Alzheimer's disease is characterized by deposition of amyloid-β,which forms extracellular neuritic plaques,and accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau,which aggregates to form intraneuronal neurofibrillary tangles,in the *** NLRP3 inflammasome may play a role in the transition from amyloid-βdeposition to tau phosphorylation and *** NLRP3 is primarily found in brain microglia,and tau is predomin.ntly located in neurons,it has been suggested that NLRP3 expressed by microglia indirectly triggers tau phosphorylation by upregulating the expression of pro-inflammatory ***,we found that neurons also express NLRP3 in vitro and in vivo,and that neuronal NLRP3 regulates tau *** biochemical methods,we mapped the min.mal NLRP3 promoter and identified FUBP3 as a transcription factor regulating NLRP3 expression in *** primary neurons and the neuroblastoma cell line Neuro2A,FUBP3 is required for endogenous NLRP3 expression and tau phosphorylation only when amyloid-βis *** the brains of aged wild-type mice and a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease,FUBP3 expression was markedly increased in cortical *** analysis suggested that FUBP3 plays a role in neuron-mediated immune *** also found that FUBP3 trimmed the 5′end of DNA fragments that it bound,implying that FUBP3 functions in stress-induced *** findings suggest that neuronal NLRP3 may be more directly involved in the amyloid-β-to–phospho-tau transition than microglial NLRP3,and that amyloid-βfundamentally alters the regulatory mechanism of NLRP3 expression in *** that FUBP3 was only expressed at low levels in young wild-type mice and was strongly upregulated in the brains of aged mice and Alzheimer's disease mice,FUBP3 could be a safe therapeutic target for preventing Alzheimer's disease progression.

Defects-rich heterointerfaces integrated with adjustable crystalline phases and atom vacancies,as well as veiled dielectric-responsive character,are instrumental in electromagnetic *** methods,however,constrain their delicate ***,an innovative alternative is proposed:carrageenan-assistant cations-regulated(CACR)strategy,which induces a series of sulfides nanoparticles rooted in situ on the surface of carbon *** unique configuration originates from strategic vacancy formation energy of sulfides and strong sulfides-carbon support interaction,benefiting the delicate construction of defects-rich heterostructures in M_(x)S_(y)/carbon composites(M-CAs).Impressively,these generated sulfur vacancies are firstly found to strengthen electron accumulation/consumption ability at heterointerfaces and,simultaneously,induct local asymmetry of electronic structure to evoke large dipole moment,ultimately leading to polarization coupling,i.e.,defect-type interfacial ***“Janus effect”(Janus effect means versatility,as in the Greek two-headed Janus)of interfacial sulfur vacancies is intuitively confirmed by both theoretical and experimental investigations for the first ***,the sulfur vacancies-rich heterostructured Co/Ni-CAs displays broad absorption bandwidth of 6.76 GHz at only 1.8 mm,compared to sulfur vacancies-free CAs without any dielectric *** defects-rich heterostructures,this one-pot CACR strategy may steer the design and development of advanced nanomaterials,boosting functionality across diverse application domains beyond electromagnetic response.

This study presents a breakthrough in flexible strain sensor technology with the development of an ultrahigh sensitivity and wide-range sensor,addressing the critical challenge of reconciling sensitivity with measurement *** by the structure of bamboo slips,we introduce a novel approach that utilises liquid metal to modulate the electrical pathways within a cracked platinum fabric *** resulting sensor demonstrates a gauge factor greater than 108 and a strain measurement capability exceeding 100%.The integration of patterned liquid metal enables customisable tuning of the sensor’s response,while the porous fabric structure ensures superior comfort and air permeability for the *** design not only optimises the sensor’s performance but also enhances the electrical stability that is essential for practical *** systematic investigation,we reveal the intrinsic mechanisms governing the sensor’s response,offering valuable insights for the design of wearable strain *** sensor’s exceptional performance across a spectrum of applications,from micro-strain to large-strain detection,highlights its potential for a wide range of real-world uses,demonstrating a significant advancement in the field of flexible electronics.

Identifying the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complex precatalysts during electrocatalytic oxygen evolution

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Using first-principles calculations,we predict that a single C_(2)H_(4) or C_(5)H_(5) molecule can form a stable complex with two rare earth metals such as La,Eu,and *** La_(2)C_(2)H4 complex then absorbs up to sixteen hydrogen molecules,reaching a gravimetric storage capacity of 9.5wt%by adding a rare-earth metal atom,The results show that Eu-4f electrons have little impact on the hydrogen *** nature of bonding between Eu and H_(2) is due to the hybridization of Eu-5d with the H-1s orbital.

A New Cooperative Distributed MPC Method Based on Reduction and Classification

To decrease the overlarge calculation induced by the centralized processing,a new cooperative distributed Model predictive control(MPC)method is proposed for large-scale systems with coupled *** and classification are investigated by defining the influence degree to reduce the whole system and then to classify the reduced system into several subsystem *** groups are mutually decoupled,while there is relativity between these subsystems comprised in the same ***/cooperative and distributed MPC algorithms for each group are implemented to ensure the feasibility and the stability of the whole ***,for practical applications,the finite times interactive control strategy between different groups is adopted to compensate information loss brought by the reduced subsystem and realize the global cooperative distributed *** algorithm significantly decreases the computational load,has better control *** are given to illustrate the effectiveness of these developed algorithms.

Liquid leakage of pipeline networks not only results in considerableresource wastage but also leads to environmental pollution and ecological *** response to this global issue, a bioinspired superhydrophobic thermoplastic polyurethane/carbon nanotubes/graphene nanosheets flexible strain sensor (TCGS) hasbeen developed using a combination of micro-extrusion compression molding andsurface modification for real-time wireless detection of liquid leakage. The TCGSutilizes the synergistic effects of Archimedean spiral crack arrays and micropores,which are inspired by the remarkable sensory capabilities of scorpions. This designachieves a sensitivity of 218.13 at a strain of 2%, which is an increase of 4300%. Additionally, it demonstrates exceptional durability bywithstanding over 5000 usage cycles. The robust superhydrophobicity of the TCGS significantly enhances sensitivity and stability indetecting small-scale liquid leakage, enabling precise monitoring of liquid leakage across a wide range of sizes, velocities, and compositionswhile issuing prompt alerts. This provides critical early warnings for both industrial pipelines and potential liquid leakage scenariosin everyday life. The development and utilization of bioinspired ultrasensitive flexible strain sensors offer an innovative and effectivesolution for the early wireless detection of liquid leakage.

Hybrid Local-global Power-sharing Scheme for Droop-free Controlled Microgrids

The droop-free control adopted in microgrids has been designed to cope with global power-sharing goals,i.e.,sharing disturbance mitigation among all controllable assets to even their ***,limited by neighboring communication,the time-consumin. peer-to-peer coordination of the droopfree control slows down the nodal convergence to global consensus,reducing the power-sharing efficiency as the number of nodes *** this end,this paper first proposes a local power-sharing droop-free control scheme to contain disturbances within nearby nodes,in order to reduce the number of nodes involved in the coordination and accelerate the convergence speed.A hybrid local-global power-sharing scheme is then put forward to leverage the merits of both schemes,which also enables the autonomous switching between local and global power-sharing modes according to the system *** guidance for key control parameter designs is derived via the optimal control methods,by optimizing the power-sharing distributions at the steady-state consensus as well as along the dynamic trajectory to *** system stability of the hybrid scheme is proved by the eigenvalue analysis and Lyapunov direct ***,simulation results validate that the proposed hybrid local-global power-sharing scheme performs stably against disturbances and achieves the expected control performance in local and global power-sharing modes as well as mode ***,compared with the classical global power-sharing scheme,the proposed scheme presents promising benefits in convergence speed and scalability.

Improved Differential and Linear Active S-Boxes Search Techniques for Feistel Type Ciphers

We propose improved differential and linear active S-boxes search techniques for Feistel type ciphers. We give a uniform representation of Feistel type structures which can benefit the analysis of differential propagation. By analyzing the properties of Feistel type environment, we present some important observations of differential propagation and propose a notion of equivalent state set which can narrow down the search space noticeably. We present a practical algorithm to improve the search of active S-boxes for Feistel type ciphers. It is basically a Viterbi search operating on equivalent state set and also adopts the pruning mechanism. Our experimental results show that the improved algorithm have advantages in respect to memory and time complexities, and it can be applied efficiently to Feistel cipher with large blocks. The search program can be implemented in normal PC, which will be more practical and useful for the designers and cryptanalysts.
