Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most prevalent human cancers with high *** non-coding RNA heart and neural crest derivatives expressed 2 anti-sense 1(HAND2-AS1)is down-regulated in several cancers including HCC,yet the precise mechanisms how HAND2-AS1 regulates cell survival in HCC remains poorly ***:The expression levels of HAND2-AS1 and miR-300 were measured using quantitative real-time *** protein levels of suppressor of cytokine signaling 5(SOCS5),Bcl-2,Bax and cleaved caspase-3 were determined by Western *** viability and cell proliferation were assessed using cell counting kit-8 and clone formation assay,*** apoptosis was detected using flow *** interactions between HAND2-AS1 and miR-300,miR-300 and SOCS5 were validated using luciferase reporter ***:HAND2-AS1 was down-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines,and the expression level of HAND2-AS1 was positively correlated to patient ***2-AS1 over-expression reduced viability and proliferation in HCC *** HAND2-AS1 level induced apoptosis in HCC cells,accompanied with increased Bax and cleaved caspase-3 levels and decreased Bcl-2 *** also validated that HAND2-AS1 acted as a sponge of miR-300,and there was a negative correlation between expression levels of HAND2-AS1 and miR-300 in HCC ***,we found that SOCS5 was a downstream target of *** addition,miR-300 mimics abolished HAND2-AS1-mediated inhibition of cell viability and ***-300 mimics also reversed the HAND2-AS1-induced apoptosis in HCC ***:lncRNA HAND2-AS1 inhibits proliferation in HCC through regulating miR-300/SOCS5 axis.

Texture evolution of commercial pure Ti during cold rolling and recrystallization annealing

X-ray diffraction （XRD） was employed to analyze the texture evolution of commercial pure （CP） Ti during cold rolling and re- crystallization annealing. The texture components were measured by electron backscattered diffraction （EBSD） after recrystallization an- nealing. The CP Ti tends to form a texture with the basal pole tilted 30°-40° away from the normal direction toward the transverse direction. The texture of the initial hot-rolled plate can be classified into three kinds, i.e., the pyramid texture （1013）[5230] and （2021）[1015], the basal plane texture （0001）[2110], and the stronger_prism_texture （1120）[0001]. After cold rolling and annealing （700℃,60 min）,_the main texture components are the cold-rolled texture （1125）[1123] and the recrystallized texture （1013）[5230]. The texture （2021）[1015] is in- herited from the texture of the initial hot-rolled plate with the decrease of orientation density gradually. The volume contents of the cold-rolled texture {2115}（0110） and the recrystallized texture {1013}（1210） are calculated by EBSD. After recrystallization annealing, the specimen is rich in the recrystallized texture and inherits some of texture components from the cold-rolled texture. When the annealing time is prolonged, the anisotropic value decreases.

Dynamic Asset Allocation with Loss Aversion in a Jump-diffusion Model

This paper investigates a dynamic asset allocation problem for loss-averse investors in a jumpdiffusion model where there are a riskless asset and N risky assets. Specifically, the prices of risky assets are governed by jump-diffusion processes driven by an m-dimensional Brownian motion and a（N- m）-dimensional Poisson process. After converting the dynamic optimal portfolio problem to a static optimization problem in the terminal wealth, the optimal terminal wealth is first solved. Then the optimal wealth process and investment strategy are derived by using the martingale representation approach. The closed-form solutions for them are finally given in a special example.

Enhanced Mechanics in injection Molded isotactic Polypropylene/Polypropylene Random Copolymer Blends via introducing Network-like Crystal Structure

The crystallization behavior, rheological behavior, mechanical properties and microstructures of injection molded isotactic polypropylene （iPP）, polypropylene random copolymer （co-PP） and iPP/co-PP blends were investigated. Differential scanning calorimetry （DSC） and dynamic rheological analysis illustrated that iPP and co-PP were compatible in the blends and co-PP uniformly dispersed in the/PP phase. Polarizing optical microscope （POM） was adopted to observe the crystal size and morphology evolution. The results of mechanical properties and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） indicated that the crystal size of iPP in iPP/co-PP blends （10 wt% co-PP ＋ 90 wt% iPP and 30 wt% co-PP ＋ 70 wt% iPP） radically decreased after the incorporation of co-PP. During crystallization, the molecular chain segments of co-PP could penetrate iPP spherulites and form a network-like crystalline structure. The network-like crystal structure could effectively transmit stress and consume more energy to overcome intermolecular forces to resist stretching. in this way, the strength would improve to a certain degree. The impact fracture mechanism of iPP/co-PP blends is quasi ductile fracture by multiple crazes. Our work discovered that the blends containing 10 wt% and 30 wt% ofco-PP exhibited prominent toughness and reinforcement.

Hypoxia training attenuates left ventricular remodeling in rabbit with myocardial infarction

Objective Previous studies showed that hypoxia preconditioning could protect cardiac function against subsequent myo-cardial infarction injury. However, the effect of hypoxia on left ventricular after myocardial infarction is still unclear. This study therefore aims to investigate the effects of hypoxia training on left ventricular remodeling in rabbits post myocardial infarction. Methods Adult male rabbits were randomly divided into three groups： group SO （sham operated）, group mi （myocardial infarc-tion only） and group mi-HT （myocardial infarction plus hypoxia training）. Myocardial infarction was induced by left ventricular branch ligation. Hypoxia training was performed in a hypobaric chamber （having equivalent condition at an altitude of 4000 m, FiO214.9%） for 1 h/day, 5 days/week for four weeks. At the endpoints, vascular endothelial growth factor （VEgF） in the plasma was measured. infarct size and capillary density were detected by histology. Left ventricular remodeling and function were as-sessed by *** After the 4-week experiment, compared with the group SO, plasma VEgF levels in groups mi （130.27 ± 18.58 pg/mL,P〈 0.01） and mi-HT （181.93 ± 20.29 pg/mL,P〈 0.01） were significantly increased. infarct size in group mi-HT （29.67% ± 7.73%） was deceased remarkably, while its capillary density （816.0 ± 122.2/mm2） was significantly increased. For both groups mi and mi-HT, left ventricular end-diastolic and end-systolic dimensions were increased whereas left ventricular ejection fraction was decreased. However, compared with group mi, group mi-HT diminished left ventricular end-diastolic （15.86 ± 1.09 mm,P〈 0.05） and end-systolic dimensions （12.10 ± 1.20 mm,P〈 0.01） significantly and im-proved left ventricular ejection fraction （54.39 ± 12.74 mm,P〈 0.05）.ConclusionHypoxia training may improve left ven-tricular function and reduce remodeling via angiogenesis in rabbits with mi.

Aqueous-phase synthesis of upconversion metal-organic frameworks for ATP-responsive in situ imaging and targeted combinational cancer therapy

Herein,the nanoscaled ATP-responsive upconversion metal-organic frameworks(UCMOFs)are aqueousphase synthesized for co-delivery of therapeutic protein cytochrome c(Cyt c)and chemodrugs doxorubicin(DOX),achieving targeted combinational therapy of human cervical *** UCMOFs are rationally fabricated by growing ZiF-90 on mesoporous silica-coated upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs),in which the ZiF-90 layer attenuates the upconversion luminescence(UCL)and the rigid frameworks increase the stability of encapsulated *** the UCMOF@DOX/Cyt c are internalized into hela cells via specific recognition of sgc8 aptamers,the intracellular ATP triggers the dissolution of ZiF-90 into Zn^(2+),which facilitates not only the release of Cyt c and DOX but also the restoration of UCL for real-time monitoring of drug *** has been demonstrated that the therapeutic efficacy is greatly improved by the combination of caspase-mediated apoptosis activated by Cyt c(protein therapeutics),DNA fragmentation induced by DOX(chemotherapy),and Zn;-promoted generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)(oxidative stress).Overall,our proposed multifunctional UCMOFs provide an effective platform for targeted combinational cancer therapy and in situ imaging,which hold great promise in biomedical and clinical applications.

BET inhibition induces gDH1-dependent glutamine metabolic remodeling and vulnerability in liver cancer

Land Suitability Assessment and Land Use Change in Fujian Province,China

To present the current status of land quality and distribution and the trends in land use change, the physical suitability of cropland and forestland and the associated changes in Fujian Province were evaluated and analyzed using data obtained from geographical information systems (giS) and remote sensing (RS).Of the total land area of Fujian Province,first class suitable cropland accounted for only 4.21%, whereas unsuitable cropland accounted for 84.78%. The percentage of first class suitable cropland in the southeastern region (5.32%) was much higher than that in the northwestern area (2.91%).Only 13.63% of the existing cropland area consisted of first class cropland and 70.08% was classified as unsuitable for *** the total land area of Fujian Province,the first class forestland comprised 55.25% and the unsuitable forestland (including third class) comprised 21.2%.The percentage of unsuitable forest area in the existing forestland was only 5.5%.From 1996 to 2001, cropland and unused land decreased significantly, whereas forestland and land used for urban and transport increased ***,the major tasks ahead will be the land development for full grain production potential,the better coordination of allocating land to different uses, and the regulation inappropriate activities that damage agricultural ecosystems.
