The multiple metal catalyst as a promising nanomaterial has shown excellent activity in the peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation for pollutant ***,the role of special sites and in-depth understanding of the PMS activation mechanism are not fully *** this study,a Cu-doped CoFe_(2)O_(4)nanocatalyst(0.5CCF)was synthesized by a sol-gel and calcination method,and used for PMS activation to remove Rhodamine B(RhB).The results showed that the Cu doping obviously enhanced the catalytic performance of CoFe_(2)O_(4),with 99.70%of RhB removed by 0.5CCF while 74.91%in the CoFe_(2)O_(4)within 15 *** on the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemical analysis,this could be ascribed to the more low valence of Co and Fe species generated on the 0.5CCF and faster electron transfers occurred in the 0.5CCF due to the Cu *** addition,Cu doping could provide more reaction sites for the 0.5CCF to activate PMS for RhB *** metal species and the surface hydroxyl were the reaction sites of PMS activation,and the surface hydroxyl played an important role in surface-bound reactive species *** the PMS activation,the Cu not only activated PMS to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS),but also regenerated Co^(2+)and Fe^(2+)to accelerate the PMS *** non-radical of ^(1)O_(2)was the main ROS with a 99.35%of contribution rate,and the SO_(5)^(·–)self-reaction was its major *** study provides a new insight to enhance the PMS activation performance of multiple metal catalysts by Cu doping in wastewater treatment.

We investigated the influence mechanism of N-doping for dissolved black carbon(DBC)photodegradation of organic *** degradation performance of N-doped dissolved black carbon(NDBC)for tetracycline(TC)(71%)is better than that for methylene blue(MB)(28%)under *** levels are both better than DBC degradation performances for TC(68%)and MB(18%)under *** species quenching experiments suggest that h and-O,are the main reactive species for NDBC photodegraded TC,while-OH and h*are the main reactive species for NDBC photodegraded MB.-OH is not observed during DBC photodegradation of *** is likely because N-doping increases valence-band(VB)energy from 1.55 eV in DBC to 2.04 eV in NDBC;the latter is strong enough to oxidize water to ***,N-doping increases the DBC band gap of 2.29 to 2.62 eV in NDBC,resulting in a higher separation efficiency of photo-generated electrons-holes in NDBC than in *** these factors give NDBC stronger photodegradation performance for TC and MB than ***-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS)characterization and toxicity evaluation with the quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR)method suggest that TC photodegradation intermediates produced by NDBC have less aromatic structure and are less toxic than those produced by *** adopted a theoretical approach to clarify the relationship between the surface groups of NDBC and the photoactive species *** results add to the understanding of the photochemical behavior of NDBC.

A comprehensive modeling strategy for studying the thermomechanical tribological behaviors is proposed in this *** wear degradation considering the influence of temperature(T)is predicted by Archard wear model with the help of the UMESHmoTION subroutine and arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian(ALE)remeshing *** the proposed method,the thermomechanical tribological behaviors of railway vehicle disc brake system composed of forged steel brake disc and Cu-based powder metallurgy(PM)friction block are studied *** effectiveness of the proposed methodology is validated by experimental test on a self-designed scaled brake test bench from the perspectives of interface temperature,wear degradation,friction noise and vibration,and contact status *** work can provide an effective way for the investigation of thermomechanical tribological behaviors in the engineering field.

Increasing the utilization efficiency of photogenerated electrons is highly recognized as one of the ef-ficient approaches to boost the photocatalytic CO_(2)conversion ***,ZIF-67-derived porous carbon(PC)material was employed for the construction of PC@ultrafine Bi_(12)O_(17)Br_(2)nanotubes(PC@BOB NTs)composites through a facile solvothermal synthesis in order to optimize the use of excited elec-trons in the BOB *** characterization results revealed that the introduction of PC material achieved a faster charge separation rate in the PC@BOB composites,ensuring more photogener-ated electrons participate in the CO_(2)adsorption and activation ***,the pore structures of ZIF-67-derived PC material provided abundant confined spaces for the enrichment of CO_(2)***-ter 5 h of Xenon lamp irradiation,PC@BOB composites exhibited obviously increased photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction activity in the pure *** the addition amount of PC was 5 wt%,the PC@BOB-2 com-posite showed the highest CO evolution rate of 359.70μmol/g,which was 2.95 times higher than that of the pure BOB *** work provides some independent insights into the applications of Metal-Organic Framework(moF)-derived hierarchical porous structures to strengthen the CO_(2)enrichment,as well as the excited charge utilization efficiency,thus achieving a high solar-to-fuel conversion efficiency.
