The number and composition of species in a community can be quantified withα-diversity indices,including species richness(R),Simpson’s index(D),and the Shannon-Wiener index(H΄).In forest communities,there are large variations in tree size among species and individu-als of the same species,which result in differences in eco-logical processes and ecosystem ***,tree size inequality(TSI)has been largely neglected in studies using the available diversity *** TSI in the diameter at breast height(DBH)data for each of 99920 m×20 m forest census quadrats was quantified using the Gini index(GI),a measure of the inequality of size *** generalized performance equation was used to describe the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of the cumulative proportion of DBH and the cumulative proportion of number of trees per *** also examined the relationships ofα-diversity indices with the GI using correlation *** generalized performance equation effectively described the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of DBH distributions,with most root-mean-square errors(990 out of 999 quadrats)beingpositive correlations between each of threeα-diversity indices(i.e.,R,D,and H’)and the ***,the total abundance of trees in each quadrat did not significantly influence the *** means that the TSI increased with increasing spe-cies ***,two new indices are proposed that can balanceα-diversity against the extent of TSI in the com-munity:(1−GI)×D,and(1−GI)×H’.These new indices were significantly correlated with the original D and H΄,and did not increase the extent of variation within each group of *** study presents a useful tool for quantifying both species diversity and the variation in tree sizes in forest communities,especially in the face of cumulative species loss under global climate change.

以ChatGpT为代表的生成式人工智能应用是人工智能技术快速发展的自然结果,既为人类社会的学术研究工作带来诸多助力,也提出了学术信息失序这一巨大挑战。生成式人工智能时代学术信息失序问题主要表现为作者署名和版权问题、虚假引用问题和学术伦理道德问题。为应对这些问题,国家应不断完善政策法规的监督机制,人工智能行业也应主动承担信息标注和识别的技术发展责任,高校等学术研究机构则应不断加强学术研究人员的信息素养教育,通过以上三方面达成对学术信息失序问题的有效治理。

Reducing the ever-growing level of CO_(2)in the atmosphere is critical for the sustainable development of human society in the context of global *** of the capture and upgrading of CO_(2)is,therefore,highly desirable since each process step is costly,both energetically and ***,we report a CO_(2)direct air capture(DAC)and fixation process that produces *** concentrations of CO_(2)(∼400 ppm)in the air are captured by an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide to form *** carbonate is subsequently hydrogenated to methane,which is easily separated from the reaction system,catalyzed by TiO2-supported Ru in the aqueous phase with a selectivity of 99.9%among gas-phase *** concurrent regenerated hydroxide,in turn,increases the alkalinity of the aqueous solution for further CO_(2)capture,thereby enabling this one-ofits-kind continuous CO_(2)capture and methanation *** simulations demonstrate the energy feasibility of this CO_(2)DAC and methanation process,highlighting its promise for potential largescale applications.

BACKGROUND QTc interval prolongation with an increased risk of torsade de pointes(Tsd)has been described in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients treated with hydroxychloroquine(HCQ)and azithromycin(AZI)in Western *** the DR Congo,few studies have evaluated the safety of this association or proposed new *** To determine the incidence of QTc prolongation and Tsd in COVID-19 patients treated with HCQ-AZIs vs doubase C(new molecule).METHODS In present randomized clinical trial,we have included patients with mild or moderate COVID-19 treated with either HCQ-AZI or doubase ***(ECG)changes on day 14 of randomization were determined based on pretreatment *** QTc was defined as≥500 ms on day 14 or an increase of≥80 ms compared to pretreatment *** with cardiac disease,those undergoing other treatments likely to prolong QTc,and those with disturbed ECG tracings were excluded from the *** The study included 258 patients(mean age 41±15 years;52%men;3.4%diabetics,11.1%hypertensive).Mild and moderate COVID-19 were found in 93.5%and 6.5%of patients,*** baseline,all patients had normal sinus rhythm,a mean heart rate 78±13/min,mean pR space 170±28 ms,mean QRS 76±13 ms,and mean QTc 405±30 *** complaints suggesting cardiac involvement were reported during or after *** four patients(1.5%)experienced QTc interval prolongation beyond 500 ***,only five patients(1.9%)had an increase in the QTc interval of more than 80 *** prolongation was more significant in younger patients,those with high viral load at baseline,and those receiving HCQ-AZI(ppatients developed *** QTc prolongation without Tsd was observed at a lower frequency in patients treated with HCQ-AZI vs doubase *** absence of comorbidities and concurrent use of other products that are likely to cause arrhythmia may explain our results.
