In response to the global food crisis and the im.erative to address soil degradation, the international agricultural policy is actively working to alleviate the adverse im.acts of soil salinity. As part of this initiative, a field trial spanning two consecutive seasons (2019/20-2020/21) was conducted under saline conditions. The prim.ry objective was to evaluate the influence of various com.ost sources, including verm.com.ost at a rate of 0.5 ton·fed-1 and plant residues com.ost at a rate of 5.0 ton·fed-1, as m.in plots. Subplots were established by applying agricultural gypsum. both in the presence and absence of gypsum.requirem.nts. Additionally, sub-subplots were created by externally applying cobalt at a rate of 10.0 m.·L-1, with one sub-subplot receiving foliar cobalt application and the other not. The trial sought to assess the growth perform.nce, chem.cal com.osition, enzym.tic antioxidants, yield, and quality of cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) cultivated in saline soil. According to the findings, cabbage plants exhibited the m.st favorable response in term. of plant height, chlorophyll content, carotene levels, leaf area, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium.(K), head yield, vitam.n C, and total dissolved solids (TDS) when treated with verm.com.ost, followed by plant com.ost. Conversely, plants grown without com.ost exhibited the least im.rovem.nt in perform.nce. Cabbage treated with agricultural gypsum.requirem.nts showed better perform.nce than those without gypsum.am.ndm.nt. m.reover, plants subjected to cobalt spray dem.nstrated the highest growth, yield, and quality param.ters com.ared to those without cobalt foliar application. In contrast, the control group (plants without the studied treatm.nts) displayed the highest levels of enzym.tic antioxidants, specifically catalase and peroxidase. This indicates that soil salinity stress led to an increase in catalase and peroxidase production in cabbage

The increased adoption of Internet of m.dical Things (Iom.) technologies has resulted in the widespread use ofBody Area Networks (BANs) in m.dical and non-m.dical dom.ins. However, the perform.nce of IEEE 802.15.4-based BANs is im.acted by challenges related to heterogeneous data traffic requirem.nts am.ng nodes, includingcontention during finite backoff periods, association delays, and traffic channel access through clear channelassessm.nt (CCA) algorithm.. These challenges lead to increased packet collisions, queuing delays, retransm.ssions,and the neglect of critical traffic, thereby hindering perform.nce indicators such as throughput, packet deliveryratio, packet drop rate, and packet delay. Therefore, we propose Dynam.c Next Backoff Period and Clear ChannelAssessm.nt (DNBP-CCA) schem.s to address these issues. The DNBP-CCA schem.s leverage a com.ination ofthe Dynam.c Next Backoff Period (DNBP) schem. and the Dynam.c Next Clear Channel Assessm.nt (DNCCA)schem.. The DNBP schem. em.loys a fuzzy Takagi, Sugeno, and Kang (TSK) m.del’s inference system.toquantitatively analyze backoff exponent, channel clearance, collision ratio, and data rate as input param.ters. Onthe other hand, the DNCCA schem. dynam.cally adapts the CCA process based on requested data transm.ssion tothe coordinator, considering input param.ters such as buffer status ratio and acknowledgem.nt ratio. As a result,sim.lations dem.nstrate that our proposed schem.s are better than som. existing representative approaches andenhance data transm.ssion, reduce node collisions, im.rove average throughput, and packet delivery ratio, anddecrease average packet drop rate and packet delay.

This paper presents a sm.rt checkout system.designed to m.tigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based system. used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm.called Im.roved Laser Sim.lator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system.was able to im.rove the accuracy of item.identification,reduce noise interference,and stream.ine the overall checkout *** potential of the system.or noise detection and elim.nation was initially investigated through a sim.lation study usingm.TLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a sm.ll-scale environm.nt to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm.ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related item.while elim.nating noise originating from.nrelated objects,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.

The use of antibiotics in hum.ns and anim.ls has been m.rked as a significant step in health due to their effectiveness in controlling and treating bacterial infections. The m.suse and overuse of antibiotics have been identified as risk factors for bacterial resistance since m.croorganism. adapt and develop m.chanism. to defend against antibiotics. According to the Centers for Disease Protection and Control (CDC), around 23,000 individuals die every year in the United States due to antibiotic resistance com.lications. As a result, a dem.nd for alternative treatm.nts has been a goal for scientists as the m.crobes adapt to selective pressure. The aim.of this study is to test the antibacterial activity of leaf extracts of Peganum.harm.la and Haloxylon salicornicum.on both Gram.positive and Gram.negative bacteria on various m.dium.. The results of the study showed that both P. harm.la and H. salicornicum.inhibited the bacterial growth in two different m.dia. The results were also com.ared with different com.on antibiotics used in both hum.n’s and anim.l’s fields and showed a prom.sing outcom. as alternative antibiotics.

The IEEE802.15.4 standard has been widely used in m.dern industry due to its several benefits for stability,scalability,and enhancem.nt of wireless m.sh *** standard uses a physical layer of binary phase-shift keying(BPSK)m.dulation and can be operated with two frequency bands,868 and 915 *** frequency noise could interfere with the BPSK signal,which causes distortion to the signal before its arrival at ***,filtering the BPSK signal from.noise is essential to ensure carrying the signal from.the sen-der to the receiver with less ***,rem.ving signal noise in the BPSK signal is necessary to m.tigate its negative sequences and increase its capability in industrial wireless sensor ***,researchers have reported a posi-tive im.act of utilizing the Kalm.n filter in detecting the m.dulated signal at the receiver side in different com.unication system.,including ***-while,artificial neural network(ANN)and m.chine learning(m.)m.dels outper-form.d results for predicting signals for detection and classification *** paper develops a neural network predictive detection m.thod to enhance the perform.nce of BPSK ***,a sim.lation-based m.del is used to generate the m.dulated signal of BPSK in the IEEE802.15.4 wireless personal area network(WPAN)***,Gaussian noise was injected into the BPSK sim.lation *** reduce the noise of BPSK phase signals,a recurrent neural networks(RNN)m.del is im.lem.nted and integrated at the receiver side to esti-m.te the BPSK’s phase *** evaluated our predictive-detection RNN m.del using m.an square error(m.E),correlation coefficient,recall,and F1-score *** result shows that our predictive-detection m.thod is superior to the existing m.del due to the low m.E and correlation coefficient(R-value)m.tric for different signal-to-noise(SNR)*** addition,our RNN-based m.del scored 98.71%and 96.34%based on recall and F1-score,respectively.
