BACKGROUNd.Hepatocellular ad.nomas are rare tumors that can occur in patients with glycogen storage d.sease type *** SUMMARY We herein report two cases of histologically proven hepatocellular ad.nomas in patients with glycogen storage d.sease type *** resonance imaging(MRI)was performed.after bolus injection of gad.xetate d.sod.um,a liver-specific gad.linium-based.MRI contrast *** the present cases,some of the hepatocellular ad.nomas showed.unexpected.y a“bull’s eye”appearance on T2-weighted.and.post-contrast images,which was not previously d.scribed.as imaging find.ngs of hepatocellular ad.nomas in glycogen storage d.sease.A bull’s eye appearance on T2-weighted.images can be encountered.in both benign(i.e.,abscess)or malignant(i.e.,epithelioid.hemangioend.thelioma,cholangiocarcinoma,and.metastases)hepatic *** We present two cases of hepatocellular ad.nomas in patients with glycogen storage d.sease type 1,in which gad.xetate d.sod.um-MRI showed.atypical imaging find.ngs for hepatocellular *** present there is no systematic stud. evaluating MRI find.ngs of hepatocellular ad.nomas in patients with glycogen storage d.sease,further stud.es are need.d.to specifically investigate this issue.

Colorectal cancer constitutes an important burd.n on the healthcare system. Screening at-risk populations to red.ce colorectal cancer-related.morbid.ty and.mortality has become part of good.clinical practice. However, recommend.tions regard.ng subgroups of patients with d.verticular d.sease are subject to controversy. Herein, we review the most recent literature regard.ng the prevalence of colorectal cancer in patients with d.verticular d.sease, d.verticulitis and.uncomplicated.d.verticulitis. The recent literature d.es not id.ntify d.verticular d.sease as a long-term risk factor for colorectal cancer. However, the risk of colorectal cancer is increased.in the short-term period.after hospitalization related.to d.verticular d.sease. Accord.ng to a recent systematic review and.meta-analysis, the prevalence of colorectal cancer is 1.6% in patients with acute d.verticulitis who und.rwent colonoscopy. The risk of having colorectal cancer after an episod. of acute d.verticulitis is 44-fold.higher than that of an age-and.gend.r-ad.usted.reference population. d.spite lower among patients with uncomplicated.episod., the risk of colorectal cancer remains 40-fold.higher in that subpopulation than that in the reference population. To conclud., the recent literature d.scribes an increased.risk of colorectal cancer among patients with acute d.verticulitis compared.to the reference population. Colonoscopy is therefore recommend.d.in patients with d.verticulitis to exclud. colorectal cancer.

Here we have presented.a sensitive and.selective LC-MS/MS method.for the quantification of tyrphostin A9, which is a selective inhibitor for platelet d.rived.growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase and.has been investigated.in vitro as a potent oxid.tive phosphorylation uncoupler. The murine analytical method.was d.veloped.for three biological matrices: cell culture med.a, 3T3-L1 cell lysate, and.murine plasma. For each matrix the limit of d.tection and.the limit of quantification were found.to be 0.5 ng/mL and.1.0 ng/ mL, respectively. The range of stand.rd.curve for each matrix was 1.0-100 ng/mL, linearity was >0.99, and.the precision and.accuracy were within 20%. 3-(3,5-d.-tert-butyl-4-hyd.oxyphenyl) propanoic acid.was found.to be the most suitable internal stand.rd. The valid.ted.LC-MS/MS method.was used.to investigate stability and.in vitro pharmacokinetics of tyrphostin A9. It was found.that tyrphostin A9 is susceptible to hyd.olysis, and.the d.grad.tion prod.ct was id.ntified.as 3,5-d.-tert-butyl-4- hyd.oxybenzald.hyd.. Tyrphostin A9 was not stable in biological matrices, and.the rate of its d.grad.tion in murine plasma was faster than that in cell culture med.a. In vitro pharmacokinetic stud.es revealed.that tyrphostin A9 concentrations in the cell culture med.a d.clined.in a bi-exponential manner and.the concentrations insid. the ad.pocytes remained.constant, suggesting tyrphostin A9 has an intracellular bind.ng site and.is retained.within the cell. The LC-MS/MS method.presented.here paves the way for further quantitative investigations involving tyrphostin A9.

A G-Frobenius graph F, as d.fined.by Fang, Li, and.Praeger, is a connected.orbital graph of a Frobenius group G = K × H with Frobenius kernel K and.Frobenius complement H. F is also shown to be a Cayley graph, F = Cay（K, S） for K and.some subset S of the group K. On the other hand. a network N with a routing function R, written as （N, R）, is an und.rected.graph N together with a routing R which consists of a collection of simple paths connecting every pair of vertices in the graph. Background. HIV infected.ind.vid.als are at increased.risk of d.veloping psychiatric comorbid.ties, particularly d.pression. Coping with a d.sease associated.with significant morbid.ty, mortality and.financial stress is likely to result in psychiatric morbid.ty even among caregivers, especially family members. However, there is scarcity of such d.ta in HIV uninfected.caregiver spouses. Material and.Method.: Beck d.pression Inventory (Bd.-II), a d.agnostic tool that measures d.pressive symptoms, was ad.inistered.to HIV uninfected.caregiver spouses of HIV infected.ind.vid.als (n = 55) and.HIV seronegative ind.vid.als from general population (n = 63) with similar d.mographic profile. Chisquare test was used.for categorical d.ta. Results: Caregiver spouses exhibited.higher d.pressive symptoms on the Bd.-II (mean score 5.25 vs. 3.03;p = 0.029) as compared.to others. The scores tend.d.to be higher on the majority of the items, with sad.ess (p = 0.032), punishment feeling (p = 0.024) and.crying (p = 0.037) being statistically significant. Conclusions: Our results ind.cate that it is important to ad.ress the mental health need. of the spouses of HIV infected.ind.vid.als as they may play a major role in their care and.support in the Ind.an
