Every day,websites and personal archives create more and more *** size of these archives is *** comfort of use of these huge digital image gatherings donates to their ***,not all of these folders deliver relevant indexing *** the outcomes,it is dif-ﬁcult to discover data that the user can be absorbed ***,in order to determine the signiﬁcance of the data,it is important to identify the contents in an informative *** annotation can be one of the greatest problematic domains in multimedia research and computer ***,in this paper,Adap-tive Convolutional Deep Learning Model(ACDLM)is developed for automatic image ***,the databases are collected from the open-source system which consists of some labelled images(for training phase)and some unlabeled images{Corel 5 K,MSrC v2}.After that,the images are sent to the pre-processing step such as colour space quantization and texture color class *** pre-processed images are sent to the segmentation approach for efﬁcient labelling technique using J-image segmentation(JSEG).Theﬁnal step is an auto-matic annotation using ACDLM which is a combination of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and Honey Badger Algorithm(HBA).Based on the proposed classiﬁer,the unlabeled images are *** proposed methodology is imple-mented in MATLAB and performance is evaluated by performance metrics such as accuracy,precision,recall and F1_*** the assistance of the pro-posed methodology,the unlabeled images are labelled.

Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) such as Crohn's disease are highly debilitating. There are inconsistencies in response to and side effects in the current conventional medications, failures in adequate drug delivery, and the lack of therapeutics to offer complete remission in the presently available treatments of IBD. This suggests the need to explore beyond the horizons of conventional approaches in IBD therapeutics. This review examines the arena of the evolving IBD nanomedicine, studied so far in animal and in vitro models, before comprehensive clinical testing in humans. The investigations carried out so far in IBD models have provided substantial evidence of the nanotherapeutic approach as having the potential to overcome some of the current drawbacks to conventional IBD therapy. We analyze the pros and cons of nanotechnology in IBD therapies studied in different models, aimed at different targets and mechanisms of IBD pathogenesis, in an attempt to predict its possible impact in humans.

A simple one-pot reaction that serves to functionalize graphite nanosheets(graphene)and single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)with perfluorinated alkyl groups is *** radical addition of 1-iodo-1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorododecane to ortho-dichlorobenzene suspensions of the carbon nanomaterial is initiated by thermal decomposition of benzoyl ***,UV photolysis of 1-iodo-perfluorodecane serves to functionalize the carbon ***-SWNTs,perfluorododecyl-graphene,and perfluorodecyl-graphene are characterized by infrared(Ir)and raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and atomic force microscopy(AFM).The products show enhanced dispersability in CHCl3 as compared to unfunctionalized starting *** advantage of this one-pot functionalization procedure lies in the use of pristine graphite as starting material thereby avoiding the use of harsh oxidizing conditions.

Background:End-stage ankle arthritis impairs joint function and patients' *** ankle replacement is a surgical procedure to treat severe ankle *** Talaris Anatomic Ankle^(TM)(STAA) was designed to mimic the normal ankle anatomy and flexion/extension of the ankle *** purpose of this study was to examine the effect of an STAA ankle replacement on ankle joint function and mechanics during ***:Five patients with end-stage unilateral ankle arthritis were *** performed level walking in a laboratory setting on 2occasions,prior to and 3 months after the STAA ankle *** Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS) hindfoot score was obtained.A 12-camera motion capture system was used to perform walking *** temporo-spatial parameters and ankle joint mechanics were *** Student's t tests and non-parametric Wilcoxon matched tests were performed to examine the differences in biomechanical variables between the pre-and post-surgery walking ***:Compared to the pre-surgical condition,at 3 months of post-STAA surgery,patients experienced greater improvement in AOFAS hindfoot score(p = 0.0001);the STAA ankle demonstrated a 31% increase in ankle joint excursion(p = 0.045),a 22% increase in ankle plantarflexor moment(p = 0.075),a 60% increase in ankle power absorption(p = 0.023),and a 68% increase in ankle power production(p = 0.039).Patients also demonstrated a 26% increase in walking speed(p = 0.005),a 20% increase in stride length(p = 0.013),a 15% decrease in double support time(p = 0.043),and a 5% decrease in total stance time(p = 0.055).Conclusion:Three months after surgeries,the STAA patients experienced improvements in ankle function and gait *** STAA ankle demonstrated improved ankle mechanics during daily activities such as walking.

Background:There are several reports describing an increase in anterior pelvic tilt after hamstring lengthening in children with cerebral palsy (CP).Distal femoral extension and shortening osteotomy (DFESO) is an alternative treatment for correction of flexed knee gait,but investigations analyzing outcome and influence on adjacent joint are few in the *** purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of DFESO on knee and pelvis in children with ***,it was of interest if an additional patellar tendon advancement (PA) influences ***:In this retrospective study,31 limbs of 22 children (GMFCS Ⅰ-Ⅲ;mean age:12.1±3.1 years),who received DFESO were included and kinematic parameters (knee,pelvis) measured by 3-D-gait analysis were compared before and at least 1 year after surgery (mean follow-up period:15.6 months).results:After surgery,during stance phase minimum knee flexion improved significantly by 20.5° (Prior pelvic tilt increased by 4.0 degrees (P=0.045).In 16 limbs,the postoperative increase in maximum anterior pelvic tilt was more than 5°.Limbs who received an additional PA showed the biggest increase in anterior pelvic ***:DFESO is an effective method for correction of flexed knee gait in children with ***,the results of this study indicate that DFESO may lead to an increase in anterior pelvic tilt,which may lead to a recurrence of flexed knee *** this context,PA seemed to aggravate the effect on the pelvis.

rodents are a serious constraint to poor farmers in the upland and lowland farming systems of the Lao People’sDemocratic republic and have been described as the pest they have least control over. To better understand theseproblems a baseline survey of farmers was conducted to assess their knowledge, attitudes, and practices with respectto rodent management. A structured survey was conducted in 12 villages across Luang Namtha, Luang Prabang,and Houaphan provinces. Twenty farmers from each village were interviewed (a total of 240 farmers). Farmersnoted that the main factor limiting production was pests (70%), with rats identified as the most important pest(98%). The mean yield loss was estimated at 19% (range 0–100%). Trapping and rodenticides were commonlyused by farmers. Farmers believed that it was important to control rats and believed that rats could only be controlledif farmers worked together. However, 65% of farmers conducted rodent control by themselves, and 92% offarmers believed that rodenticides were harmful to the environment. The main constraints identified were the highcost of some control methods and the need to get farmers to work together as a community.
