Geotechnical monitoring currently plays a key role in the research of the processes taking place in the ground medium and preventing hazardous *** the case of open-pit mining,several solutions are commonly used to monitor various geotechnical ***,geotechnical situation is usually assessed based on recorded values of deep and surface displacement,which allow to accurately predict *** measurements are most often carried out manually,which,due to the difficult terrain conditions in the case of open-pit mining,are often timeconsuming and complicated,especially taking into account dangerous landslide ***,in order to ensure a higher degree of safety against the risk of landslides,modern solutions are required in the field of geotechnical *** article presents modern automatic measurement techniques,compares various solutions available on the market and illustrates the benefits of their application in open-pit *** also discusses the expansion and modernization of the control and measurement network at KWb Turów,carried out in recent years,as well as the observational method for controlling the efficiency of stackers,developed after the installation of automated measuring stations,with its impact on the geotechnical safety of an internal waste *** paper as a case study presents,what a modern and effective geotechnical monitoring system should look like,which in practice will ensure continuous observation of selected parameters and enable a quick response in the event of a landslide *** but not least,the author focuses on the creation of an innovative landslide early warning system,implemented at KWb Turów.

The recent discovery of superconductivity in doped rare-earth infinite-layer nickelates RNiO_(2),R=Nd,Pr as a new family of unconventional superconductors has inspired extensive research on their intriguing *** of the major motivation to explore the nickelate superconductors originated from their similarities with and differences from the cuprate superconductors,which have been extensively studied over the last decades but are still lack of the thorough *** this short review,we summarized our recent investigation of the relevance of Ni/Cu-3d multiplet structure on the hole doped spin states in cuprate and recently discovered nickelate superconductors via an impurity model incorporating all the 3d *** plausible explorations to be conducted are outlined as *** presented work provides an insightful framework for the investigation of the strongly correlated electronic systems in terms of the multiplet structure of transition metal compounds.

Honeybees (Apis mellifera) have haplodiploid sex determination: males develop from unfertilized eggs and females develop from fertilized ones. The differences in larval food also determine the development of females. Here we compared the total somatic gene expression profiles of 2-day and 4-day-old drone, queen and worker larvae by RNASeq. The results from a co-expression network analysis on all expressed genes showed that 2-day-old drone and worker larvae were closer in gene expression profiles than 2-day-old queen larvae. This indicated that for young larvae (2-day-old) environmental factors such as larval diet have a greater effect on gene expression profiles than ploidy or sex determination. Drones had the most distinct gene expression profiles at the 4-day larval stage, suggesting that haploidy, or sex dramatically affects the gene expression of honeybee larvae. Drone larvae showed fewer differences in gene expression profiles at the 2-day and 4-day time points than the worker and queen larval comparisons (598 against 1190 and 1181), suggesting a different pattern of gene expression regulation during the larval development of haploid males compared to diploid females. This study indicates that early in development the queen caste has the most distinct gene expression profile, perhaps reflecting the very rapid growth and morphological specialization of this caste compared to workers and drones. Later in development the haploid male drones have the most distinct gene expression profile, perhaps reflecting the influence of ploidy or sex determination on gene expression.

In order to promote development of linear/branched block polyethylenes based on new catalytic systems,we synthesized a novel *** nickel(Ⅱ)complex with isopropyl substituents on ortho-N-aryl and hydroxymethyl phenyl substituents on para-Naryl *** activity of a-dimine nickl(Ⅱ)catalyst was 3.02x10^(6)g-mol_(ni)^(-1)·h^(-1) at 70℃,and resultant polyethylene possessed 135/1000C *** linear/branched block polyethylenes were synthesized from ethylene polymerization catalyzed by the a-dimine nicke(Ⅱ)complex/bis(phenoxy-imine)zirconium in the presence of diethyI *** the addition of ZnEtz(from 0 to 400),the melting peak of resultant polyethylene changed from a single melting peak to bimodal melting *** molecular weights of resultant polyethylene ranging from 26.8 kg/mol to 17.1 kg/mol and PDI values varying gradually from 24.4 to 15.2 were obtained vla adjusting ZnEt;*** molar ratio of two *** addition,the branching degree of the polyethylene increased from 13/1000C to 56/1000 with the increase of the proportion of a dimine nickel(Ⅱ)*** this binary catalyst system,the reaction temperature of chain shutting polymerization can be carried out at 70℃,which is more conducive to industrial application.
