Enantioseparation of aminoglutethimide was performed by high-speed counter-current chromatography with a two-phase system composed of ethyl acetate： methanol： water = 10： 1： 9. The lower phase contained 20 mmol/L of carboxymethly-β-cyclodextrin as chiral selector. The enantiomers were separated in 1.2 h and identified by chiral HPLC. This method was very efficient for the chiral preparative separation.

Background: Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy(EUS-FNB) is a widely used modality for acquiring various target samples, but its efficacy in gallbladder masses is unknown. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of EUS-FNB in patients with gallbladder masses. Methods: The study samples were composed of patients from March 2015 to July 2019 who needed to identify the nature of gallbladder masses through EUS-FNB. The outcomes of this study were the adequacy of specimens, diagnostic yields, technical feasibility, and adverse events of the EUS-FNB in gallbladder masses. Results: A total of 27 consecutive patients with a median age of 58 years were included in this study. The 22-gauge FNB needle was feasible in all lesions. The median follow-up period of the patients was 294 days. The specimens sufficient for diagnosis account for 89%(24/27) and 93%(25/27) in cytology and histology, respectively. The overall diagnostic yields for malignancy showed the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy were 95.45% [95% confidence interval(CI): 75.12%-99.76%], 100%(95% CI: 46.29%-10 0%), 10 0%(95% CI: 80.76%-100%), 83.33%(95% CI: 36.48%-99.12%), and 96.30%(95% CI: 80.20%-99.99%), respectively. The subgroup analysis revealed that FNB could obtain sufficient specimens and high diagnostic yields in both gallbladder mass minal pain after the procedure and recovered within one day. Conclusions: EUS-FNB is a reasonable diagnostic tool for the pretreatment diagnosis of patients with gallbladder masses, especially for patients who may miss the opportunity of surgery and need sufficient specimens to identify the pathological type so as to determine chemotherapy regimens. Further largescale studies are needed to confirm our conclusion.

Low-electrode capacitive deionization(FCDI)is an emerging desalination technology with great potential for removal and/or recycling ions from a range of ***,it still suffers from inefficient charge transfer and ion transport kinetics due to weak turbulence and low electric intensity in flow electrodes,both restricted by the current ***,a new tip-array current collector(designated as T-CC)was developed to replace the conventional planar current collectors,which intensifies both the charge transfer and ion transport *** effects of tip arrays on flow and electric fields were studied by both computational simulations and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,which revealed the reduction of ion transport barrier,charge transport barrier and internal *** the voltage increased from 1.0 to 1.5 and 2.0 V,the T-CC-based FCDI system(T-FCDI)exhibited average salt removal rates(ASRR)of 0.18,0.50,and 0.89μmol cm^(-2) min^(-1),respectively,which are 1.82,2.65,and 2.48 folds higher than that of the conventional serpentine current collectors,and 1.48,1.67,and 1.49 folds higher than that of the planar current ***,with the solid content in flow electrodes increased from 1 to 5 wt%,the ASRR for T-FCDI increased from 0.29 to 0.50μmol cm^(-2) min^(-1),which are 1.70 and 1.67 folds higher than that of the planar current ***,a salt removal efficiency of 99.89%was achieved with T-FCDI and the charge efficiency remained above 95%after 24 h of operation,thus showing its superior long-term stability.

Systematicly tuning the porosities of porous materials is crucial for targeted gas mixture separation,yet it remains a longstanding *** a common strategy,altering the phenylene ring count in the organic building units has been exploited to adjust pore apertures in metal organic frameworks （MOFs） and covalent organic frameworks （COFs）,resulting in only a stepwise pore size variation of approximately 2.8?.Unlike MOFs and COFs,the porosities for supramolecular assembly frameworks are highly dependent on the packings of the molecular building units in the *** above strategy cannot be applied to supramolecular assembly frameworks and other strategies are required to adjust pore apertures in supramolecular frameworks,especially to achieve porous materials with the optimal pore size for D2/H2separation （～3?）.Here,we successfully modulate the porosity of supramolecular frameworks of[CoII1+12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]1clusters （L=mono-deprotonated 1-iminoisoindole-3-amine,X=ClO?4or Cl?） by controlling the duration of self-assembly *** simply adjusting the reaction time,we obtain three[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]11+supramolecular frameworks:[CoII12CoIII8（μ3-OH）24（ClO4）L12)]·（Cl）4·（HCO2）7（1）,[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（Cl）]·（ClOI4）4·（Cl）6·（HCO2）·（H2O）10（2）,and[CoI12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（Cl）]·（Cl）11·（H2O）12（3）.The different stacking patterns of the[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]11+clusters in these frameworks lead to significantly varied stabilities and *** 1 exhibits permanent porosity with interconnected channels and maintains stability under harsh *** contrast,compound 2 is nearly nonporous,and compound 3 becomes unstable upon *** pores of compound 1 show higher affinity to D2than H2,and the pore aperture diameter of compound 1 （～3.06?） meets the optimal porosity for D2/***,compound 1 demonstrates moderate D2/H2separation at 77 K (retention time:～7 min/g for D2/H2/Ne （10/10/80 vol%） in a flow of 5 mL

Spherical Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)hollow powders with a mean size of 8.8μm were fabricated as feedstock for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)by *** single-ceramic-layer(SCL)Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBCs and double-ceramic-layer(DCL)Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)/YSZ TBCs with quasicolumnar structure were successfully fabricated by plasma spray-physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD).Tensile and water-quenching tests were applied to evaluate TBCs *** results show that adhesion strength of SCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBCs and DCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)/YSZ TBCs is36.5 MPa and 15.4 MPa,*** delamination of SCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBCs and DCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)/YSZ TBCs in the tensile test takes place at the middle and bottom of Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)layer,respectively,due to relatively lower fracture toughness of Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)*** 40 cycles of water-quenching test,DCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)/YSZ TBC surface keeps relatively intact,while SCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBC surface shows 20%visible destroyed regions,which demonstrates that DCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)/YSZ TBCs have a better thermal shock resistance than SCL Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)*** cracks in the SCL system propagate near thermally grown oxide(TGO)due to thermal mismatch and TGO growing stress,while cracks in the DCL system propagate in the Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)layer due to its relatively lower fracture toughness.

The vertical distribution of an emergent vegetation in wetlands and marshes is generally non-uniform due to the variations of the stem thickness and the leaf *** study focuses on the effect of the varying vertical porosity on the hydrodynamic characteristics of the emergent vegetation *** new governing equation for the emergent vegetation flow with varying vertical porosity is established by applying the poroelastic media flow *** to the movement mechanism of the water flow in the porous media and the experimental data,the best fitted expression of the permeability is established for the emergent vegetation *** velocity distribution is obtained with the finite analytic ***,a flume experiment is performed using truncated cones to simulate the actual vegetation with varying vertical *** calculated velocity distribution is compared with the measured data,which shows that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ***,the influence of the vertical porosity distribution on the vegetation flow characteristics is analyzed *** study can provide a useful reference and technical support for further study of the flow with a complex shape vegetation.
