The Cu-based shape memory alloy(SMA)with highly oriented columnar crystals is an ideal candidate for the commercial application,especially the ones obtained through rapid cooling via additive manufacturing *** this work,Cu_(71)Al_(18)Mn_(11)(at%)shape memory alloy with strongtexture columnar grains was successfully prepared by selective laser melting(SLM).An L27(313)orthogonal array was designed to systematically investigate the effects of laser power,scanning speed,scanning spacing,layer thickness and their interactions on the forming quality of Cu_(71)Al_(18)Mn_(11)***_(71)Al_(18)Mn_(11)alloys with density of 7.3204 g·cm^(-3)and relative density of 99.18%were successfully prepared when the laser power,scanning speed,scanning distance and layer thickness were 240 W,1000 mm·s^(-1),0.11 mm and 25μm,the transformation onset temperature(Ms),martensite phase transformation termination temperature(Mf),austenite phase transformation onset temperature(AS)and austenite phase transformation termination temperature(Af)are-21.84,-26.04,-15.75 and-12.36℃,*** compression strength and fracture strain along the building direction(BD)were significantly superior to the scanning direction(SD),while the superelasticity of compression along the SD reached 2.50%,which was better than that of2.32%along *** mechanical property and superelasticity anisotropy due to the formation of columnar grains and texture were *** study shows that SLM is a proposed method for the preparation of Cu-Al-Mn SMAs with high superelasticity,which provides a new strategy for enhancing the shape memory alloy superelasticity.

Intrigued by our recent experimental work(*** and ***-u,*** Eng.,133(2011),041302),the present study numerically investigate theﬂow-structure interactions(FSI)of three rigid circular particles aligned moving in an inclined channelﬂow at intermediate Reynolds numbers by using a momentum-exchanged immersed boundary-lattice Boltzmann method.A"frog-leap"phenomenon observed in the experiment is successfully captured by the present simulation and ﬂow characteristics and underlying FSI mechanisms of it are explored by examining the ef-fects of the channel inclined angles and Reynolds *** is found that the asym-metric difference of the vorticity distributions on the particle surface is the main cause of the"frog-leap"when particle moves in the boundary layer near the lower channel boundary.

This paper presents a smart energy community management approach which is capable of implementing P2P trading and managing household energy storage systems.A smart residential community concept is proposed consisting of domestic users and a local energy pool,in which users are free to trade with the local energy pool and enjoy cheap renewable energy while avoiding the installation of new energy generation *** local energy pool could harvest surplus energy from users and renewable resources,at the same time it sells energy at a higher price than Feed-in-Tariff(FIT)but lower than the retail *** order to encourage the participation in local energy trading,the electricity price of the energy pool is determined by a real-time demand/supply *** this pricing mechanism,retail price,users and renewable energy could all affect the electricity price which leads to higher consumers’profits and more optimized utilization of renewable *** proposed energy trading process was modeled as a Markov Decision Process(MDP)and a reinforcement learning algorithm was adopted to find the optimal decision in the MDP because of its excellent performance in on-going and model-free *** addition,the fuzzy inference system makes it possible to use Q-learning in continuous state-space problems(Fuzzy Q-learning)considering the infinite possibilities in the energy trading *** evaluate the performance of the proposed demand side management system,a numerical analysis is conducted in a community comparing the electricity costs before and after using the proposed energy management system.

Identifying the geometric information of an object by analyzing the detected radiation fields is an important problem for national and global *** the present work,an inverse radiation transport model,based on the enhanced differential evolution algorithm with global and local neighborhoods(IRT-DEGL),is developed to estimate the unknown layer thickness of the source/shield system with the gamma-ray *** framework is briefly introduced with the emphasis on handling the enhanced differential evolution *** the simulated gamma-ray spectra,the numerical precision of the IRT-DEGL model is evaluated for one-dimensional source *** the detected gamma-ray spectra,the inverse investigations for the unknown thicknesses of multiple shielding layers are *** comparing with the traditional gamma-ray absorption method,it is shown that the IRT-EDGL model can provide a much more accurate result and has great potential to be applied for the complicated systems.

The engineering of the electronic configurations of active sites,together with the production of more accessible active sites through heterostructure design,has been established as a forceful methodology for boosting water electrolysis ***,a facile approach is developed to fabricate well-dispersed MoO_(2) and WO_(2) nanoparticles with abundant heterointerfaces entrapped in N,P-doped carbon nanofibers(referred to as MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs hereafter)as hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts in alkaline and acidic *** spectroscopic analyses and theoretical findings manifest that the heterointerface formed by the work function modulation of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) triggers the spontaneous electron redistribution from MoO_(2)to WO_(2) and a built-in electric field,which is essential to promote water adsorption,optimize the H-intermediate adsorption energy,result in the enhanced charge transfer efficiency,and ultimately increase the intrinsic HER ***,the intimate confinement of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) heterostructures in the porous carbon substrate can restrain the active sites from unfavorable coarsening and detachment,thus ensuring facilitated HER kinetics and outstanding structural *** a result,MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs exhibit superior catalytic HER performance in acidic and basic solutions,requiring 118 and 95 mV overpotentials to achieve 10 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,surpassing a number of reported non-noble metal-based *** work provides guidelines for the rational design and construction of special metallic heterocomponents with optimized interfacial electronic structure for various electrochemical technologies.

We report an effective method to improve the formation of nickel stanogermanide（Ni Ge Sn） by the incorporation of a platinum（Pt） interlayer. After the Ni/Pt/Ge Sn samples are annealed we obtain uniform Ni Ge Sn thin films,which are characterized by means of sheet resistance, atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy,cross-section transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy. These results show that the presence of Pt increases the smoothness and uniform morphology of Ni Ge Sn films.

Chronic stress leads to many psychiatric disorders,including social and anxiety disorders that are associated with over-activation of neurons in the basolateral amygdala(BLA).However,not all individuals develop psychiatric diseases,many showing considerable resilience against stress *** BLA neuronal activity is involved in regulating an individual’s vulnerability to stress remains *** this study,using a mouse model of chronic social defeat stress(CSDS),we divided the mice into susceptible and resilient subgroups based on their social interaction *** in vivo fiber photometry and in vitro patch-clamp recording,we showed that CSDS persistently(after 20 days of recovery from stress)increased BLA neuronal activity in all the mice regardless of their susceptible or resilient nature,although impaired social interaction behavior was only observed in susceptible *** anxiety-like behavior,on the other hand,was evident in both ***,the CSDS-induced increase of BLA neuronal activity correlated well with the heightened anxiety-like but not the social avoidance behavior in *** findings provide new insight to our understanding of the role of neuronal activity in the amygdala in mediating stress-related psychiatric disorders.

BACKGROUND Urothelial encrusted pyelo-ureteritis disease is an infrequent condition and there is no unified surgical treatment and reference standard to *** have used a minimally invasive endoscopic method to treat three such cases,which yielded excellent *** SUMMARY The first case was a 45-year-old man who had unilateral ureteropelvic junction(UPJ)atresia and contralateral stenosis and was treated by double endoscopic surgery using an anterograde percutaneous nephroscope coupled with a rigid retrograde *** second case was a 12-year-old boy who received a percutaneous nephroscopy on one side and a percutaneous nephroscopy with a rigid ureteroscope on the other side due to the presence of bilateral UPJ *** third case was a 32-year-old woman with bilateral lower ureteral stricture treated using a rigid retrograde *** surgeries were successfully performed on all the three *** degrees of encrustation and erosion of the urothelium were observed during the *** calcified layer composition analysis showed magnesium ammonium phosphate or carbonate *** patients achieved a good *** Minimally invasive endoscopic treatment for urothelial encrusted pyelo-ureteritis disease can yield better results.

BACKGROUND: Ampullary carcinoma is a neoplasia with a good prognosis compared to pancreatic cancer. But it is difficult to early diagnose because it lacks clear clinical symptoms. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of abdominal ultrasonography (US), enhanced computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in detecting ampullary carcinoma. METHODS: Forty-one patients with ampullary carcinoma who had been confirmed pathologically among the inpatients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from February 2003 to March 2007 were analyzed retrospectively. The accuracy of US, CT, MRCP and ERCP were compared in the diagnosis of ampullary carcinoma. RESULTS: The accurate rate for detection of ampullary carcinoma with US was 26.83%. The accuracy of CT and ERCP in detection of ampullary tumors was 84.62% and 100%, respectively, which were significantly higher than that of US (P<0.05). The accuracy of MRCP in detection of ampullary tumors was similar to that of US in spite of visualization of obstruction and dilatation of the pancreaticobiliary duct with MRCP. CONCLUSIONS: Because of the obscure and late onset of symptoms, ampullary carcinoma is difficult to diagnose early. Multiple imaging techniques should be carried out appropriately in order to early diagnose the disease and improve the prognosis.
