Phosphorus speciation and colloidal phosphorus responses to short-term cessation of fertilization in a lime concretion black soil

Long-term excessive application of mineral fertilizer has led to soil acidification and phosphorus(P) accumulation, increasing the risk of P loss and environmental pollution, and cessation of fertilization is widely considered as a cost-effective management strategy to relieve this situation;however, how such cessation influences P speciation and concentrations in a bulk soil and colloidal fractions and whether decreasing P concentration might maintain soil fertility remain unclear. In this study, the effects of long-term fertilization(ca. 40 years) and short-term cessation of fertilization(ca. 16 months) on inorganic, organic,and colloidal P in lime concretion black soil were investigated using P sequential fractionation and31P nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. After long-term fertilization, available P, dicalcium phosphate, iron-bound P, orthophosphate monoesters, and orthophosphate diesters increased significantly, but soil p H decreased by ca. 2.8 units, indicating that long-term fertilization caused soil acidification and P accumulation and changed P speciation markedly. In contrast, short-term fertilization cessation increased soil p H by ca. 0.8 units and slightly reduced available and inorganic P. Available P after fertilization cessation was 22.9–29.8 mg kg-1, which was still sufficient to satisfy crop growth requirements. Additionally, fertilization cessation increased the proportions of fine colloids(100–450 nm, including nontronite and some amorphous iron oxides) and drove a significant release of iron/aluminum oxide nanoparticles(1–100 nm) and associated P with orthophosphate and pyrophosphate species. In summary, short-term fertilization cessation effectively alleviated soil acidification and inorganic P accumulation, while concomitantly maintaining soil P fertility and improving the potential mobilization of P associated with microparticles.

Poor conductivity,sluggish ion diffusion kinetics and short cycle life hinder the further development of manganese oxide in aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).Exploring a cathode with high capacity and long cycle life is critical to the commercial development of ***,a two-dimensional(2D) MnO/C composite derived from metal organic framework(MOF) was *** 2D MnO/C cathode exhibits a remarkably cyclic stability with the capacity retention of 90.6% after 900 cycles at 0.5 A·g^(-1) and maintains a high capacity of 120.2 mAh·g^(-1)after 4500 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(-1).It is demonstrated that MnO is converted into Mn_(3)O_(4) through electrochemical activation strategy and shows a Zn^(2+)and H^(+)co-intercalation *** general,this work provides a new path for the development of high-performance AZIBs cathode with controllable morphology.

Toward a high resolution 2-DE profile of the normal human liver proteome using ultra-zoom gels

The human liver is the largest organ in the body and has many important physiological functions. A global analysis of human liver proteins is essential for a better understanding of the molecular basis of the normal functions of the liver and of its diseases. As part of the Human Liver Proteome Project (HLPP), the goal of the present study was to visualize and detect as many proteins as possible in normal human livers using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE). We have constructed a reference map of the proteins of human normal liver that can be used for the comprehensive analysis of the human liver proteome and other related research. To improve the resolution and enhance the detection of low abundance proteins, we developed and optimized narrow pH range ultra-zoom 2-DE gels. High resolution patterns of human liver in pH gradients 4.5-5.5, 5-6, 5.5-6.7, 6-9 and 6-11 are presented. To improve the poor resolution in the alkaline pH range of 2-DE gels, we optimized the isoelectric focusing protocol by including sample application using cup loading at the anode and incorporating 1.2% hydroxyethyl disulfide, 15% 2-propanol and 5% glycerol in the rehydration buffer. Using the optimized protocol, we obtained reproducibly better resolution in both analytical and preparative 2-DE gels. Compared with the 2386 and 1878 protein spots resolved in the wide range 3-10 and 4-7 pH gradients respectively, we obtained 5481 protein spots from the multiple (overlapping) narrow pH range ultra-zoom gels in the range of pH 4.5-9. The visualized reference map of normal human liver proteins presented in this paper will be valuable for comparative proteomic research of the liver proteome.

Electrochemical Formation of AI-Li Alloys by Codeposition of AI and Li from LiCI-KCI-AIF3 Melts at 853 K

The electrochemical behavior of AI（III） ions was studied in molten LiC1-KC1 melts on a molybdenum electrode. Cyclic voltammetry, chronopotentiometry and chronoamperometry were used to explore the deposition mechanism of A1 and Li. Cyclic voltammetry expriment indicates that under potential deposition（UPD） of lithium on pre-deposited aluminium led to the formation of liquid A1-Li alloys at 853 K. The diffusion coefficient of AI（III） ions at 853 K in LiC1-KC1-AIF3（I%, mass fraction） melts was determined to be （2.79~0.05）x 10_5 cm2/s. Chronopotentio- grams and chronoamperograms demonstrate that the codeposition of AI（III） and Li（I） ions formed A1-Li alloys at ca- thodic current densities higher than -0.28 A/cm2 or cathodic potentials more negative than -2.20 V. X-Ray diffrac- tion（XRD） pattern indicates that A1-Li alloys with different phases formed via galvanostatic electrolysis. Inductively coupled plasma（ICP） analyses of the samples obtained by electrolysis show that lithium and aluminium contents of A1-Li alloys could be controlled by A1F3 concentration and current intensity.

Hierarchical porous hard carbon enables integral solid electrolyte interphase as robust anode for sodium-ion batteries

Hard carbon is the most promising anode for sodium-ion battery applications due to the wide availability and low work ***,it often delivers worse electrochemical performance in ester-based ***,a hierarchically porous loose sponge-like hard carbon with a highly disordered phase,prepared from the biomass of platanus bark,exhibits superior rate performance with a capacity of 165 mAh·g-1 at a high current of1 A·g-1,and high retention of 71.5%after 2000 cycles in an ester-based *** effect of the hierarchically porous loose sponge-like structure on the formation dynamics of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI),and related properties,was studied via cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT),X-ray photoelectron spectroscope(XPS),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)*** results reveal that the hierarchically porous structure can construct continued connecting channels and accelerate the electrolyte transport,which is beneficial to the reaction kinetics of ***,the mesoporous structure is conducive to good contact between electrolyte and materials and shortens the Na+diffusion path,which in turn facilitates the charge transfer kinetics in the material.

Clinical Analysis of Patients with Cervical Cancer After Adequate Radiotherapy and Surgery

Objective:To explore the effect of giving adequate radiotherapy before surgery on the recovery of patients with cervical ***:An experimental study was carried out in Aviation General Hospital(hereafter referred as our hospital)from March 2022 to March *** patients with cervical cancer were retrospectively *** patients underwent surgery 15-20 days after adequate external radiotherapy,and the clinical effect was ***:The symptoms of the patients were relieved,among which contact bleeding and irregular vaginal bleeding completely resolved in 27 patients and 19 patients,respectively;although intermittent vaginal bleeding persisted in 3 patients,the symptom improved compared with before treatment;for 1 patient,the treatment was ineffective,as there was no significant improvement in *** patients with stage IB2 cancer,the tumor reduction rate after treatment was about 50%-70%,but the reduction in 2 patients was ***:Cervical cancer is a serious *** radiotherapy before surgery has a significant *** reduces the difficulty of surgery and creates an opportunity for patients to undergo surgery,thus improving the treatment ***,it is worthy of clinical promotion.

Silver thiolate polymers are intercepted to form different structural fragments when reacting with variant solubilizing reagents,which usually serve as the starting point for the preparation of ***,such a process is still far from ***,we report the controlled synthesis of silver-t-butylthiolate clusters from reactions of polymeric[Ag^(t)BuS]n and suitable templates in the presence of solubilizing reagents to offer a detailed look at the mechanism of cluster’s *** the provided solubilizing reagents have weak coordina-tion ability,such as O-or N-donating ligands,the obtained polymeric compound retains the linear structure pat-tern that S and Ag atoms are arranged *** extra templates NO_(3)^(−)and CO_(3)^(2−)are applied,the disk-like clusters Ag_(19)and Ag_(20)are constructed with the same[Ag^(t)BuS]_(5)circles that may directly cyclize from the linear[Ag^(t)BuS]_(n)*** contrast,(EtO)_(2)PS_(2)^(−)and(iPrO)_(2)PS_(2)^(−)anions have large size and strong coordination abil-ity rendering the structure of the polymer completely *** extremely short[Ag^(t)BuS]n pieces with silver ions and solubilizing ligands assemble around the templates V_(2)O_(7)^(4−)and W_(2)O_(9)^(4−),leading to the formation of clusters Ag_(22)and Ag_(24).

The Applicability Analysis of IPv6 Translation Transition Mechanisms

Due to the exhaustion of IPv4 address resources, the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 is inevitable and fairly urgent. Numerous transition mechanisms have been proposed to solve challenging issues of IPv6 transition. An inter-connection between IPv4 and IPv6 networks or hosts requirement has been happening throughout the IPv6 transition process. And one-time translation scheme is indispensable to achieve the inter-connection. In addition, double translation can be used in the IPv4-IPv6-IPv4 scenario. As a long-term strategy, translation scheme is important and inevitable. However, because of the diverse characteristics and transition requirements of practical networks and the lack of applicability analysis, the selection and deployment of transition mechanisms are facing with grand challenges. Targeting at those challenges, this paper investigates the basic issues and key elements of IPv6 translation transition mechanisms, and presents its first applicability index system. In particular, we analyze the applicability of existing proposed translation techniques based on the presented index system, which has significant guidance in the practical deployment of IPv6 transition techniques.
