Development of high-power microwave mechanical integrated continuous device

This article introduces a high-power microwave mechanical integrated continuous mining device, which can achieve synchronous cutting of hard rocks by microwave and machinery. The device includes a cutting system, a rotary translation system, a loading system, a high-power microwave system, and a control and monitoring system. The technology of "master-slave follow-up" disc cutter alternating side cutting of rock was proposed, which could improve the effectiveness of rock breaking. The integrated structure of a microwave-cut system was then proposed, and synchronous motion of the microwave-cut system and adjustment of the loading system could be realized. The automatic adjustment technology of the microwave working distance was developed to dynamically control the optimal microwave working distance. The basic functions of the equipment were verified by tests. By comparing the two types of disk cutters, it is found that the master-slave follow-up disk cutter can improve significantly the dust removal effect and rock breaking efficiency in rock breaking process versus the conventional large disc cutter. cutting tests of slate with or without microwave were conducted using a master-slave follow-up disk cutter. The results show that the cutting patterns of slates change from intermittent chunks (without microwave irradiation) to persistent debris (with microwave irradiation), and the cutting speed is significantly improved (170%). The development of the device provides a scientific basis for changing the conventional mining technology of metal mines and realizing the mechanical continuous mining in hard metal mines. Modified constitutive models for Inconel 718 considering current density and temperature in electrically assisted forming process

Electrically Assisted Forming(EAF)technology has obvious advantages in material *** develop an effective constitutive model considering electrical effects,room temperature and electrically assisted quasi-static uniaxial tensile tests were conducted using ultrathin nickelbased superalloy plates with a thickness of 0.25 *** research focused on the two most widely recognized effects:the Joule thermal and the electric athermal *** mechanism of current action can be divided into two scenarios:one considering the Joule thermal effect only,and the other considering both effects *** basic constitutive models,namely the Modified-Hollomon model and the Johnson-cook(J-c)model,were selected to be optimized through the classification of two different situations,and four optimized constitutive models were *** was found that the J-c model with simultaneous consideration of the Joule thermal effect and electric athermal effect had the best prediction effect by comparing the results of these four ***,the accuracy of the optimization model was verified by finite element simulation of the electrically assisted stretching optimization *** results show that the constitutive model can effectively predict the temperature effect caused by the Joule heat effect and the athermal effect of current on the material.

Thermodynamic model for deoxidation of liquid steel considering strong metal-oxygen interaction in the quasichemical model framework

Herein,a thermodynamic model aimed at describing deoxidation equilibria in liquid steel was *** model provides explicit forms of the activity coefficient of solutes in liquid steel,eliminating the need for the minimization of internal Gibbs energy preliminarily when solving deoxidation *** elimination of internal Gibbs energy minimization is particularly advantageous during the coupling of deoxidation equilibrium calculations with computationally intensive approaches,such as computational fluid *** model enables efficient calculations through direct embedment of the explicit forms of activity coefficient in the computing *** proposed thermodynamic model was developed using a quasichemical approach with two key approximations:random mixing of metallic elements(Fe and oxidizing metal) and strong nonrandom pairing of metal and oxygen as nearest *** these approximations,the quasichemical approach yielded the activity coefficients of solutes as explicit functions of composition and temperature without requiring the minimization of internal Gibbs energy or the coupling of separate *** model was successfully applied in the calculation of deoxidation equilibria of various elements(Al,B,c,ca,ce,cr,La,Mg,Mn,Nb,Si,Ti,V,and Zr).The limitations of the model arising from these assumptions were also discussed.

Effects of Andrade and Burgers rheologies on glacial isostatic adjustment modeling in Antarctica

Variations in ice mass deform the Earth and modify its gravity field,a process known as Glacial Isostatic Adjustment(GIA).GIA in Antarctica remains poorly constrained due to the cumulative effect of past and present ice-mass changes,the unknown history of the past ice-mass change,and the uncertainties on the mechanical properties of the *** paper investigates the effect of using Andrade and Burgers viscoelastic rheologies,rather than the commonly used Maxwell rheology,to model GIA-induced deformation in *** Love number and Green's function formalism are used to compute the radial surface displacements and the gravity changes induced by the past and present ice-mass *** consider an Earth model whose elastic properties and radial structure are averaged from the Preliminary Reference Earth Model and two viscosity profiles to account for the recently published results on the present ice-mass *** the three rheological laws affects the temporal response of the Earth differently,leading to smaller discrepancies than those induced by the two viscosity *** differences are the largest between Maxwell and Burgers rheologies during the 100-1000 years following the beginning of the surface-mass *** show that using the Andrade and Burgers rheologies allows the Earth to respond on decennial to centennial time scales,up to 10 m more than *** only the recent ice-mass changes,the deformation rates derived from Burgers and Andrade rheologies are several times larger than those estimated by Maxwell rheology.

Probing the Kinematic Signatures of Planet Formation in the Gas Disk of MWc 480

The disk around MWc 480 has shown multiple substructures in both dust and gas observations,possibly suggesting ongoing planet formation in *** this paper,we explore the gas kinematics of the MWc 480 disk by analyzing the archival Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array observations of^(12)cO(J=2-1),^(13)cO(J=2-1),and c^(18)O(J=2-1).By modeling the line-of-sight velocities,inferred from the Doppler shifts of the emission lines,we are able to decompose the three-dimensional(3D)velocity field of the disk into rotational,radial,and vertical *** analysis reveals the presence of large-scale gas flows in the(r,z)***,we identify potential meridional flows across various heights as traced by all three cO isotopologues in the 80–120 au region,possibly associated with ongoing planet formation activities in this ***,we find upward flows near 200 au for all three cO isotopologues,which may point to the presence of disk winds.

Introduction:To examine the recent trends in child injury mortality in ***:Injury mortality data of 2010–2021 for children and adolescents aged 0–19 years were from the china Health Statistics *** mortality disparities across urban *** locations,gender,and age groups were *** percent change(APc),average annual percent change(AAPc),and their 95%confidence intervals(95%cI)were estiamted usimg Joinpoint regression ***:The age-standardized injury mortality significantly dropped from 21.87 to 9.41 per 100,000 population among children and youth aged 0–19 years during 2010–2021,with an AAPc of−6.7%(95%cI:−8.2%,−5.2%).The urban-rural disparity and gender gap in injury mortality reduced *** 2021,drowning and road traffic crashes were the top two causes of child injury deaths,explaing 31.1%and 27.9%of total injury deaths,*** accounted for 62.3%of injury deaths among infants younger than a ***,the suicide mortality rate rose from 2.16 to 3.42 per 100,000 population between 2010 and 2021 among teenagers aged 15–19 *** analyses yielded similar ***:During 2010–2021,the injury mortality decreased significantly among chinese children and adolescents,and the responding urbanrural disparities narrowed.

Let G be a simple graph and G~σ be the oriented graph with G as its underlying graph and orientation σ.The rank of the adjacency matrix of G is called the rank of G and is denoted by r(G).The rank of the skew-adjacency matrix of G~σ is called the skew-rank of G~σ and is denoted by sr(G~σ).Let V(G)be the vertex set and E(G) be the edge set of *** cyclomatic number of G,denoted by c(G),is equal to |E(G)|-|V(G)|+ω(G),where ω(G) is the number of the components of *** is proved for any oriented graph G~σ that-2c(G)≤sr(G~σ)-r(G)≤2c(G).In this paper,we prove that there is no oriented graph G~σwith sr(G~σ)-r(G)=2c(G)-1,and in addition,there are infinitely many oriented graphs G~σ with connected underlying graphs such that c(G)=k and sr(G~σ)-r(G)=2c(G)-l for every integers k,l satisfying 0 ≤l≤4k and l≠1.
