Habitats shape root-associated fungal and bacterial communities of Minjiang fir saplings

Root-associated microbes play an essentialrole in mediating plant growth,health,and habitat ***,it is unknown which microbial taxa help develop host fitness and how habitats shape root-associated microbial assembly *** an endemic species of subalpine forests in western Sichuan,China,Minjiang fir(Abies fargesii ***)is dominant on cold-shaded northwestern slopes while absent on warm sunlit southwestern *** this study,fungal and bacterial communities were investigated in three spatial compartments(endosphere,rhizosphere,and bulk soil)associated with Minjiang fir saplings on a cold-shaded northwestern slope and a warm sunlit southwestern *** differentiated the microbial communities regardless of the spatial compartment and microbial *** aspect variations caused shifts in root-associated(rhizosphere and endosphere)microbial *** with the southwestern slope,the cold-shaded northwestern slope harbored a higher abundance of the growth-promoting bacteria Burkholderia and ectomycorrhizal fungi Cortinarius and *** slope aspect had stronger effects on fungal diversity than bacterial diversity,with higher fungal endemism and lower bacterial *** aspect variations were the dominant drivers of root-associated microbial communities,with lower contribution by soil properties and higher contribution by plant traits on the northwestern *** from this study could improve the understanding of plant habitat adaptability from the perspective of microbial community *** is suggested that forest management should consider root-associated microbiomes for enhancing species fitness and habitat adaptability.

Developing China's roadmap for air quality improvement:A review on technology development and future prospects

Air pollution control policies in China have been experiencing profound changes,highlighting a strategic transformation from total pollutant emission control to air quality improvement,along with the shifting targets starting from acid rain and NO_(x)emissions to PM_(2.5)pollution,and then the emerging O_(3)*** marvelous achievements have been made with the dramatic decrease of SO_(2)emission and fundamental improvement of PM_(2.5)*** these achievements,China has proposed Beautiful China target through 2035 and the goal of 2030 carbon peak and 2060 carbon neutrality,which impose stricter requirements on air quality and synergistic mitigation with Greenhouse Gas(GHG)*** this background,an integrated multi-objective and multi-benefit roadmap is required to provide decision support for China’s long-term air quality improvement *** paper systematically reviews the technical system for developing the air quality improvement roadmap,which was integrated from the research output of China’s National Key R&D Program for Research on Atmospheric Pollution Factors and Control Technologies(hereafter Special NKP),covering mid-and long-term air quality target setting techniques,quantitative analysis techniques for emission reduction targets corresponding to air quality targets,and pathway optimization techniques for realizing reduction *** experience and lessons derived from the reviews have implications for the reformation of China’s air quality improvement roadmap in facing challenges of synergistic mitigation of PM_(2.5)and O_(3),and the coupling with climate change mitigation.

Relations between tangle and I concurrence for even n-qubit states

Gilad Gour and Nolan R Wallach [J. Math. Phys. 51 112201(2010)] have proposed the 4-tangle and the square of the I concurrence. They also gave the relationship between the 4-tangle and the square of the I concurrence. In this paper, we give the expression of the square of the I concurrence and the n-tangle for six-qubit and eight-qubit by some local unitary transformation invariant. We prove that in six-qubit and eight-qubit states there exist strict monogamy laws for quantum correlations. We elucidate the relations between the square of the I concurrence and the n-tangle for six-qubit and eight-qubits. Especially, using this conclusion, we can show that 4-uniform states do not exist for eight-qubit states.

Trends and Age-Period-Cohort Effect on Acute Hepatitis B Incidence—China,2005-2021

Introduction:This study analyzed long-term trends in the incidence of acute hepatitis B(AHB)in China,focusing on age,period,and cohort effects on ***:Data on AHB from 2005 to 2021 were extracted from the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System(NNDRS)of China for *** of AHB were calculated by gender and age group using population denominators from the 2000,2010,and 2020 *** regression was employed to evaluate trends,and an age-period-cohort model was used to assess the age,period,and cohort ***:The annual average incidence of reported AHB in children aged 14 years and below in low,intermediate,and high endemic areas decreased from 1.65,2.33,and 2.56 per 100,000 in 2005-2010 to 0.56,0.58,and 0.48 per 100,000 in the 2016-2021 *** 15-39-year age group in high endemic areas exhibited the most significant decline in incidence,dropping from 23.14 per 100,000 in 2005 to 4.59 per 100,000 in 2021 among males and from 10.62 per 100,000 to 3.21 per 100,000 among ***-period-cohort analysis indicated decreasing age,period,and cohort effects for reported AHB incidence in each endemic area,except for a slight upward trend in the 15-19-year age group and in the cohort born between 1951 and ***:This study demonstrated a rapid decline in AHB incidence across various endemic areas since *** aged 14 years and below exhibited very low AHB incidences,while the incidence among individuals over 15 years was *** further reduce AHB incidence,hepatitis B vaccine(HepB)coverage should be enhanced among adolescents and adults.

牛乳过敏是由牛乳中蛋白质引起的不良免疫介导反应,多发于人类生命早期,常涉及皮肤、呼吸系统和消化系统,现已成为婴幼儿时期最主要的食物过敏问题,若不及时治疗对婴幼儿的生长发育有一定影响,严重者可引发全身过敏性休克甚至死亡。目前,服用益生菌成为缓解牛乳过敏的重要方法,然而,益生菌调节牛乳过敏的机制相对复杂,尚无明确具体的结论。本文综述了牛乳过敏的免疫机制、肠道微生物群与牛乳过敏的相关性,并从调节肠道菌群、增强肠道屏障、促进肠黏膜免疫和分解牛乳过敏原蛋白等方面重点阐述了益生菌缓解牛乳过敏的作用机制。本研究将有助于探索益生菌在胃肠道功能和代谢中的抗过敏作用,以期为食物过敏的预防及治疗提供新的思路。

Acute Hepatitis B--China,2005−2019

Introduction:Hepatitis B is a major public health threat in *** subtyping of acute hepatitis B(AHB)has been reported to China’s National Notifiable Disease Reporting System(NNDRS)since *** divided the years since NNDRS reporting started into three stages:a“primary stage”(2005−2008),a“catch-up stage”(2009−2012),and an“AHB surveillance pilot stage”(2013−2019).We evaluated characteristics of AHB and progress towards AHB control in these three ***:We obtained data on cases reported to NNDRS between January 1,2005 and December 31,2019 and compared the annual incidence of reported AHB in each of the three stages by region,age,and ***:The incidence of reported AHB declined from 7.52 per 100,000 in 2005 to 3.21 per 100,000 in 2019—a decrease of 57.31%.The annual incidences of AHB in the primary stage,the catch-up stage,and the AHB surveillance pilot stage were 7.45 per 100,000,5.78 per 100,000,and 4.26 per 100,000,respectively;7 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)had an annual incidence of more than 10 per 100,000 in the primary stage,5 PLADs in the catch-up stage,and 1 in the AHB surveillance pilot *** group aged 20−29 years old had the highest annual rate of reported AHB in the primary stage(14.35 per 100,000)and in the catch-up stage(10.42 per 100,000),and the group aged 30−39 years old had the highest annual rate in the surveillance pilot stage(5.89 per 100,000).AHB affected males and females in all age *** and Implications for Public Health Practice:The incidence of AHB had decreased significantly since the start of the NNDRS reporting in 2005,but additional action is needed to eliminate AHB in *** B vaccine(HepB)coverage in adults should be increased to reduce new AHB cases among people over 20 years old,epidemiological investigations of AHB cases should be conducted to identify risk factors for infection,and prevention of mother-to-child transmission needs to be strengthened.

Luteolin induces hippocampal neurogenesis in the Ts65Dn mouse model of Down syndrome

Studies have shown that the natural flavonoid luteolin has neurotrophic activity. In this study, we investigated the effect of luteolin in a mouse model of Down syndrome. Ts65 Dn mice, which are frequently used as a model of Down syndrome, were intraperitoneally injected with 10 mg/kg luteolin for 4 consecutive weeks starting at 12 weeks of age. The Morris water maze test was used to evaluate learning and memory abilities, and the novel object recognition test was used to assess recognition memory. Immunohistochemistry was performed for the neural stem cell marker nestin, the astrocyte marker glial fibrillary acidic protein, the immature neuron marker DCX, the mature neuron marker NeuN, and the cell proliferation marker Ki67 in the hippocampal dentate gyrus. Nissl staining was used to observe changes in morphology and to quantify cells in the dentate gyrus. Western blot assay was used to analyze the protein levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) and phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(p-ERK1/2) in the hippocampus. Luteolin improved learning and memory abilities as well as novel object recognition ability, and enhanced the proliferation of neurons in the hippocampal dentate gyrus. Furthermore, luteolin increased expression of nestin and glial fibrillary acidic protein, increased the number of DCX^+ neurons in the granular layer and NeuN^+ neurons in the subgranular region of the dentate gyrus, and increased the protein levels of BDNF and p-ERK1/2 in the hippocampus. Our findings show that luteolin improves behavioral performance and promotes hippocampal neurogenesis in Ts65 Dn mice. Moreover, these effects might be associated with the activation of the BDNF/ERK1/2 pathway.

Relationship between stand characteristics and soil properties of two typical forest plantations in the mountainous area of Western Sichuan, China

There is uncertainty and limited knowledge regarding stand characteristics and soil properties of middle-aged pure forest plantations in the mountainous area of Western Sichuan. Plantation forests are almost exclusively planted as monocultures in the Pengzhou forest farm in the western mountainous area of Sichuan Province. This study aimed to assess the spatial and ecological characteristics of middle-aged Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook. and Cryptomeria fortunei Hooibr. in the Pengzhou forest farm. The relationships and differences between stand growth characteristics and forest soil composition were assessed on the two forests planted simultaneously within the same area and exposed to the same environmental conditions. Cr. fortunei grew sparse, and slower than Cun. lanceolata. Principal component analysis indicated that the soil properties in the Cr. fortunei plantation were better than those in the Cun. lanceolata plantation. Redundancy analysis revealed that the differences in stand structure were affected significantly by the total nitrogen content and pH value. Thus, we propose that Cr. fortunei is planted for priority consideration in the subtropical high mountain area. Further, tending operations and application of fertilizers need to be conducted in Cun. lanceolata forests. Based on theoretical and experimental data, the present study explains why local farmers are more willing to plant Cr. fortunei, and thus provides a useful theoretical reference for the development of sustainable plantations in the future.

Surface integrity characterization of thirdgeneration nickel-based single crystal blade tenons after ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding

Machined surface integrity of workpieces in harsh environments has a remarkable influence on their ***,the complexity of the new type of machining hinders a comprehensive understanding of machined surface integrity and its formation mechanism,thereby limiting the study of component *** increasing demands for high-quality machined workpieces in aerospace industry applications,researchers from academia and industry are increasingly focusing on post-machining surface *** profile grinding test was conducted on a novel single-crystal superalloy to simulate the formation of blade tenons,and the obtained tenons were characterized for surface integrity elements under various operating *** revealed that ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding(UVAG)led to multiple superpositions of abrasive grain trajectories,causing reduced surface roughness(an average reduction of approximately29.6%)compared with conventional *** examining the subsurface layer of UVAG using transmission electron microscopy,the results revealed that the single-crystal tenon grinding subsurface layer exhibited a gradient evolution from the near-surface to the *** evolution was characterized by an equiaxed nanocrystalline layer measuring 0.34μm,followed by a submicrocrystalline grain-forming zone spanning 0.6μm and finally,a constituent phase-twisted dis-torted deformation zone over 0.62μ*** normal grinding conditions,the tenon exhibited low surface hardening(not exceeding 15%),and residual compressive stresses were observed on its *** cases where grinding burns occurred,a white layer appeared on the tenon's surface,which demonstrated varying thicknesses along the teeth from top to root due to thermal-force-structural coupling ***,these burns introduced residual tensile stresses on the tenon's surface,potentially substantially affecting its fatigue *** paper enhances our understanding of UVAG pro
