In this work,we report long-term trends in the abundance and breeding performance of Adélie penguins(Pygoscelis adeliae)nesting in three Antarctic colonies(i.e.,at Martin Point,South Orkneys Islands;Stranger Point/Cabo Funes,South Shetland Islands;and Esperanza/Hope Bay in the Antarctic Peninsula)from 1995/96 to 2022/*** yearly count data of breeding groups selected,we observed a decline in the number of breeding pairs and chicks in crèche at all colonies ***,the magnitude of change was higher at Stranger Point than that in the remaining ***,the index of breeding success,which was calculated as the ratio of chicks in crèche to breeding pairs,exhibited no apparent trend throughout the study ***,it displayed greater variability at Martin Point compared to the other two colonies under *** the number of chicks in crèche of Adélie penguins showed a declining pattern,the average breeding performance was similar to that reported in gentoo penguin colonies,specifically,those undergoing a population increase(even in sympatric colonies facing similar local conditions).Consequently,it is plausible to assume a reduction of the over-winter survival as a likely cause of the declining trend observed,at least in the Stranger Point and Esperanza ***,we cannot rule out local effects during the breeding season affecting the Adélie population of Martin Point.

Background: Pancreaticoduodenectomy is the standard treatment for resectable periampullary cancer. Surgical site infections(SSI) are common complications with increased morbidity. The study aimed to describe the prevalence, risk factors, microbiology, and outcomes of SSI among patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods: We conducted a retrospective study in a referral cancer center between January 2015 and june 2021. We analyzed baseline patient characteristics and SSI occurrence. Culture results and susceptibility patterns were described. Multivariate logistic regression was used to determine risk factors, proportional hazards model to evaluate mortality, and Kaplan-Meier analysis to assess long-term survival. Results: A total of 219 patients were enrolled in the study;101(46%) developed SSI. Independent factors for SSI were diabetes mellitus, preoperative albumin level, biliary drainage, biliary prostheses, and clinically relevant postoperative pancreatic fistula. The main pathogens were Enterobacteria and Enterococci. Multidrug-resistance rate in SSI was high but not associated with increased mortality. Infected patients had higher odds of sepsis, longer hospital stay and intensive care unit stay, and readmission rate. Neither 30-day mortality nor long-term survival was significantly different between infected and non-infected patients. Conclusions: SSI prevalence among patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy was high and largely caused by resistant microorganisms. Most risk factors were related to preoperative instrumentation of the biliary tree. SSI was associated with greater risk of unfavorable outcomes;however, survival was unaffected.

目的探究危重症专职护理对慢阻肺（COPD）患者血气指标及呼吸功能的影响。方法选取2020年1月-2022年7月安福县人民医院收治的70例COPD患者，采用随机数字表法分为对照组（35例）与观察组（35例）。对照组行常规护理，观察组在其基础上应用危重症专职护理，比较两组血气指标[血氧饱和度（SaO2）、血氧分压（PaO2）、血二氧化碳分压（PaCO2）、pH]、呼吸功能[每分钟肺泡通气量（va）、每分钟最大通气量（MVV）、呼气峰值流量（PEF）]、不良事件、机械通气时间、ICU治疗时间、住院时间。结果两组护理后SaO2、PaO2、pH指标高于护理前，PaCO2低于护理前，且观察组SaO2、PaO2、pH指标高于对照组，PaCO2低于对照组（Pva、MVV、PEF指标均高于护理前，且观察组va、MVV、PEF指标高于对照组（P<0.05）；观察组不良事件发生率低于对照组（P<0.05）；观察组机械通气时间、ICU治疗时间、住院时间均短于对照组（P<0.05）。结论危重症专职护理有助于改善COPD患者的血气指标与呼吸功能，减少不良事件，缩短治疗及住院时间。

汉江流域生态综合网络构建与生态安全格局识别研究

汉江流域生态环境优越、自然资源丰富,是“南水北调”的重要水源区,也是连接我国中西部地区社会经济发展的重要纽带,近年来水土流失加剧,洪涝灾害频发,已影响流域社会经济可持续发展,生态安全格局科学构建有利于生态系统保护和生态风险防控。基于景观生态学“斑块—廊道—基质”理论,分别从生态系统服务和生态风险两方面构建汉江流域生态综合网络,通过分析网络要素结构识别生态安全格局。研究发现:(1)流域生态系统调节功能极重要区占流域总面积的25.71%,主要集中在秦巴山地和汉江流域下游地区;生态极敏感区占流域总面积的9.18%,零星分布在汉江谷地、南阳盆地和江汉平原。(2)通过生态网络识别出生态源19个、生态廊道34条、生态保护节点14处,呈现出“大分散、小聚集”的格局;通过生态风险网络识别出风险源22个、生态风险廊道43条、生态修复节点15处,呈现出“大分散”的格局。(3)汉江流域呈现出“西高东低、南高北低”的生态安全格局,保护斑块、保护廊道和保护节点多位于秦巴山地;修复斑块、修复廊道和修复节点多集中在汉江谷地和流域中下游地区;保护与修复节点多位于汉江流域上游地区。(4)秦巴山地承担着保障流域中下游地区生态安全的功能,需要构建山地生态安全屏障;河流水系是生态风险网络中胁迫因子扩散的主要廊道,流域生态保护与修复亟待重视。构建的生态风险网络可进一步完善流域生态安全格局识别方法,并为汉江流域生态环境改善和国土空间高效利用提供参考依据。

Correlation between macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness and visual acuity after resolution of the macular edema secondary to central retinal vein occlusion

AIM： To examine the thickness of the ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer（GCIPL） in eyes with resolved macular edema（ME） in non-ischemic central retinal vein occlusion（CRVO）, applying spectral-domain optical coherence tomography（SD-OCT）, and its relationship with visual ***： The retrospective observational case-control study included 30 eyes of non-ischemic CRVO patients with resolved ME（ME eyes） after treatment, and 30 eyes of non-ischemic CRVO patients without ME（non-ME eyes）. The macular GCIPL thickness, peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer（p RNFL） thickness and central macular thickness（CMT） were measured on a SD-OCT scan. Linear regression analyses were performed to determine the correlation between the thickness of each and the visual acuity（va）.RESULTS： No significant difference in average GCIPL thickness, mean pR NFL thickness and CMT were observed between ME group and non-ME group（P=0.296, 0.183, 0.846）. But, minimum GCIPL thickness was reduced in ME eyes compared with non-ME eyes（P=0.022）. Final va significantly correlated with the minimum GCIPL thickness in ME eyes（r=-0.482, P=0.007）, whereas no correlation was found with average GCIPL thickness, average pR NFL thickness and mean ***： Minimum GCIPL thickness is reduced in ME eyes compared with non-ME eyes, and correlated with the va in non-ischemic CRVO. These results propose that inner retinal damage occurring in patients with ME secondary to non-ischemic CRVO may lead to permanent visual defect after treatment.

A Multi-dimensional Index Structure Based on Improved va-file and CAN in the Cloud

Currently,the cloud computing systems use simple key-value data processing,which cannot support similarity search efectively due to lack of efcient index structures,and with the increase of dimensionality,the existing tree-like index structures could lead to the problem of"the curse of dimensionality".In this paper,a novel VF-CAN indexing scheme is ***-CAN integrates content addressable network(CAN)based routing protocol and the improved vector approximation fle(va-fle) *** are two index levels in this scheme:global index and local *** local index vaK-fle is built for the data in each storage ***-fle is thek-means clustering result of va-fle approximation vectors according to their degree of *** cluster forms a separate local index fle and each fle stores the approximate vectors that are contained in the *** vector of each cluster center is stored in the cluster center information fle of corresponding storage *** the global index,storage nodes are organized into an overlay network CAN,and in order to reduce the cost of calculation,only clustering information of local index is issued to the entire overlay network through the CAN *** experimental results show that VF-CAN reduces the index storage space and improves query performance efectively.

The extraction of bioactive compounds has become one of the most interesting areas of modern *** therapeutic reasons,it´s important to obtain antimicrobial agents from natural *** objective of the present study was to determine the inhibitory effect of ethanolic extract of basil(Ocimum basilicum *** Rubin)subjected to different concentrations of potassium(K^(+))on the activity of three bacterial strains that are pathogens in *** was evaluated by inhibition surface and these results were compared to two antibiotics:Gentamicin(GE)and Ciprofloxacin(CPF)for their efficacy against each bacterial *** variables presented significant difference(p≤0.05).According to the results,basil extract evaluated showed positive antibacterial activity against the three strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Listeria monocytogenes and Staphylococcus aureus on Mueller Hinton *** was observed highest inhibition areas of different diameters(15.3 mm,21.3 mm and 21.6 mm respectively)when the extract used was obtained from the plants with the highest concentration of potassium(13 mmol L-1).These values were even superior to the highest values showed on the treatments with the antibiotic gentamicin.
