The two-stream instability is common, responsible for many observed phe- nomena in nature, especially the interaction of jets of various origins with the back- ground plasma （e.g. extragalactic jet interacting with the cosmic background）. The dispersion relation that does not consider magnetic fields is described by the well- known Buneman relation. In 2011, Bohata, Bren and Kulhanek derived the relation for the two-stream instability without the cold limit, with the general orientation of a magnetic field, and arbitrary stream directions. The maximum value of the imaginary part of the individual dispersion branches ωn（k） is of interest from a physical point of view. It represents the instability growth rate which is responsible for the onset of turbulence mode and subsequent reconnection on the scale of the ion radius accom- panied by a strong plasma thermalization. The paper presented here is focused on the non-relativistic instability growth rate and its dependence on various input parameters, such as magnitude and direction of magnetic field, sound velocity, plasma frequency of the jet and direction of the wave vector during the jet - intergalactic medium in- teraction. The results are presented in plots and can be used for determination of the plasma parameter values close to which the strong energy transfer and thermalization between the jet and the background plasma occur.

The kinetic energy loss and the secondary loss downstream of a high turning nozzle cascade were *** of the incidence angle(i=-25°,0°and 25°)and Reynolds number(Re_(2,is)=0.8×10^(5),1.2×10^(5),2.5×10^(5) and 4.5×10^(5))were studied on two cascade configurations defined by different pitch to chord ratio(t/c=0.6 and 0.9),*** at the cascade inlet were performed by means of preston tube,while at the cascade outlet by means of miniature pyramid five-hole pressure *** effect of studied parameters on the flow field at the cascade outlet was shown by the distribution of the kinetic energy loss,secondary loss,mix-out loss and streamwise vorticity.

Ancient flow type landslides are relatively frequent fossil forms of the relief in mid-mountain conditions of the Czech Carpathian Mountains. Sixty rather distinctive displays of debris flows,rock avalanches,and debris avalanches have been mapped in the uppermost part of the territory. Unlike contemporary sporadic and low volume debris flows,ancient(pleistocene and Lower Holocene) accumulations are a few orders of magnitude more extensive and were of considerable geomorphologic significance in forming the steep sections of mountain valleys and slopes. This geomorphic pattern does not hold for flow type slides,the source of which is material released as a consequence of numerous deep-seated landslides. Due to deep disruption of slopes,a few high-magnitude flow type landslides(e.g.,rock avalanches),quite rare in flysch mid-mountain conditions,also occurred in the Late Holocene.

Sediment provenance studies commonly utilize isotopic signatures to resolve detrital mineral sources and ***,non-unique ages and geochemical characteristics across geographically distinct crystalline source regions can lead to significant ambiguities in mineral provenance *** ambiguity is apparent in southern Australia’s Cenozoic Eucla Basin,which hosts world-class heavy mineral sand ***,new Hf isotope data are provided from four heavy mineral prospects(N=8,n=844[N=samples,n=grains]).Zircon grain shape data are also presented for a suite of detrital Eucla Basin samples(N=22,n=35,604)and the basin’s underlying basement,the Coompana province(N=13,n=824).The data are integrated with published detrital and non-detrital primary zircon data to investigate the efficacy of grain shape analysis to better resolve the basin’s mineral *** Hf isotope compositions indicate a primary Mesoproterozoic juvenile source for zircon melts(~1250-1000 Ma,-2.5~+5)with additional contributions from a range of juvenile to evolved late Archean to phanerozoic-aged zircon bearing magmas(-28.0+11).U-pb geochronology and Hf isotopes are incapable of differentiating Mesoproterozoic-aged source rocks bounding the region for the majority of heavy mineral deposits analyzed as potential sources express overlapping crystallization ages and similarities in Hf-isotope ***,distinct zircon grain shapes(i.e.,perimeter,major axis and circularity)facilitate improved differentiation across these Mesoproterozoic *** of U-pb age,Hf isotope and shape data implicate the underlying Madura and Coompana provinces as dominant sediment sources for Eucla Basin detritus aged~1400-1000 *** lack of direct sediment pathways between the underlying basement provinces and placer sediments analyzed demonstrates the significance of zircon reworking from intermediate sedimentary basins in the formation of the economically significa

Vulnerability evaluation plays a key role in risk assessment and reduction and is essential for defining strategies for climate change adaptation and *** dealing with the safeguarding of cultural heritage at risk,we are still far from adopting and applying an agreed methodology for vulnerability *** the aim to support practitioners,heritage managers,and policy and decision makers to undertake actions that address the protection of cultural heritage at risk,the methodology set up in the framework of the Interreg Central Europe STRENCH is illustrated and discussed *** on three major requirements(susceptibility,exposure,and resilience)and a continuous consultation with local stakeholders,the proposed methodology is applicable for evaluating the vulnerability of built heritage and cultural landscape exposed to hydrometeorological hazards,such as heavy rains,floods,and *** results obtained through its validation on 15 case studies from seven Central European regions are shown to underline the strengths and limitations of the methodological *** consultation with local stakeholders was fundamental for the definition of the criteria/subcriteria and related values for the assessment of the *** to further sites in other contexts would surely contribute to strengthening the reliability of the methodological approach.
