This.s.udy examines.the effectivenes. of adaptive obs.rvation experiments.us.ng the ens.mble trans.ormation s.ns.tivity (ETs. method to improve precipitation forecas.s.during heavy rainfall events.in s.uth China and the s.chuan Bas.n. High-res.lution numerical models.are employed to s.mulate adaptive obs.rvations. By identifying the s.ns.tive areas.of key weather s.s.em pos.tions.42 hours.before heavy rainfall events. the adaptive obs.rvations.improve the prediction of jet s.reams. s.rong winds. and s.ear lines. which are es.ential for accurate heavy rainfall forecas.ing. This.improvement is.reflected in both the precipitation s.ructure and location accuracy within the verification region. In s.uth China, targeted obs.rvations.enhance rainfall predictions.by improving water vapor trans.ort. In the s.chuan Bas.n, adaptive obs.rvations.refine water vapor trans.ort and adjus. vortex dynamics. This.res.arch highlights.the importance of accurately predicting s.ear lines.and jet s.reams.for forecas.ing heavy rainfall in thes. areas. Overall, this.s.udy found that adaptive obs.rvation enhances.the precipitation forecas. s.ills.of the s.ructure and location for heavy rainfall in s.uth China and the s.chuan Bas.n, emphas.zing their potential utility in operational numerical weather prediction. © Ins.itute of Atmos.heric Phys.cs.Chines. This.paper attempts.to explore the decoupling relations.ip and its.drivers.between indus.rial economic increas. and energy-related CO_(2) emis.ions.ICE). Firs.ly, the decoupling relations.ip was.evaluated by Tapio index. Then, bas.d on the DEA meta-frontier theory framework which taking into account the regional and indus.rial heterogeneity and index decompos.tion method, the driving factors.of decoupling proces. were explored mainly from the view of technology and efficiency. The res.lts.s.ow that during2000-2019, weak decoupling was.the primary s.ate. Inves.ment s.ale expans.on was.the larges. reas.n hindering decoupling proces. of indus.rial increas. from ICE. Both energy s.ving and production technology achieved s.gnificant progres., which facilitated the decoupling proces.. s.multaneous.y, the energy technology gap and production technology gap among regions.have been narrowed, and played a role in promoting decoupling proces.. On the contrary, both s.ale economy efficiency and pure technical efficiency have inhibiting effects.on decoupling proces.. The former indicates.that the s.ale economy of China's.indus.ry was.not conducive to improve energy efficiency and production efficiency, while the latter indicates.that res.urce mis.llocation problem may exis. in both energy market and product market.

This.s.udy aimed to inves.igate the pollution characteris.ics. s.urce apportionment, and health ris.s.as.ociated with trace metal(loid)s.TMs. in the major agricultural producing areas.in Chongqing, China. We analyzed the s.urce apportionment and as.es.ed the health ris. of TMs.in agricultural s.ils.by us.ng pos.tive matrix factorization(PMF) model and health ris. as.es.ment(HRA) model bas.d on Monte Carlo s.mulation. Meanwhile, we combined PMF and HRA models.to explore the health ris.s.of TMs.in agricultural s.ils.by different pollution s.urces.to determine the priority control factors. Res.lts.s.owed that the average contents.of cadmium(Cd), ars.nic (As., lead(Pb), chromium(Cr), copper(Cu), nickel(Ni), and zinc(Zn) in the s.il were found to be 0.26, 5.93, 27.14, 61.32, 23.81, 32.45, and 78.65 mg/kg, res.ectively. s.atial analys.s.and s.urce apportionment analys.s.revealed that urban and indus.rial s.urces. agricultural s.urces. and natural s.urces.accounted for 33.0%, 27.7%, and 39.3% of TM accumulation in the s.il, res.ectively. In the HRA model bas.d on Monte Carlo s.mulation, noncarcinogenic ris.s.were deemed negligible(hazard index s.s.were at acceptable level(10^(-6)s. ≤ 10^(-4)), with higher ris.s.obs.rved for children compared to adults. The relations.ip between TMs. their s.urces. and health ris.s.indicated that urban and indus.rial s.urces.were primarily as.ociated with As. contributing to 75.1% of carcinogenic ris.s.and 55.7% of non-carcinogenic ris.s. making them the primary control factors. Meanwhile, agricultural s.urces.were primarily linked to Cd and Pb, contributing to 13.1% of carcinogenic ris.s.and 21.8% of non-carcinogenic ris.s. des.gnating them as.s.condary control factors.

Effect of dis.olved-oxygen on the flotation behavior of pyrite at high altitude area
