Biomimetics provides guidance to design and synthesize advanced catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction in microbial fuel cells(MFCs).Herein,jellyfish-inspired Fe clusters on carbon nanotubes connected with CuNC(Fe@CNT@CuNC)were designed and prepared by using zeolitic imidazolate framework(zIF)-8 precursors to imitate the organic texture and function of *** antibacterial effect of Cu^(+)ions depressed the growth of cathode biofilm to ensure rapid mass *** clusters and CuNC connected by CNTs accelerated the electron transfer from Fe to *** optimization of oxygen adsorption was caused by electron redistribution between sites of Fe and ***-like catalysts achieved a half-wave potential of 0.86 V and onset potential of 0.95 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).MFCs gained the maximum power density of 1600 mW·m^(-2. after 500 h *** work provides insights into the special design of advanced catalysts based on bio-inspiration and biomimetics.

To numerically study the impact of total temperature distortion on a transonic compressor with reduced computational costs,a Body-Force Model(BFM)is ***,the interactions between the distorted flow and the compressor are analyzed using full-annulus Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)results and the orbit *** is found that the induced swirl distortion and the mass flux nonuniformity are intensified in the compressor upstream flow field.A correction factor is thus added to the BFM to account for the effect of the induced swirl,which is crucial for the accurate representation of distortion transfer in the ***,steady simulations with large-amplitude 180circumferential total temperature distortion are performed using the developed *** is shown that the distorted compressor map simulated with the BFM matches well with URANS *** circumferential phase shift of total temperature and the generation of the additional total pressure distortion across the rotor are in line with the time-averaged URANS flow *** compressor upstream effects on the distorted inflow can also be exactly *** above-mentioned results demonstrate the BFM developed in this paper can effectively capture the distorted flow features inside the compressor,and significantly reduce the computational costs by five orders of magnitude compared with URANS.

Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)have emerged as promising candidates for safe and high-energy–density solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs).However,concurrently achieving exceptional ionic conductivity and interface compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode presents a significant challenge in the development of high-performance CSEs for *** overcome these challenges,we present a method involving the in-situ polymerization of a monomer within a self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3)zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12.(LLzT)to produce the *** synergy of the continuous conductive LLzT network,well-organized polymer,and their interface can enhance the ionic conductivity of the CSE at room ***,the in-situ polymerization process can also con-struct the integration and compatibility of the solid electrolyte–solid electrode *** synthesized CSE exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 1.117 mS cm^(-1),a significant lithium transference number of 0.62.,and exhibited electrochemical stability up to 5.06 V ***/Li+at 30℃.Moreover,the Li|CSE|LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2. cell delivered a discharge capacity of 105.1 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and 30℃,corresponding to a capacity retention of 61%.This methodology could be extended to a variety of ceramic,polymer electrolytes,or battery systems,thereby offering a viable strategy to improve the electrochemical properties of CSEs for high-energy–density SSLMBs.

The rapid development of 5G/6G and AI enables an environment of Internet of Everything(IoE)which can support millions of connected mobile devices and applications to operate smoothly at high speed and low ***,these massive devices will lead to explosive traffic growth,which in turn cause great burden for the data transmission and content *** challenge can be eased by sinking some critical content from cloud to *** this case,how to determine the critical content,where to sink and how to access the content correctly and efficiently become new *** work focuses on establishing a highly efficient content delivery framework in the IoE *** particular,the IoE environment is re-constructed as an end-edge-cloud collaborative system,in which the concept of digital twin is applied to promote the *** on the digital asset obtained by digital twin from end users,a content popularity prediction scheme is firstly proposed to decide the critical content by using the Temporal Pattern Attention(TPA)enabled Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)***,the prediction results are input for the proposed caching scheme to decide where to sink the critical content by using the Reinforce Learning(RL)***,a collaborative routing scheme is proposed to determine the way to access the content with the objective of minimizing *** experimental results indicate that the proposed schemes outperform the state-of-the-art benchmarks in terms of the caching hit rate,the average throughput,the successful content delivery rate and the average routing overhead.

Anaerobic digestion has been defined as a competitive approach to facilitate the recycling of corn ***,few studies have focused on the role of direct interspecies electron transfer(DIET)pathway in the acidification stage under the addition of different particle sizes of zero-valent iron(zVI).In this study,three types of zVI,namely iron filings,iron powder and nanoscale iron,were investigated,respectively,to enhance its high-value *** in volatile fatty acids(VFAs)and methane(CH4)production associated with the underlyingmechanisms were emphatically *** indicated that the addition of zVI could increase the concentration of VFAs,with the most outstanding performance observed with the use of nanoscale ***,the conversion of propionic acid to acetic acid was driven by adding zVI with no between-group differences in acidizing ***,the substrate was more fully utilized when supplied with iron powder compared with other groups in methanogenic phase,thereby displaying the maximumCH4 yield with a value of 2.3.1 mL/(g total solids(TS)).However,adding nanoscale iron could signally shorten the digestion time(T80),saving 7 days in comparison to the group of iron powder.

To produce paraffin from hydrogenation/deoxygenation of palmitic acid,model compound of bio-oil obtained by hydrothermal liquefaction(HTL)of microalgae has been an attractive focus in recent *** order to avoid energy-intensive separation process of water and bio-oil,it is of importance that deoxygenation upgrading of fatty acids under hydrothermal conditions similar to HTL ***,it is the first time to explore the application of activated carbon(AC)-supported non-noble-metal catalysts,such as Ni,Co,and Mo,and so on,in the hydrothermal hydrogenation/deoxygenation of long-chain fatty acids,and the obtained Ni/AC-H(the Ni/AC was further H_(2.pre-reduced)is one of the best *** addition,it is found that the catalytic activity can be further improved by H_(2.pre-reduction of *** results that are more low valences of nickel and oxygen vacancy can be obtained after H_(2.pre-reduction,thus significant promoting the deoxygenation especially the decarbonylation pathway of fatty *** total alkanes yield can reaches 95.9%at optimal conditions(2.0℃,360 min).This work confirmed that the low-priced AC-supported non-noble-metal catalysts have great potential compared with the noble-metal catalyst,in hydrothermal upgrading of bio-oil.

The continuous growth of the biomedical market highlights the significance of improvement in the ef-ficiency of batch production for protein drug ***,we investigated the effect of polymer-modified Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles on lysozyme(Lys)crystallization at different conditions,using function-alized Fe_(3)O_(4) magnetic nanoparticles(Polymer C@Fe_(3)O_(4))as nucleation *** study revealed that the surface charge density of Polymer C@Fe_(3)O_(4) was highest at a modification mass ratio of Fe_(3)O_(4) to Polymer C is 8∶*** ratio facilitates the augmentation of electrostatic interaction and the promotion of *** adding 15%of the PolymerC@Fe_(3)O_(4) prepared from Fe_(3)O_(4) with an average particle size of 150 nm,the magnetic core lysozyme(M-Lys)crystals with an average particle size of 11.08μm,narrow size distribution,and regular morphology were obtained in a yield of 82.42.within 60 min.
