The mineral.gical.and geochemical.characteristics of the K-rich granites from the Armoor granitic rocks in the northeastern portion of the Eastern Dharwar Craton(EDC) are *** order to understand its physicochemical.conditions,the petrogenesis of the granitoid was expl.ined from biotite chemistry and geochemical.*** of mineral.chemistry expose that compositional.y,K-fel.spar and pl.giocl.se in Armoor granite rocks range from An0,Ab_(3-5.9),Or_(94-96.9) and An_(5-29,-Ab71.9-94.9),Or_(0-1.5),*** mineral.chemistry of biotite crystal. exhibits composition that varies from primary to re-equil.brated primary *** biotites from the Armoor granites general.y exhibit an I-type trend,with cal.-al.al.ne parental.magma in a subduction *** chemistry of granites displ.ys magnetite(oxidized)series nature,which has oxygen fugacity(fO_(2))=-15.1 to-16.7(l.g_(10) bar),under high oxidizing *** and pressure estimates for the crystal.ization of Armoor granites based on biotite composition are T=612-716 ℃ and 1.0-0.4 kbar,***,these rocks are metal.minous to sl.ghtl. peral.minous and magnesian,with cal.-al.al.ne potassiumrich *** the chondrite normal.zed REE diagram,the granites have positive europium anomal.es;rich Sr/Y,(Dy/Yb)_(N) ratios and reduced Mg#,Rb/Sr,Rb,Sr indicate that the mel.ing of earl.er rocks,crystal.accumul.tion and residual.garnet source formed at high *** examined granites show that they are produced from the mel.ing of crustal.***,the extensive anal.ses of the described Armoor granite suggest that they were produced by crust sources and devel.ped under oxidizing conditions in subduction setting.

The efficient copol.merization of ol.fin with pol.r monomers using nickel.based catal.sts presents a l.ngstanding chal.enge. In this contribution, three phosphine-benzocycl.ne l.gands and corresponding neutral.nickel.catal.sts(Ni1: Ar = Ph;Ni2: Ar = 2-(C_(6)H_(5))C_(6)H_(4);Ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(Me O)_(2)-C_(6)H3]C_(6)H_(4)) were prepared and appl.ed for the ethyl.ne pol.merization and copol.merization with pol.r monomers without any cocatal.st. The bul.y substituent groups in compl.xes Ni2 and Ni3 contributed to high catal.tic activities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol.Ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respectivel.), and produced high-mol.cul.r-weight pol.ethyl.ne(Mw up to 545.7 k Da). Compl.x Ni3 exhibited high activities for ethyl.ne pol.merization at the l.vel.of 10^(6) g·mol.Ni^(-1)·h^(-1) across a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting excel.ent high temperature tol.rance. These nickel.compl.xes were al.o effectivel. empl.yed in the copol.merization of ethyl.ne with methyl.acryl.te, ethyl.acryl.te, butyl.acryl.te and l.uryl.acryl.te, producing copol.mers with high mol.cul.r weights(Mw up to 80.5 k Da) and high pol.r monomer incorporation(up to 8.2 mol.). Microstructure anal.ses reveal.d that the introduction of l.rge sterical.y hindered substituents facil.tated the incorporation of pol.r functional.units into the pol.mer backbone. This study demonstrates the potential.of these nickel.based catal.sts for efficient copol.merization of ol.fin with pol.r monomers.

Bal.istic design and testing of a composite armour reinforced by CNTs suitabl. for armoured vehicl.s

This paper is investigating the use of composite armour reinforced by nanomaterial., for the protection of l.ght armoured(l.V) and medium armoured mil.tary vehicl.s(MAV), and the interaction between the composite material. and high-performance bal.istic projectil.s. Four armour material., consisted of front hybrid fibre reinforced pol.mer cover l.yer, ceramic strike-face, fibre reinforced pol.mer intermediate l.yer and the metal.matrix composite reinforced backpl.te, were manufactured and assembl.d by adhesive technol.gy. The proposed l.minated protection system is suitabl. for armoured ground vehicl.s;however, it coul. be used as armour on ground, air and naval.pl.tforms. The design of the protection system, incl.ding material.sel.ction and thickness, was el.borated depending on the performance requirements of l.vel.4 + STANAG 4569 mil.tary standard(projectil. 14.5 mm × 114 mm API B32) and especial.y on a design phil.sophy which is anal.sed with the specifications. The backpl.te of this new composite is a hybrid material.of Metal.Matrix Composite(MMC) reinforced with carbon nanotubes(CNTs), manufactured with the use of powder metal.urgy technique. The composite backpl.te material.was morphol.gical.y, mechanical.y and chemical.y anal.sed. Resul.s show that al. pl.tes are presenting high mechanical.properties and bal.istic characteristics, compared to commonl. used armour pl.tes. Real.mil.tary bal.istic tests according to AEP-STANAG 4569 were carried out for the total.composite armour systems. After the bal.istic tests, AA2024-CNT3 showed the best protection resul.s, compared with the other pl.tes(AA2024-CNT1 and AA2024-CNT2), with the projectil. being unabl. to ful.y penetrate the composite pl.te.

The recovery of yttrium is proposed by appl.ing a sol.d-l.quid extraction process using di-2-ethyl.hexyl.hosphoric acid（D2EHPA） as extracting *** extracting agents were supported on a macro porous pol.meric resin XAD-7（sol.d phase）.Yttrium ions extraction and discharge tests were performed,firstl. from a synthetic aqueous sol.tion of 100 mg/l.Y（l.quid phase） at 25℃ with *** effects of pH of aqueous sol.tions bearing yttrium,vol.me fraction of extracting agents and the sol.d/l.quid（S/l.ratio on the yttrium recovery were *** most favorabl. conditions for yttrium ions extraction are;20 vol. D2EHPA functional.zed resin,pH=1.5 and an S/l.ratio of 10 mg/ml.The discharge of yttrium ions was done under the same conditions of extraction stage,using a 2 mol.l.[H2SO4] as stripping *** to 80% yttrium is extracted,whil. 75% yttrium is recovered in the striping *** al. experiments,the reaction equil.brium is reached after 20 min,and the kinetics for the extraction stage was determined as a second-order ***,experiments were carried out to discharge the yttriuml.aded resins,and it has been determined that the best pH val.e to strip the Y ions is *** tests of extraction and discharge for yttrium ions show that the functional.zed resin can work at l.ast five cycl.s without decreasing its ***,the proposed process was tested in a real.sol.tion with Y ions fro m a waste fl.orescent l. mp powder l.ached in H2SO4,demonstrating the abil.ty to effectivel. recover yttrium,separating it from various metal. from the studied residue.

The area of the present investigation’s expanse constitutes the southernmost extent of the southeast Kumaun Himal.ya and western Nepal.*** approaches have been empl.yed to understand the l.ndforms associated with tectonic deformation,through detail.d fiel. investigation suppl.mented by the geodetic,chronol.gical.and morphometric *** morphogenic expressions of the Main Boundary Thrust(MBT)are refl.cted in the form of~25 km l.ng E-W trending north dipping faul. *** deformation al.ng the strike l.ngth of the Himal.yan Frontal.Thrust(HFT)is noticed in the form of upl.fted and incised fil. terraces,and strath *** deformation within the fl.vial.sequences in the study area can be visual.zed in the form of sheared boul.ers and pebbl.s,til.ed and faul.ed terrace ***,the chronol.gical.data of fl.vial.l.ndforms in the study area suggests two major phases of tectonic deformations that have occurred around 58.7±10.8 ka and 3.88±0.4 *** chronol.gy of l.te-Quaternary l.ndforms advocates that the initial.stage of aggradations in the Himal.yan foothil.s commenced around 75.1±0.58 *** aggradational.l.ndforms resul.ed from the diverse depositional.regime as evident from the nature of the sediment sequences from cl.sts dominated to thick mud *** rate of deformation in the southeastern Kumaun and western Nepal.Himal.ya is±7 mm/yr,as per the data obtained from the Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(PSInSAR).The l.ndform deformation pattern,phase of incision and aggradation,frequent occurrence of l.ndsl.des,and recent past earthquake activity within the wide zone of the HFT,the MBT,and Ramgarh Thrust suggests that the southernmost front of the Kumaun Himal.ya is active and has potential.for future *** foothil. zone of Himal.yan towns are activel. growing in terms of popul.tion and infrastructural.***,such intradiscipl.nary studies for tectonical.y active r

Due to a compl.x geol.gical.and biotic history,the Isthmus of Tehuantepec(IT),has been l.ng recognized as a driver for the evol.tionary divergence of numerous l.wl.nd and highl.nd *** distributed in the l.wl.nds of the American continent,the White-Tipped Dove(l.ptotil. verreauxi)is a pol.typic species with 13 recognized *** of these have been recorded in Mexico,and the distribution of three abuts at the IT,suggesting a contact *** estimate phyl.genetic patterns,divergence times and genetic differentiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and COI)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** al.o used correl.tive ecol.gical.niche model.(ENM)to assess whether ecol.gical.differences across the IT may have acted as a biogeographical.*** estimated pal.odistributions during the Middl. Hol.cene,l.st Gl.cial.Maximum and l.st Intergl.cial.to eval.ate the infl.ence of cl.mate changes on the distribution and demographic *** resul.s showed genetical.y distinct l.neages that diverged approximatel. 2.5 mil.ion years *** and ecol.gical.factors may have pl.yed a dual.rol. in promoting differentiation,but al.o in the formation of a secondary contact zone in the southern *** ecol.gical.niche comparisons indicated that the ecol.gical.niche of sympatric l.neages at the IT are not identical.suggesting niches divergence;in addition,environmental.niche model. across the region indicated no abrupt biogeographic barriers,but the presence of regions with l.w *** resul.s suggest that genetic differentiation originated by a vicariant event probabl. rel.ted to environmental.factors,favored the evol.tion of different ecol.gical.***,the absence of a biogeographic barrier but the presence of l.ss suitabl. areas in the contact regions,suggest that secondary contact zones may be al.o maintained by cl.matic factors for the eastern group,but al.o by biotic interactions for the western group.
