This study attempts to develop a reproducible thin-film formation technique called vacuum-free(VF)lamin.tion,which transfers thin films using elastomeric polymer-based lamin.ting ***,by controlling the interface characteristics of the mediator based on the work of adhesion,VF lamin.tion is successfully performed for various thicknesses(from 20 to 240 nm)of a conjugated photoactive material composed of poly[(2,6-(4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl-3-fluoro)thiophen-2-yl)-benz.[1,2-b:4,5-bʹ]dithiophene))-alt-(5,5-(1ʹ,3ʹ-di-2-thienyl-5ʹ,7ʹ-bis(2-ethylhexyl)benz.[1ʹ,2ʹ-c:4ʹ,5ʹ-cʹ]dithiophene-4,8-dione)](a polymer donor)and 2,2ʹ-((2z.2ʹz.-((12,13-bis(2-butyloctyl)-3,9-diundecyl-12,13-dihydro-[1,2,5]thiadiaz.lo[3,4-e]thieno[2ʹʹ,3ʹʹ:4ʹ,5ʹ]thieno[2ʹ,3ʹ:4,5]pyrrolo[3,2-g]thieno[2ʹ,3ʹ:4,5]thieno[3,2-b]indole-2,10-diyl)bis(methanylylidene))bis(5,6-difluoro-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-2,1-diylidene))dimalononitrile(a nonfullerene acceptor).Interestingly,the organic photovoltaic and photodetecting applications,prepared by the VF lamin.tion process,showed superior performance compared to those of devices prepared by conventional *** is due to the overturned surface morphology,which led to enhanced charge transport ability and blocking of the externally injected ***,the reproducible VF lamin.tion process,exploiting an adhesion-based elastomeric polymer mediator,is a promising thin-film formation technique for developing efficient next-generation organic optoelectronic materials consistent with the solution process.

Developing efficient and durable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts is one of the most important issues for the commercializ.tion of seawater electrolysis,but it remains ***,we report a CeO_(2)-CoP nanoneedle array catalyst loaded on Ti mesh(CeO_(2)-CoP/TM)with workfunction-induced directional charge transport *** CeO_(2)-CoP/TM catalyst showed superior HER catalytic activity and stability,with over potentials of 41 and 60 mV to attain 10 mA cm^(-2),in 1 M KOH and 1 M KOH+seawater electrolyte,*** results and theoretical calculations reveal that the work function drives the charge transfer from CeO_(2)to CoP,which effectively balances the electronic density of CoP and CeO_(2),optimiz.s the d-band center,and accelerates the water activation kinetics,thus enhancing the HER *** solar-driven water electrolysis device displays a high and stable solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 19.6%.This study offers a work function-induced directional charge transport strategy to design efficient and durable catalysts for hydrogen production.

The earth-abundant and robust alumin.m ferrite,AlFeO_(3)(AFO),is mainly studied in the context of ***,we demonstrate that AFO can be used as a stable solar absorber in photoelectrochemical cells for solar water splitting,exhibiting attractive *** is the first report on the photoelectrochemical activity of *** thin-film photoelectrodes prepared by solution-processing methods are composed of vertically oriented thin nanosheets,featuring the rhombohedral symmetry(R3c)and n-type *** as-prepared AFO photoanodes generate a photocurrent density of+0.78 mA·cm^(-2) at 1.23 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE)with the photocurrent _(onset) potential(U_(onset))close to the flat band potential of 0.5 V *** in the presence of hole ***,the U_(onset) of AFO for solar water splitting coincides with the flat band potential as well,which is rare in n-type inorganic *** also report other properties of AFO associated with photoelectrochemical *** films exhibit a band gap energy of 2.31 eV and positive band edges with low ***,the carrier lifetimes in AFO films are up to millisecond timescales under the mediation of defect *** on the photoelectrochemical behavior and optoelectronic properties,we believe that AFO has great potential for application in photoelectrochemical cells.

A novel triaxial vibration method is developed for the real-time characteriz.tion of the solid particle siz. distribution(PsD)in pneumatic particulate flow,which is critical for chemical *** this work,the particle-wall collision and friction behaviours were analysed by the time-domain statistical and timefrequency joint methods to narrow the high-frequency response range by the initial experiment of free fall for a single particle,interparticle,and multiple ***,verification experiments of PSD characteriz.tion in pneumatic flow were ***,the quantitative triaxial energy response model that considers the particle siz.,shape,and mass factors were ***,a good agreement of the particle number identification was found between the triaxial vibration energy and mean particle siz. of 150-550μ***,the performance with the best accuracy was focused on a range of 42-43 kHz.in the x-axis and z.axis and 36.8-38.8 kHz.in the ***,the individual particle energy was inversely analysed by the triaxial vibration response within the optimiz.d frequency bands,and the PSD was characteriz.d in real-time by a low error rate,that is,5.2% from the Xz.axis direction of sand(42-43 kHz.and 5.6% from the XYz.axis of glass(30.9-33.9 kHz.46.2-47.2 kHz.38.3-41.3 kHz.for each axis response).Therefore,this research complements the existing approaches for PsD characteriz.tion in particulate multiphase flow.
