A wide spectrum of metabolites(mainly,the three major nutrients and their derivatives)can be sensed by specific sensors,then trigger a series of signal transduction pathways and affect the expression levels of genes in epigenetics,which is called metabolite *** body regulates metabolism,immunity,and inflammation by metabolite sensing,coordinating the pathophysiology of the host to achieve balance with the external *** reprogramming in cancers cause different phenotypic characteristics of cancer cell from normal cell,including cell proliferation,migration,invasion,angiogenesis,*** disorders in cancer cells further create a microenvironment including many kinds of oncometabolites that are conducive to the growth of cancer,thus forming a vicious *** the same time,exogenous metabolites can also affect the biological behavior of ***,we discuss the metabolite sensing mechanisms of the three major nutrients and their derivatives,as well as their abnormalities in the development of various cancers,and discuss the potential therapeutic targets based on metabolite-sensing signaling pathways to prevent the progression of cancer.

Deliverability analysis of greedy routing in the spherical cap 3D sensor networks

For 3D sensor networks to monitor the ocean, forest and aerosphere, etc., sensors can forward their data to the base station by greedy routing. It is critical to quantitatively greedy routing’s deliverability for evaluating network’s functionality and performance. The probability that all sensors can successfully send their data to the base station by greedy routing is usually modeled as the probability of guaranteed delivery. For a typical spherical cap 3D sensor network deployment scenario where nodes follow a homogeneous Poisson point process, the relationship between the sensor transmission radius and the probability of guaranteed delivery is studied, and a tight analytical upper bound on the sensor transmission radius to ensure the designed deliverability probability is derived in this paper. The correctness and tightness of the derived upper bound are verified by extensive simulations.

A novel method for solving the multiple traveling salesmen problem with multiple depots

Multi-traveling salesman problem(MTSP) is an extension of traveling salesman problem,which is a famous NP hard problem,and can be used to solve many real world problems,such as railway transportation,routing and pipeline *** this paper,we analyze the general properties of MTSP,and find that the multiple depots and closed paths in the graph is a big issue for ***,a novel method is presented to solve *** transform a complicated graph into a simplified one firstly,then an effective algorithm is proposed to solve the MTSP based on the simplified *** addition,we also propose a method to optimize the general results by using *** results show that our method can find the global solution for MTSP efficiently.

Novel load balancing DHT scheme for the heterogeneous system

The capacities of the nodes in the peer-to-peer system are strongly heterogeneous, hence one can benefit from distributing the load, based on the capacity of the nodes. At first a model is discussed to evaluate the load balancing of the heterogeneous system, and then a novel load balancing scheme is proposed based on the concept of logical servers and the randomized binary tree, and theoretical guarantees are given. Finally, the feasibility of the scheme using extensive simulations is proven.

Classification and Location Scheme Selection of Coupling Components in Integrated Electrical and Heating Systems with Renewable Energy

Integrated energy systems(IES)are under development to accommodate the widespread penetration of renewable energy into power *** universal utilization of coupling components makes the connection between power grids and heat grids even *** paper applies energy flow calculations to planning problems and explores a method for selecting coupling components in the integrated electrical and heating *** process is based on the analysis of energy flow distribution and the comprehensive indexes,which include operation cost and the penalty cost of wind curtailment and solar energy ***,a selection method of coupling components installation locations based on energy flow calculations is *** last,an IES with 5 electrical buses and 5 heating nodes,and a 9-bus electrical power system with a 31-node heating transmission system are chosen to study the specific application problems in detail as well as to elucidate the effectiveness of the proposed *** turned out that the relevant coupling components and their positions can be selected according to the indexes obtained by integrated electrical-hydraulic-thermal *** proposed method is conducive to the planning of integrated energy systems.

Novel algorithm for distributed replicas management based on dynamic programming

Replicas can improve the data reliability in distributed system. However, the traditional algorithms for replica management are based on the assumption that all replicas have the uniform reliability, which is inaccurate in some actual systems. To address such problem, a novel algorithm is proposed based on dynamic programming to manage the number and distribution of replicas in different nodes. By using Markov model, replicas management is organized as a multi-phase process, and the recursion equations are provided. In this algorithm, the heterogeneity of nodes, the expense for maintaining replicas and the engaged space have been considered. Under these restricted conditions, this algorithm realizes high data reliability in a distributed system. The results of case analysis prove the feasibility of the algorithm.

Application potential of carbon nanotubes in water treatment:A review

Water treatment is the key to coping with the conflict between people＇s increasing demand for water and the world-wide water shortage. Owing to their unique and tunable structural, physical, and chemical properties, carbon nanotubes （CNTs） have exhibited great potentials in water treatment. This review makes an attempt to provide an overview of potential solutions to various environmental challenges by using CNTs as adsorbents, catalysts or catalyst support, membranes, and electrodes. The merits of incorporating CNT to conventional water-treatment material are emphasized, and the remaining challenges are discussed.

A DUAL-SURFACE DAMAGE MODEL AND EVALUATION FOR NATURAL SOILS WITHIN THE THERMOMECHANICAL FRAMEWORK

Naturally deposited or residual soils exhibit more complicated behavior than remolded clays. A dual-surface damage model for structured soils is developed based on the thermodynamics framework established in our first paper. The shift stresses and the transformation between the generalized dissipative stress space and actual stress space are established following a systematic procedure. The corresponding constitutive behavior of the proposed model is determined, which reflects the internal structural configuration and damage behavior for geomaterials. Four evolution variables κj^i（i=D, R;j=V, S） and the basic parameters λ, s, v and e0 are introduced to account for the progressive loss of internal structure for natural clays. A series of fully triaxial tests and isotropic compression tests are performed for structured and reconstituted samples of Beijing and Zhengzhou natural clays. The validation of the proposed model is examined by comparing the numerical results with the experimental data.

Consistency Maintenance in Replication:A Novel Strategy Based on Diamond Topology in Cloud Storage

The problem of consistency maintenance in replication is a fundamental issue in cloud storage. Existing solutions either cannot obtain good efficiency, or suffer low reliability. We propose a novel consistency maintenance strategy based on diamond topology. It organizes all the nodes in cloud storage system into a high symmetrical, reliable structure. The experimental results show that our diamond topology reduces the network overhead by55.9% at least, compared to state-of-the-art random topology, and achieves at most 49.1% enhancement in reliability towards to tree topology.

Comparison of administrative and regulatory green technologies development between China and the *** on patent analysis

With the increasing importance of computer intelligence in the new round of the industrial revolution,administrative,regulatory,or design(ARD)green technology contributes to improving national technological competitiveness and promoting the transformation of green technology,which is becoming an important field under sustainable development *** *** China ranked top two in terms of paper influence and patent applications in the field of ARD green ***,few comparative studies have been conducted in these two *** study presents the evolution and landscapes of ARD green technology between China and the U.S.,focusing on comparing development priorities and technical layouts in each five-year plan *** to the“International Patent Classification(IPC)Green Inventory”launched by the World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO),we retrieved 69,412 patents published between 2001 and 2020 from the PatSnap ***,content,and thematic network analyses were conducted using latent dirichlet allocation(LDA)and community detection *** results show that both China and the *** focus on ARD green technology *** technical topics in this field can be divided into three themes:data processing systems,traffic control systems,and building *** emphasis on technology research and development(R&D)differs between China and the *** is also evidence that the *** advantages in terms of technological innovation and ***,China has an advantage in terms of data volume,and the gap between China and the *** gradually *** also highlight the contributions and limitations of this study.
