We consider the permea.ility estima.ion problem in two-pha.e porous media.flow. We try to identify the permea.ility field by utilizing both the production da.a.from wells a. well a. inverted seismic da.a. The permea.ility field is a.sumed to be piecewise consta.t, or ca. be a.proxima.ed well by a.piecewise consta.t function. a.va.ia.t of the level set method, ca.led Piecewise Consta.t Level Set Method is used to represent the interfa.es between the regions with different permea.ility levels. The inverse problem is solved by minimizing a.functiona., a.d TV norm regula.iza.ion is used to dea. with the ill-posedness. We a.so use the opera.or-splitting technique to decompose the constra.nt term from the fidelity term. This gives us more flexibility to dea. with the constra.nt a.d helps to sta.ilize the a.gorithm.
