Non-thermal atmospheric-pressure positive pulsating corona discharge in degradation of textile dye Reactive Blue 19 enhanced by Bi_(2)O_(3) catalyst

In this work,monoclinic Bi_(2)O_(3) was applied for the first time,to the best of our knowledge,as a catalyst in the process of dye degradation by a non-thermal atmospheric-pressure positive pulsating corona *** research focused on the interaction of the plasma-generated species and the catalyst,as well as the role of the catalyst in the degradation *** decomposition of the anthraquinone reactive dye Reactive Blue 19(RB 19) was performed in a selfmade reactor ***_(2)O_(3) was prepared by electrodeposition followed by thermal treatment,and characterized by x-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive xray *** was observed that the catalyst promoted decomposition of plasma-generated H_(2)O_(2) into ·OH radicals,the principal dye-degrading reagent,which further attacked the dye *** catalyst improved the decolorization rate by 2.5 times,the energy yield by 93.4%and total organic carbon removal by 7.1%.Excitation of the catalyst mostly occurred through strikes by plasma-generated reactive ions and radical species from the air,accelerated by the electric field,as well as by fast electrons with an energy of up to 15 eV generated by the streamers reaching the liquid *** strikes transferred the energy to the catalyst and created the electrons and holes,which further reacted with H_(2)O_(2) and water,producing ·OH *** was indentified as the primary role of the catalyst in this *** reactions followed pseudo first-order *** of H_(2)O_(2) and the dye degradation rate increased with increase in the input *** optimal catalyst dose was 500 mg·dm^(-3).The decolorization rate was a little lower in river water compared with that in deionized water due to the side reactions of ·OH radicals with organic matter and inorganic ions dissolved in the river water.

Prototype of atmospheric pressure non-thermal corona plasma reactor, developed for degradation of organics in water, operates at significantly higher frequency than other reactors for that purpose, and without sparks. Its construction provides the umbrella shaped, sustained pulsating corona discharge, with defined discharge oscillations on a given pulse frequency above the water surface. Dye degradation rate decreases with the decrease of discharge current density. Plasmaformed H2O2 is consumed in dye degradation. The energy yield of dye degradation is 2.45 g k Wh^-1 for 50 ppm solution, which is higher than in other publications for comparable experimental conditions.

Quantifying rock weathering processes,especially in ways of nondisturbance and on-site investigation,is one of the most critical tasks in predicting rocks erosion rates and understanding the sediment *** proposed a more reproducible approach to test how image analysis can quantify the changes in the size and shape of fragments during the weathering *** artificial models were designed to select suitable metrics among over 20 *** validate the efficiency of image analysis,we analyzed rocks from badlands in Nanxiong Basin,Southeast China,under three different ranges of temperature differences(TD)during cyclic wetting and drying(WD).Our results show that TDs can accelerate the disintegration rate,and even if there is only a 20℃ difference in the range of TDs,an apparent difference in fragment size was ***,the shape of fragments became more round as the increasing number of cyclic treatments,and for samples that went through the same number of treatments,the larger the temperature difference,the more round the shape *** that serves as another evidence for landscape evolution response to climatic warming.

学界将主流化定义为一种政策重点(从特殊性转向普遍性)或治理模式(从国家中心转向多中心)的演变。继性别、残疾人和环境领域之后,主流化开始兴起于移民融合领域,不过,学界尚对此关注不足。本文将主流化定义为移民融合政策的一种演变趋势。结合移民融合研究和其他领域的主流化研究,特别是跨文化主义研究,本文对移民融合主流化进行概念界定。之后,对融合治理的转变趋势进行实证分析,探讨丹麦、法国、德国和英国的具体政策,力图解释主流化是否真实存在。研究发现,主流化只能部分解释移民融合领域的政策演变:政策的确越来越具有普遍性,治理也在向多中心转变,但是它们并不强调建立移民多样性共识,而且受国家叙事和原生治理结构的影响更大。不过,地方政府的替代性战略表明,主流化路径可能是克服国家叙事和治理结构影响的重要途径。

Relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas,especially diffuse large B-cell lymphoma as well as relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphomas are hard-to-treat *** who do not respond to initial therapy or experience relapse are treated with salvage regimens,and if eligible for aggressive therapy,treatment is continued with high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell *** therapy options can cure substantial numbers of patients,however for some it is still an uncurable *** new drugs and cell therapies are being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory *** types of immunotherapy options have shown promising results,and some have already become the standard of ***,we review immunotherapy options for the treatment of lymphoma and discuss the results,positions,practical aspects,and future directions of different drugs and cellular therapies for the treatment of this disease.

＜正＞ We examined the effects of clonidine （CLON）. alpha - 2 - adrenoceptor agonist and yohimbine （YOH）, alpha - 2 - adrenoceptor antagonist,on the effects of oxcarbazepine （OXC） against concanavalin A- induced inflammatory hyperalgesia in a paw pressure test in rats. All substances were administrated intraplantarly （i. pl.） into the rat hind paw. OXC （1000 - 3000 nmol/paw;i. pl.） and CLON （1.9-7.5 nmol;i. pl.） caused a significant dose and time dependent reduction of the paw hyperalgesia. Isobolographic analysis of co - administration of OXC and CLON in a fixed dose ratio （1/4 + 1/4, 1/2 + 1/2 and 3/4 + 3/4 of ED50 of each drug） revealed an additive anti - hyperalgesic effect. Coadministration of YOH （260 and 520 nmol;***.） with OXC （2000 nmol/paw;***.） significantly decreased the anti - hyperalgesic effect of OXC in a dose and time dependent manner. These results indicate that the peripheral alpha - 2 adrenoceptors are involved in the peripheral anti - hyperalgesic effects of OXC in a rat model of inflammatory hyperalgesia.

High dose chemotherapy with stem cell support in the treatment of testicular cancer

Testicular germ cell cancer(TGCC) is rare form of malignant disease that occurs mostly in young man between age 15 and 40. The worldwide incidence of TGCC is 1.5 per 100000 man with the highest rates in North Europe. After discovery of cisplatin cure rates of TGCC are very favorable between 90%-95% and unlike most solid tumors, cure rate for metastatic TGCC is around 80%. Metastatic TGCC is usually treated with 3-4 cycles of bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatinum chemotherapy with or without retroperitoneal surgery and cure rates with this approach are between 41% in poor risk group and 92% in good risk group of patients. Cure rates are lower in relapsed and refractory patients and many of them will die from the disease if not cured with first line chemotherapy. High dose chemotherapy(HDCT) approach was used for the first time during the 1980 s. Progress in hematology allowed the possibility to keep autologous haematopoietic stem cells alive ex-vivo at very low temperatures and use them to repopulate the bone marrow after sub-lethal dose of intesive myeloablative chemotherapy. Despite the fact that there is no positive randomized study to prove HDCT concept, cure rates in relapsed TGCC are higher after high dose therapy then in historical controls in studies with conventional treatment. Here we review clinical studies in HDCT for TGCC, possibilities of mobilising sufficient number of stem cells and future directions in the treatment of this disease.

Differences inthe Level of Social Status of Male and Female Folk Dancers

The research was conducted in order to determine differences in the social status structure of male and female performers of folk dances. For the purpose of determining the social status structure of male and female dancers, 103 male and 145 female dancers aged 18‐28 actively engaged in folk dancing were tested. For the assessment of social status, only one model that allows for true scientific approach to studying the structure of stratification dimensions has been made so far. The model was constructed by Saksida and later served as a basis for many studies conducted by other authors as well (Saksida, Caserman, petrovic, Momirovic, and Hosek). Designed as a phenomenological model, it has undergone several changes over time, but it is still suitable for studying social change. The INST2 questionnaire modified by Boli, Popovic, Hosek, Momirovic, and Savic (SSMIN) was applied in this study. All the data obtained in this research were processed at the Multidisciplinary Research Center of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Pristina, through the system of data processing programs designed by D. Popovic and K. Momirovic. To determine differences between the groups, a method of discriminant analysis was applied.
