Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)have emerged as promising candidates for safe and high-energy–density solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs).However,concurrently achieving exceptional ionic conductivity and interface compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode presents a significant challenge in the development of high-performance CSEs for *** overcome these challenges,we present a method involving the in-situ polymerization of a monomer within a self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZT)to produce the *** synergy of the continuous conductive LLZT network,well-organized polymer,and their interface can enhance the ionic conductivity of the CSE at room ***,the in-situ polymerization process can also con-struct the integration and compatibility of the solid electrolyte–solid electrode *** synthesized CSE exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 1.117 mS cm^(-1),a significant lithium transference number of 0.627,and exhibited electrochemical stability up to 5.06 V ***/Li+at 30℃.Moreover,the Li|CSE|LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) cell delivered a discharge capacity of 105.1 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and 30℃,corresponding to a capacity retention of 61%.This methodology could be extended to a variety of ceramic,polymer electrolytes,or battery systems,thereby offering a viable strategy to improve the electrochemical properties of CSEs for high-energy–density SSLMBs.

The challenge for single-atom catalysts in various C-C cross coupling reaction exists in the development of solid supporting *** has been desired tofind a supporting material designed in molecular level to anchor a single-atom catalyst and provide high degree of dispersion and substrate access in aqueous ***,we prepared discrete cages of metal-organic polyhedra anchoring single Pd atom(MOP-BPY(Pd))and successfully performed a Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reaction with various substrates in aqueous *** was revealed that each tetrahedral cage of MOP-BPY(Pd)has 4.5 Pd atoms on average and retained its high degree of dispersion up to 3 months in *** coupling efficiencies of the Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reaction exhibited more than 90.0%for various substrates we have tested in the aqueous media,which is superior to those of the molecular Pd complex and metal-organic framework(MOF)anchoring Pd ***,MOP-BPY(Pd)was successfully recovered and recycled without performance degradation.

Since the introduction of the Internet of Things(IoT),several researchers have been exploring its productivity to utilize and organize the spectrum *** radio(CR)technology is characterized as the best aspirant for wireless communications to augment IoT *** the CR networks,secondary users(SUs)opportunistically get access to the primary users(PUs)spectrum through spectrum *** multipath issues in the wireless channel can fluster the sensing ability of the individual ***,several cooperative SUs are engaged in cooperative spectrum sensing(CSS)to ensure reliable sensing *** CSS,security is still a major concern for the researchers to safeguard the fusion center(FC)against abnormal sensing reports initiated by the malicious users(MUs).In this paper,butterfly optimization algorithm(BOA)-based soft decision method is proposed to find an optimized weighting coefficient vector correlated to the SUs sensing *** coefficient vector is utilized in the soft decision rule at the FC before making any global *** effectiveness of the proposed scheme is compared for a variety of parameters with existing schemes through simulation *** results confirmed the supremacy of the proposed BOA scheme in both the normal SUs’environment and when lower and higher SNRs information is carried by the different categories of MUs.

Lithium–sulfur batteries are one of the attractive next-generation energy storage systems owing to theienvironmental friendliness,low cost,and high specific energy ***,the low electrical conductivity of sulfur,shuttling of soluble intermediate polysulfides between electrodes,and low capacitretention have hampered their commercial *** address these issues,we use a halloysitemodulated(H-M)separator in a lithium–sulfur battery to mitigate the shuttling *** H-M separator acts as a mutual Coulombic repulsion in lithium-sulfur batteries,thereby selectively permitting Lions and efficiently suppressing the transfer of undesired lithium polysulfides to the Li anode sideMoreover,the use of halloysite switches the surface of the separator from hydrophobic to hydrophilicconsequently improving the electrolyte wettability and adhesion between the separator and cathodeWhen sulfur-multi-walled carbon nanotube(S-MWCNT)composites are used as cathode active materialsa lithium–sulfur battery with an H-M separator exhibits first discharge and charge capacities of 1587 an1527 m Ah g-1,***,there is a consistent capacity retention up to 100 cyclesAccordingly,our approach demonstrates an economical and easily accessible strategy for commercialization of lithium–sulfur batteries.

High-strength bainitic steels have created a lot of interest in recent times because of their excellent combination of strength,ductility,toughness,and high ballistic mass *** steels have great potential in the fabrication of steel armor *** various approaches and methods have been conducted to utilize the retained austenite(RA)in the bainitic matrix to control mechanical properties,very few attempts have been conducted to improve ballistic performance utilizing transformationinduced plasticity(TRIP)*** this study,high-strength bainitic steels were designed by controlling the time of austempering process to have various volume fractions and stability of RA while maintaining high *** dynamic compressive and ballistic impact tests were conducted,and the relation between the effects of TRIP on ballistic performance and the adiabatic shear band(ASB)formation was *** results show for the first time that an active TRIP mechanism achieved from a large quantity of metastable RA can significantly enhance the ballistic performance of high-strength bainitic steels because of the improved resistance to ASB ***,the ballistic performance can be effectively improved by a very short austempering time,which suggests that the utilization of active TRIP behavior via tuning RA acts as a primary mechanism for significantly enhancing the ballistic performance of high-strength bainitic steels.

Thoracic outlet syndrome(TOS)is a group of diverse disorders involving compression of the nerves and/or blood vessels in the thoracic outlet *** results in pain,numbness,paresthesia,and motor weakness in the affected upper *** reviewed the pathophysiology,clinical evaluation,differential diagnoses,and treatment of *** is usually classified into three types,neurogenic,venous,and arterial,according to the primarily affected *** true neurogenic and disputed TOS are considered neurogenic *** identifying the causative lesions is complex,detailed history taking and thorough clinical investigation are *** and imaging studies are helpful for excluding other possible disorders and confirming the diagnosis of true neurogenic *** existence of a disputed TOS remains *** physicians tend to be skeptical about the existence of disputed TOS,but thoracic surgeons argue that disputed TOS is *** who encounter patients with TOS need to understand its key features to avoid misdiagnosis and provide appropriate treatment.

minimally invasive surgery has become common in the surgical resection of gastrointestinal submucosal tumors(SMTs). The purpose of this article is to review recent trends in minimally invasive surgery for gastric SMTs. Although laparoscopic resection has been main stream of minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal SMTs, recent advances in endoscopic procedures now provide various treatment modalities for gastric SMTs. Moreover, investigators have developed several hybrid techniques that include the advantages of both laparoscopic and endoscopic procedure. In addition, several types of reduced port surgeries, modification of conventional laparoscopic procedures, have been recently applied to the surgical resection of SMTs. Meanwhile, robotic surgery for SMTs requires further evidence and improvement.

The development of memory devices with functions that simultaneously process and store data is required for efficient *** achieve this,artificial synaptic devices have been proposed because they can construct hybrid networks with biological neurons and perform neuromorphic ***,irreversible aging of these electrical devices causes unavoidable performance *** several photonic approaches to controlling currents have been suggested,suppression of current levels and switching of analog conductance in a simple photonic manner remain ***,we demonstrated a nanograin network memory using reconfigurable percolation paths in a single Si nanowire with solid core/porous shell and pure solid core *** electrical and photonic control of current percolation paths enabled the analog and reversible adjustment of the persistent current level,exhibiting memory behavior and current suppression in this single nanowire *** addition,the synaptic behaviors of memory and erasure were demonstrated through potentiation and habituation *** habituation was achieved using laser illumination on the porous nanowire shell,with a linear decrease in the postsynaptic ***,synaptic elimination was emulated using two adjacent devices interconnected on a single ***,electrical and photonic reconfiguration of the conductive paths in Si nanograin networks will pave the way for next-generation nanodevice technologies.

·AIM: To evaluate the stability of neodymium(Nd):YAG laser posterior capsulotomy in eyes with capsular tension rings(CTRs).·METHODS: A total of 60 eyes that underwent cataract surgery and laser posterior capsulotomy postoperatively were included in this retrospective cohort study. To evaluate the safety and stability of capsulotomy, changes in the size of posterior capsulotomy and anterior chamber depth(ACD) in three groups: the group without CTR, the group with 12 mm CTRs, and the group with 13 mm CTRs, at 1wk, 3, 12, and 15mo after capsulotomy, were compared. ·RESULTS: In the group without CTR and the group with 12 mm CTR, there was no significant change in ACD at every post-laser follow-up. In the group with 13 mm CTR, the ACD change was significant until 3mo after capsulotomy. In all groups, there was a significant increase in the area of capsulotomy between 1wk and 3mo post-laser. Between 3 and 12mo post-laser, only the group with 13 mm CTR showed a significant increase in the area of capsulotomy(P<0.01). ·CONCLUSION: Laser posterior capsulotomy is safe in all three groups. The capsulotomy and ACD become stabilized and have not shown significant changes since 1y postlaser, even with larger CTRs. The maintenance of centrifugal capsular tension can last longer with larger CTRs, and the stability of the capsulotomy site can be reached about 12mo after capsulotomy in pseudophakic eyes with larger CTRs.
