined with the field of radiology ever since digital imaging began replacing films over half a century *** algorithms,ranging from simplistic speech-to-text dictation programs to automated interpretation neural networks,have continuously sought to revolutionize medical *** the number of imaging studies outpacing the amount of trained of readers,AI has been implemented to streamline workflow efficiency and provide quantitative,standardized *** relies on massive amounts of data for its algorithms to function,and with the wide-spread adoption of Picture Archiving and Communication systems(PACs),imaging data is accumulating *** AI algorithms using machine-learning technology,or computer aided-detection,have been able to successfully pool this data for clinical use,although the scope of these algorithms remains *** systems have been developed to assist the workflow of the radiologist through PACs optimization and imaging study triage,however interpretation has generally remained a human responsibility for *** this review article,we will summarize the current successes and limitations of AI in radiology,and explore the exciting prospects that deep-learning technology offers for the future.

To maximize conversion efficiency,photovoltaic(PV)systems generally operate in the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)***,due to the increasing penetra tion level of PV systems,there is a need for more developed control functions in terms of frequency support services and voltage control to maintain the reliability and stability of the power ***,flexible active power control is a manda tory task for grid-connected PV systems to meet part of the grid ***,a significant number of flexible pow er point tracking(FPPT)algorithms have been introduced in the existing *** purpose of such algorithms is to real ize a cost-effective method to provide grid support functional ities while minimizing the reliance on energy storage *** paper provides a comprehensive overview of grid support functionalities that can be obtained with the FPPT control of PV systems such as frequency support and volt-var *** of these grid support functionalities necessitates PV sys tems to operate under one of the three control strategies,which can be provided with FPPT *** three control strate gies are classified as:①constant power generation control(CP GC),②power reserve control(PRC),and③power ramp rate control(PRRC).A detailed discussion on available FPPT algo rithms for each control strategy is also *** paper can serve as a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art FPPT algorithms that can equip PV systems with various grid support functionalities.
