Purification efficiency of ecological spur dikes for river pollutants in different geometric arrangements:Experiments and numerical modeling

The traditional ecological spur dike is improved,by using the biological fillers such as the plant materials,combined with microorganisms,to obtain a larger water purification *** of the researches on spur dikes focused on the hydrodynamic force and the migration and the diffusion of the pollutants,but not so much on the effects of the spur dike materials and the arrangement parameters on the water purification *** this paper the biological zeolite is used to make ecological spur *** laboratory flume experiment shows that compared with the natural zeolite spur dike,the purification effect of the biological zeolite spur dike is significantly improved,and the average removal rate of the NH3-N is kept at 6.8%after 24 h compared with 3.5%of the natural zeolite spur *** NH3-N removal rates of a single spur dike,the counterpart spur dikes and the staggered spur dikes decrease with the increase of the inlet flow,and the staggered spur dikes have the best purification ***,a numerical model based on the MIKE21 is verified by the experimental results and applied for the Tangjiali Section of the Xutangqiao River in Xinwu District,Wuxi City,Jiangsu *** orthogonal test shows that the length of the spur dike has the most important effect on the interception of pollutants and the purification,followed by the angle of the spur dike and the spacing of the spur dikes has the least important *** geometric arrangement parameters of the ecological spur dike group with the highest efficiency on the pollutant interception and the purification are:60°(angle),6.7 m(length)and 20 m(spacing).

A novel high-Cr CoNi-based superalloy with superior high-temperature microstructural stability, oxidation resistance and mechanical properties

A novel multicomponent high-Cr CoNi-based superalloy with superior comprehensive performance was prepared,and the evaluation of its high-temperature microstructural stability,oxidation resistance,and mechanical properties was conducted mainly using its cast polycrystalline *** results disclosed that the morphology of theγ′phase remained stable,and the coarsening rate was slow during the long-term aging at 900–1000℃.The activation energy forγ′precipitate coarsening of alloy 9CoNi-Cr was(402±51)kJ/mol,which is higher compared with those of CMSX-4 and some other Ni-based and Co-based ***,there was no indica-tion of the formation of topologically close-packed phases during this *** these factors demonstrated the superior microstructural stability of the *** mass gain of alloy 9CoNi-Cr was 0.6 mg/cm^(2) after oxidation at 1000℃ for 100 h,and the oxidation resistance was comparable to advanced Ni-based superalloys CMSX-4,which can be attributed to the formation of a continuous Al_(2)O_(3) protective ***,the compressive yield strength of this cast polycrystalline alloy at high temperatures is clearly higher than that of the conventional Ni-based cast superalloy and the compressive minimum creep rate at 950℃ is comparable to that of the conventional Ni-based cast superalloy,demonstrating the alloy’s good mechanical properties at high *** is partially because high Cr is bene-ficial in improving theγandγ′phase strengths of alloy 9CoNi-Cr.

Effects of ketamine on proinflammatory cytokines and nuclear factor kappaB in polymicrobial sepsis rats

AIM： To explore the effects of ketamine on hemodynamics, plasma proinflammatory cytokine （TNF-α and IL-6） levels and nuclear factor kappa B （NF-κB） activation during polymicrobial sepsis. METHODS： Male Sprague-Dawlay rats were subjected to cecal ligation and puncture （CLP） or sham operation. The rats were randomly assigned into four equal groups： sham CLP group, CLP group, ketamine （KT）Ⅰ group and KTⅡgroup. Thirty minutes before CLP, ketamine （5 mg/kg per hour and 10 mglkg per hour, respectively） was infused continuously through the left femoral vein cannula in KT Ⅰ group or KTⅡgroup. Sham CLP group and CLP group received 0.9% saline only （5 mL/kg per hour）. The right femoral artery was cannulated to monitor mean arterial pressure （MAP） and heart rates （HR）,and draw blood samples. The proinflammatory cytokine （TNF-α and IL-6） levels of plasma were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays （EliSA）. The hepatic NF-κB activation was determined by Western blot and HPIAS 2000 image analysis system. Twenty hours after CLP, the rats were killed by right femoral artery phlebotomization. RESULTS： CLP produced progressive hypotension, and a first increase followed by a decrease in HR. The hypotension was prevented, and the HR was slightly steady in ketamine treated rats. TNF-α levels of plasma reached a peak value at 2 h after CLP. Ketamine （KT Ⅰ group or KTⅡgroup） caused a significant decrease compared with CLP group at 2, 5 and 9 h time points after CLP （14.3 ± 1.9 vs 4.3 ± 0.9, 9.7 ± 1.4 vs 4.3 ± 0.9; 9.3 ± 1.5 vs 4.3 ± 0.9, 8.7 ± 1.4 vs 4.3 ±0.9; 6.0 ± 1.5 vs 5.0 ± 1.7, 5.3 ± 0.8 vs 5.0 ± 1.7; P 〈 0.01, respectively）. The IL-6 levels of plasma firstly ascended and then descended in CLP group, and reached a peak value at 9 h after CLP. Ketamine （KT I group or KTH group） caused a significant decrease compared with CLP group at 5, 9 or 20 h after CLP （135.0 ± 52.6 vs 60.0 ± 16.3, 112.5 ± 52.6 vs 60.0 ± 16.3; 410.0 ± 68.7 vs 62.5 ± 12.5, 250.0 ± 28.0 vs 62.5 ± 12.

Double-layered skeleton of li alloy anchored on 3D metal foam enabling ultralong lifespan of li anode under high rate

The high specific capacity and low negative electrochemical potential of lithium metal anodes(LMAs),may allow the energy density threshold of li metal batteries(LMBs)to be pushed ***,the existing detrimental issues,such as dendritic growth and volume expansion,have hindered the practical implementation of *** three-dimensional frameworks(e.g.,copper and nickel foam),have been regarded as one of the fundamental strategies to reduce the local current density,aiming to extend the Sand'***,the local environment far from the skeleton is almost the same as the typical plane li,due to macroporous space of metal ***,we built a double-layered 3D current collector of li alloy anchored on the metal foam,with micropores interconnected macropores,via a viable thermal infiltration and cooling *** to the excellent electronic and ionic conductivity coupled with favorable lithiophilicity,the li alloy can effectively reduce the nucleation barrier and enhance the li^(+)transportation rate,while the metal foam can role as the primary promotor to enlarge the surface area and buffer the dimensional ***,the li composite anode with hierarchical structure of primary and secondary scaffolds realized the even deposition behavior and minimum volume expansion,outputting preeminent prolonged cycling performances under high rate.

In this paper, we have introduced the concepts of pseudomonotonicity properties for nonlinear transformations defined on Euclidean Jordan algebras. The implications between this property and other P-properties have been studied. More importantly, we have solved the solvability problem of the nonlinear pseudomonotone complementarity problems over symmetric cones.

Depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex of the Dengying Formation in the southwestern Sichuan Basin, SW China: Implications for the Ediacaran microbial mound construction and hydrocarbon exploration

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. Enhancing photoresponsiveness of metal-organic polyhedra by modifying microenvironment

Photoresponsiveness of materials is critical to their tunability and efficiency in terminal *** metal-organic polyhedra(PMOPs)feature intrinsic pores and remote controllability,but aggregation of PMOPs in solid state hampers their photoresponsiveness ***,we report the construction of a new PMOP(Cu_(24)(C_(16)H_(12)N_(2)O_(4))_(12)(C_(18)H_(22)O_(5))12,denoted as MOP-PR-LA),where long alkyl(LA)chains act as the intermolecular poles,propping against adjacent PMOP molecules to create individual microenvironment benefiting the isomerization of photoresponsive(PR)*** ultraviolet(UV)-and visible-light irradiation,MOP-PR-LA is much easier to isomerize than the counterpart MOP-PR without *** propylene adsorption,MOP-PR has a low change of adsorption capacity(9.9%),while that of MOP-PR-LA reaches 58.6%.Density functional theory calculations revealed that PR in the cis state has a negative effect on adsorption,while the trans state of PR favors *** work might open an avenue for the construction of photoresponsive materials with high responsiveness and controllability.

As a critical role in battery systems,polymer binders have been shown to efficiently suppress the lithium polysulfide shuttling and accommodate volume changes in recent ***,preparation processes and safety,as the key criterions for li-S batteries'practical applications,still attract less ***,an aqueous multifunction binder(named PEI-TIC)is prepared via an easy and fast epoxy-amine ring-opening reaction(10 min),which can not only give the sulfur cathode a stable mechanical property,a strong chemical adsorption and catalytic conversion ability,but also a fire safety *** li-S batteries based on the PEI-TIC binder display a high discharge capacity(1297.8 mAh g^(-1)),superior rate performance(823.0 mAh g^(-1)at 2 C),and an ultralow capacity decay rate of 0.035%over more than 800 *** under 7.1 mg cm^(-2)S-loaded,the PEI-TIC electrode can also achieve a high areal capacity of 7.2 mA h g^(-1)and excellent cycling stability,confirming its application ***,it is also noted that TG-FTIR test is performed for the first time to explore the flame-retardant mechanism of polymer *** work provides an economically and environmentally friendly binder for the practical application and inspires the exploration of the flame-retardant mechanism of all electrode components.
