Understanding the mechanisms of interaction between bone/bone marrow,circulatory system and nervous system is of great interest due to the potential clinical *** humans,the amount of knowledge in this domain remains relatively limited due to the extreme difficulty to monitor these tissues continuously,noninvasively and for long or repeated periods of time.A typical difficult task would be,for example,to continuously monitor bone/bone marrow blood perfusion,hemoglobin oxygen saturation or blood volume and study their dependence on the activity of the autonomic nervous *** this review article,we want to show that nearinfrared light might be utilized to solve these problems in *** hope that the present analysis will stimulate future studies in this domain,for which near-infrared light appears as the best available technology today.

The capture,regeneration,and conversion of CO_(2) from ambient air and flue gas streams are critical aspects of mitigating global *** sorbents for CO_(2) absorption are very promising as they have high mass transfer areas without energy input and reduce emissions and minimize corrosion as compared to liquid ***,precisely tunable solid CO_(2) sorbents are difficult to ***,we demonstrate the high-throughput production of hydrogel-based CO_(2)-absorbing particles via liquid *** wrapping a liquid jet consisting of an aqueous solution of cross-linkable branched polyethylenimine(PEI)with a layer of suspension containing hydrophobic silica nanoparticles,monodisperse droplets with a silica nanoparticle coating layer was formed in the air.A stable Pickering emulsion containing PEI droplets was obtained after these ejected droplets were collected in a heated oil *** droplets turn into mm-sized particles after thermal curing in the *** diameter,PEI content,and silica content of the particles were systematically varied,and their CO_(2) absorption was measured as a function of *** regeneration of the particles enabled cyclic testing,revealing a CO_(2) absorption capacity of 6.5±0.5 mol kg^(−1)solid PEI in pure CO_(2) environments and 0.7±0.3 mol kg^(−1)solid PEI for direct air *** thousands of particles were produced per second at a rate of around 0.5 kg per hour,with a single *** process can be further scaled by *** complete toolbox for the design,fabrication,testing,and regeneration of functional hydrogel particles provides a powerful route toward novel solid sorbents for regenerative CO_(2) capture.

A case of osteoid osteoma of the elbow in a patient with hemophilia A is described. This male patient presented with chronic and nocturnal pain of the left elbow which was alleviated with acetaminophen. Besides pain, he also complained of stiffness. Before these complaints, he had recurrent bleedings in the elbow because of hemophilia. A delayed diagnosis of osteoid osteoma in the proximal part of the left ulna was established by a bone scan and a multislice spiral computed tomography(CT) scan. The lesion was surgically removed under CT-guidance. The histopathological analyses did not show specific features of osteoid osteoma. Two months after the operation, the complaints decreased and the range of motion of the left elbow improved. A diagnosis of osteoid osteoma of the elbow should be considered in young adult patients with persistent elbow pain and histological confirmation is not always necessary.

The idea of stacking multiple monolayers of different two-dimensional materials has become a global pursuit. In this work a silicene armchair nanoribbon of width W and van der Waals-bonded to different transition-metal dichalcogenide （TMD） bilayer substrates MoX2 and WX2, where X = S, Se, Te is considered. The orbital resolved electronic structure and ballistic transport properties of these systems are simulated by employing van der Waals-corrected density functional theory and nonequilibrium Green＇s functions. We find that the lattice mismatch with the underlying substrate determines the electronic structure, correlated with the silicene buckling distortion and ultimately with the contact resistance of the two-terminal system. The smallest lattice mismatch, obtained with the MoTe2 substrate, results in the silicene ribbon properties coming close to those of a freestanding one. With the TMD bilayer acting as a dielectric layer, the electronic structure is tunable from a direct to an indirect semiconducting layer, and subsequently to a metallic electronic dispersion layer, with a moderate applied perpendicular electric field.

The structural and vibrational properties of two-dimensional hexagonal silicon （silicene） and germanium （germanene） are investigated by means of first-principles calculations. It is predicted that the silicene （germanene） structure with a small buckling of 0.44 ,~ （0.7/k） and bond lengths of 2.28 ,~ （2.44 .~） is energetically the most favorable, and it does not exhibit imaginary phonon mode. The calculated non-resonance Raman spectra of silicene are characterized by a main peak at about 575 cm-1, namely the G-like peak. For germanene, the highest peak is at about 290 cm-1. Extensive calculations on armchair silicene nanoribbons and armchair germanene nanoribbons are also performed, with and without hydrogenation of the edges. The studies reveal other Raman peaks mainly distributed at lower frequencies than the G-like peak which could be attributed to the defects at the edges of the ribbons, thus not present in the Raman spectra of non-defective silicene and germanene. Particularly the Raman peak corresponding to the D mode is found to be located at around 515 cm-1 for silicene and 270 cm-1 for germanene. The calculated G-like and the D peaks are likely the fingerprints of the Raman spectra of the low-buckled structures of silicene and germanene.

AIM To investigate the additional value of physiotherapy after a corticosteroid injection in stage one or two idiopathic frozen shoulders(FSs).METHODS A two center, randomized controlled trial was done. Patients with a painful early stage idiopathic FS were eligible for inclusion. After written consent, patients were randomly allocated into two groups. All patients received an ultrasound-guided intra-articular corticosteroid injection. One group underwent additional physiotherapy treatment(PT) and the other group did not(non-PT). The primary outcome measure was the Shoulder Painand Disability Index(SPADI). Secondary outcomes were pain(numeric pain rating scale), range of motion(ROM), quality of life(RAND-36 score), and patient satisfaction. Follow-up was scheduled after 6, 12 and 26 *** Twenty-one patients were included, 11 patients in the non-PT and ten in the PT group, with a mean age of 52 years. Both treatment groups showed a significant improvement at 26 wk for SPADI score(non-PT: P = 0.05, PT: P = 0.03). At the 6 wk follow-up, median SPADI score was significant decreased in the PT group(14 IQR: 6-38) vs the non-PT group(63 IQR: 45-76)(P = 0.01). Pain decreased significantly in both groups but no differences were observed between both treatment groups at any time point, except for night pain at 6 wk in favor of the PT group(P = 0.02). Significant differences in all three ROM directions were observed after 6 wk in favor of the PT group(P ≤ 0.02 for all directions). A significantly greater improvement in abduction(P = 0.03) and external rotation(P = 0.04) was also present in favor of the PT group after 12 wk. RAND-36 scores showed no significant differences in health-related quality of life at all follow-up moments. At 26 wk, both groups did not differ significantly with respect to any of the outcome parameters. 在系统层次研究设计的一般规律,以典型机构为实例,讨论结构演变过程,用宏观序参量加以描述,并通过设计机器人动作规划实现序列序参量运算,通过机构设计实例加以验证;用协同学序参量的概念描述行为-结构映射过程,揭示行为-结构映射的内在规律,在此基础上,进一步提出用设计机器人(D-Robot)执行序参量运算实现自动设计和分析,以实现往复运动行为的机构设计为例验证了方法的有效性。提出D-Robot通用模版,并以此为框架编制凸轮机构设计和分析D-Robot动作规划,实现了凸轮机构设计和分析自动设计。输入条件是从动件尖端运动轨迹,输出包括凸轮理论和实际廓线、速度和加速度运动分析、凸轮力分析、动平衡、速度波动及飞轮设计、运动模拟及设计分析报告。
