Peyronie’s disea.e(PD)is a.condition of penile connective tissue a.fecting up to 10%of men *** the complexity ofits ma.a.ement,nonsurgica. trea.ments,such a. intra.la.ue injections,a.e ga.ning *** current litera.ure shows da.a.n the effica.y of intra.la.ue injections of hya.uronic a.id(Ha.ma.nly in a.ute-pha.e ***,da.a.on injections of Ha.insta.le-pha.e PD a.e *** for this retrospective study were derived from a.prospectively ma.nta.ned da.a.a.e of priva.epa.ients presenting a. a.priva.e medica. pra.tice a.filia.ed to the University of Na.les“Federico II”(Na.les,Ita.y)with sta.le-pha.ePD between Ja.ua.y 2020 a.d Ma.ch *** underwent a.sta.da.d protocol of three injections,ea.h a.ministered a. a.wo-week *** the interva.s,pa.ients performed va.uum device thera.y,penile stretching,a.d modeling *** compiled the Peyronie’s Disea.e Questionna.re(PDQ)a.d Globa. a.sessment of Peyronie’s Disea.e(Ga.D)a. ba.elinea.d 2 weeks a.ter the third injection.a.penile Doppler ultra.ound wa. performed 2 weeks a.ter the la.t injection to record thefina. ***,we recruited 62 pa.ients with sta.le-pha.e PD a.d a.mea.(±sta.da.d devia.ion[s.d.])curva.ure of52.7°(±9.7°).a.ter 6 weeks,eight(12.9%)pa.ients did not experience a.y curva.ure *** rema.ning 54 pa.ientsha. a.fina. mea.(±s.d.)curva.ure of 40.3°(±9.1°)with Pa.ed to tha. before *** found improvement ina.l PDQ doma.ns(a.l P≤0.01),a.d 50(80.6%)pa.ients reported subjective improvement of the penile curva.ure a.cording to *** conclusion,we demonstra.ed tha. a.ter three injections of Ha.a.ministered a.cording to the a.opted protocol,pa.ientswith sta.le-pha.e PD could experience significa.t improvements in penile curva.ure,a.d physica. a.d psychologica. consequencesof the disea.e without significa.tly releva.t side effects.

In contempora.y da.a.collection for biomedica. studies, disea.e surveilla.ce a.d genetics, p > n limits the use of existingfa.tor a.a.ysis methods to study the correla.ion ma.rix. The motiva.ion for the resea.ch herecomes from studying the correla.ion ma.rix of log a.nua. ca.cer morta.ity ra.e cha.ge for p = 59ca.cer types from 1969 to 2008 (n = 39) in the U.S.a. We forma.ise a.test sta.istic to perform inference on the structure of the correla.ion ma.rix when p > n. We develop a. a.proa.h ba.ed ongroup sequentia. theory to estima.e the number of releva.t fa.tors to be extra.ted. To fa.ilita.einterpreta.ion of the extra.ted fa.tors, we propose a.BIC (Ba.esia. Informa.ion Criterion)-typecriterion to produce a.spa.se fa.tor loa.ing representa.ion. The proposed methodology outperforms competing a. hoc methodologies in simula.ion a.a.yses, a.d identifies three significa.t underlying fa.tors responsible for the observed correla.ion between ca.cer morta.ity ra.echa.ges.
