Homogeneous gold nanoparticles were synthesized under atmospheric pressure using a nonthermal helium plasma jet in a single-step process.A current power supply was used to generate the plasma discharge rich in diverse reactive *** species induce rapid chemical reactions responsible for the reduction of the gold salts upon contact with the liquid *** this study,spherical and monodispersed gold nanoparticles were obtained within 5 min of plasma exposure using a solution containing gold(Ⅲ)chloride hydrate(HAuCl_(4))as a precursor and polyvinylpyrrolidone(pVp)as a capping agent to inhibit *** formation of these metal nanoparticles was initially perceptible through a visible change in the sample's color,transitioning from light yellow to a red/pink *** was subsequently corroborated by UVvis spectroscopy,which revealed an optical absorption in the 520-550 nm range for Au Nps,corresponding to the surface plasmon resonance(SpR)*** investigation into the impact of various parameters,including plasma discharge duration,precursor and capping agent concentrations,was carried out to optimize conditions for the formation of well-separated,spherical gold *** light scattering(DLS)was used to measure the size of these nanoparticles,transmission electron microscopy(TEM)was used to observe their morphology and X-ray diffraction(XRD)was also employed to determine their crystallographic *** results confirm that homogeneous spherical gold nanoparticles with an average diameter of 13 nm can be easily synthesized through a rapid,straightforward,and environmentally friendly approach utilizing a helium atmospheric pressure plasma.

This article aims to present the feasibility of storing thermal energy in buildings for solar water heating while maintaining the comfort environment for residential *** contribution is the creation of insulating composite panels made of bio-based phase change materials(bio-pCM is all from coconut oil),cement and renewable materials(treated wood fiber and organic clay).The inclusion of wood fibers improved the thermal properties;a simple 2%increase of wood fiber decreased the heat conductivity by approximately 23.42%.The issues of bio-pCM leakage in the cement mortar and a roughly 56.5%reduction in thermal conductivity with bio-pCM stability in composite panels can be resolved by treating wood fibers with an adjuvant by impregnating them in bio-pCM in the presence of the treated clay *** and wood fiber were treated with adjuvants that are both biological and environmentally acceptable,as confirmed by FTIR *** heat transfer bench(DIDATEK)showed a decrease in thermal *** using differential scanning calorimetric(DSC)analysis,the investigation of thermal stability and enthalpy during two heating cycles of pure bio-pCM and composite bio-pCM was *** novel renewable material was used to create composite panels for the trial prototype,which took the shape of a component attached to the solar heating system,33.57%less heat was lost,according to the heat transfer *** outcomes demonstrated the possibility of replacing traditional electric water heating in residential buildings with solar water heating systems.

The present study explores the physical and acoustic characteristics of fine sand and clay in novel seabed marine sediments from of pakistan coastline of the Arabian *** measured physical parameters included mean grain size,mass density,bulk density,salinity,porosity,permeability,pore size and mineralogical *** properties,including sound speed and attenuation,in the high frequency range of 90-170 kHz were analyzed.A controlled laboratory setup with the acoustic transmission method and Fourier transform techniques was utilized to examine the sound propagation and absorption of novel seabed *** standard deviation of mean sound speed in fresh water was 0.75 m/s,and attenuation was observed in the range of 0.43 to 0.61 dB/*** mean sound velocity in sand and clay varied from 1706 to 1709 m/s and 1602 to 1608 m/s,*** average attenuation was observed at 80 to 93 dB/m in sandy sediments and from 31.8 to 38.6 dB/m in clayey *** velocity variation within sandy sediment is low,consistent with expected results,and smaller than the predicted ***,clay sediment exhibited a positive linear correlation and low sound speed *** increased linearly with frequency for both ***,the laboratory results were validated by using the Biot−Stoll *** dispersion of sound speed in sandy and clayey sediments was consistent with the predictions of the Biot−Stoll *** attenuation aligned more with Biot−Stoll model predictions due to improved permeability,tortuosity and pore size parameter fitting.

Magnetic resonance(MR)imaging is a widely employed medical imaging technique that produces detailed anatomical images of the human *** segmentation of MR im-ages plays a crucial role in medical image analysis,as it enables accurate diagnosis,treatment planning,and monitoring of various diseases and *** to the lack of sufficient medical images,it is challenging to achieve an accurate segmentation,especially with the application of deep learning *** aim of this work is to study transfer learning from T1-weighted(T1-w)to T2-weighted(T2-w)MR sequences to enhance bone segmentation with minimal required computation *** the use of an excitation-based convolutional neural networks,four transfer learning mechanisms are proposed:transfer learning without fine tuning,open fine tuning,conservative fine tuning,and hybrid transfer ***,a multi-parametric segmentation model is proposed using T2-w MR as an intensity-based augmentation *** novelty of this work emerges in the hybrid transfer learning approach that overcomes the overfitting issue and preserves the features of both modalities with minimal computation time and *** segmentation results are evaluated using 14 clinical 3D brain MR and CT *** results reveal that hybrid transfer learning is superior for bone segmentation in terms of performance and computation time with DSCs of 0.5393±*** T2-w-based augmentation has no significant impact on the performance of T1-w MR segmentation,it helps in improving T2-w MR segmentation and developing a multi-sequences segmentation model.

poor stability and dispersibility,as well as aggregation are considered as major challenges in clinical application of iron oxide nanoparticles(IONps).Several studies have shown that the synthesis parameters and post-synthesis treatments e.g.,drying methods,have the capability to improve the particles'***,we investigate the combined effect of synthesis and post-treatment parameters on the particle size,stability and magnetism of ***(Fe_(3)O_(4))Nps were prepared via co-precipitation and post-treated using different methods,i.e.(i)freeze dried at-53℃,0.133 mbar for 48 h(liquid nitrogen frozen(LFD)and freezer frozen(FFD)),(ii)vacuum oven dried(VOD)at 60℃for 24 h,and(iii)kept wet colloidal(WET),dispersed in deionized *** Fe_(3)O_(4)Nps’chemical functional groups,size,shape,crystallinity,stability,aggregation,porosity,and magnetic properties were further analysed using different characterisation *** results showed that,while the WET sample had the best stability and significantly less aggregation at different temperatures,amongst post-treated Fe_(3)O_(4)Nps,LFD sample exhibited the best stability(up to 37℃),dispersion and smallest polydispersity ***,all dried Nps had superparamagnetic characteristics,while,LFD Fe_(3)O_(4)Nps had better magnetic properties and stability than other drying methods.

The demands on conventional communication networks are increasing rapidly because of the exponential expansion of connected multimedia *** light of the data-centric aspect of contemporary communication,the information-centric network(ICN)paradigm offers hope for a solution by emphasizing content retrieval by name instead of *** 5G networks are to meet the expected data demand surge from expanded connectivity and Internet of Things(IoT)devices,then effective caching solutions will be required tomaximize network throughput andminimize the use of ***,an ICN-based Cooperative Caching(ICN-CoC)technique has been used to select a cache by considering cache position,content attractiveness,and rate *** findings show that utilizing our suggested approach improves caching regarding the Cache Hit Ratio(CHR)of 84.3%,Average Hop Minimization Ratio(AHMR)of 89.5%,and Mean Access Latency(MAL)of 0.4 *** a framework,it suggests improved caching strategies to handle the difficulty of effectively controlling data consumption in 5G *** improvements aim to make the network run more smoothly by enhancing content delivery,decreasing latency,and relieving *** improving 5G communication systems’capacity tomanage the demands faced by modern data-centric applications,the research ultimately aids in advancement.

Incidence, Clinical presentation and Angiographic Findings among patients with Coronary Artery Ectasia in Gaza

Background: Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) is a rare form of aneurysmal coronary heart disease. This condition increases risk of ischemia that leaded to stable angina pectoris and also acute coronary syndrome. Objective: To evaluate the incidence of CAE and to analyze clinical and angiographic characteristics among patients with symptomatic coronary artery disease. Methods: Retrospective trial of diagnostic coronary angiography which was performed at Alshifa hospital in Gaza, included all patients with coronary heart disease and underwent diagnostic coronary angiography from March 2014 to March 2023. We evaluate the incidence, clinical presentation and angiographic findings of patients with symptomatic coronary ectasia. Results: Of the 12,534 angiograms analyzed, CAE was found in 539 patients, an incidence of 4.3%. The mean age was 59.2 ± 11.7 years, and male gender predominate 81.8%. A 285 (52.9%) of patients found to have single ectatic vessel at their angiographic results. In two vessels 120 patients (22.3%), in three vessels 95 patients (17.6%) and in three vessel plus left main in 39 patients (7.2%). 70.9% angiograms showed pure ectasia without associated significant stenotic lesions in the same vessel. The right coronary artery (RCA) was the commonest affected vessel by ectasia. The most common presentation of patients is non ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome. Conclusion: The incidence of coronary ectasia was 4.3%. Non ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome was the most common clinical presenting. Only 30% of patients have additionally significant coronary artery stenosis. The majority of patients had single vessel involvement and right coronary artery was the most common involved vessel. Despite a dapper understanding of CAE in last years, there are still come critical issues about optimal treatment. Large multicenter randomized control trials are recommended to guide the clinician in the management of this complex sitting of patients.
