Studies show that two dimensional(2D)nanomaterial and its hybrid have a great promise in tribology for the special laminar microstructure.However,the majority of performed investigations about 2D graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheets are most focused on energy storage,catalysis,adsorption,rarely tribology.In the present study,g-C_(3)N_(4) supporting mono-dispersed Ag nanoparticle hybrid(g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag)is prepared,and its microstructure and chemical composition are determined.More specifically,the tribological performance as the lubricating additive of poly phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone(PPESK)composite is investigated using the ball-on-disc friction tester.Moreover,the corresponding enhancement mechanism is well proposed based on the experimental analysis and theoretical simulation.Obtained results show that Ag nanoparticles with a size of about 10-20 nm are homogeneously anchored on g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheets,favoring for good compatibility between g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag and PPESK.It is found that when 0.3 wt%of g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag is added to PPESK,the friction coefficient and wear rate of PPESK decrease by 68.9%and 97.1%,respectively.These reductions are mainly attributed to the synergistic self-lubricating effect of Ag nanoparticles and g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheet,the formation of transfer film,as well as the limited effect of g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag on the shear deformation of PPESK composite film.Furthermore,it is found that the proposed g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag-PPESK composite still keeps reasonable friction-reducing and wear-resistant properties under heavy loads and high rotating speeds.The present study demonstrates that the proposed g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag hybrid is an excellent lubricating additive for polymer composites.

Surfactant-modified CeO_(2)@TiO_(2) core-shell nanostructure catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation with the addition of sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDS),and their catalytic oxidation of dichloromethane(DCM) was studied.A 90% DCM conversion efficiency is obtained at 300℃ with the CeO_(2)@TiO_(2)SDS catalyst,and its catalytic stability in the 55 h test period is better than that of Ce/TiO_(2) and CeO_(2)@TiO_(2).Based on the characterization of CeO_(2)@TiO_(2)SDS,the dispersion of active components is promoted due to the inhibition of crystal growth with the introduction of SDS.The improvement of surface acidity and redox capacity is beneficial to the enhancement of catalytic activity.The higher adsorbed oxygen content on the surface of the CeO_(2)@TiO_(2)SDS catalyst is responsible for the better catalytic stability.Generally,a novel method was developed to design catalytic oxidation catalysts for the treatment of chlorinated volatile organic compounds in future applications.

To build a self-consistent effective-one-body(EOB)theory,in which the Hamiltonian,radiation-reaction force and waveform for the“plus”and“cross”modes of the gravitational wave should be based on the same effective background spacetime,the key step is to look for the decoupled equation forψ^(B)_(4)=h_(+)−ih_(×),which seems a very difficult task because there are non-vanishing tetrad components of the tracefree Ricci tensor for such spacetime.Fortunately,based on an effective spacetime obtained in this paper by using the post-Minkowskian(PM)approximation,we find the decoupled equation forψ^(B)_(4)by dividing the perturbation part of the metric into the odd and even parities.With the effective metric and decoupled equation at hand,we set up a frame of self-consistent EOB model for spinless binaries.

Pre-freezing is an important stage in freeze-drying processes.For the lyophilization of a cell,freezing not only plays a role for primary dehydration,but it also determines the amount of residual(intracellular or extracellular)water,which in turn can influence the solution properties and the choice of operation parameters.The freezing of human platelets in lyoprotectant solution is theoretically investigated here.A two-parameter model and an Arrhenius expression are used to describe cell membrane permeability and its temperature dependency.It is assumed that the intracellular solution is composed of four components:sodium chloride,trehalose,serum protein and water,while the extracellular solution consists of three components.Non-ideal solution behaviors are predicted using measured data.The concentration of maximally freeze-concentrated solution is estimated on the basis of an assumption of solute hydration.The impacts of lyoprotectant composition and extracellular sub-cooling on intracellular supercooling and residual water content in the cell are analyzed.The values of activation energy of hydraulic permeability at low temperatures are tested to study their impact on the critical cooling rate.As the mass fraction extracellular lyoprotectant(trehalose+bovineserum albumin)increases from 5 wt%to 20 wt%,the intracellular water content at the end of freezing does not change,but the intracellular solution undergoes much higher super-cooling degree.Increasing the mass ratio of trehalose to bovine serum albumin does not change the intracellular water content,but can mitigate intracellular super-cooling.While 0.05 mol/kg trehalose is loaded into platelet,the total quantity of residual water at the end of freezing may raise by 4.93%.The inclusion of dimethyl sulfoxide(Me2SO)in protectant may bring negative impacts to the drying stage by increasing the residual water content and lowering the drying temperature.

Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have recently attracted increasing research interest due to their unparalleled safety,fantastic cost competitiveness and promising capacity advantages compared with the commercial lithium ion batteries.However,the disputed energy storage mechanism has been a confusing issue restraining the development of ZIBs.Although a lot of efforts have been dedicated to the exploration in battery chemistry,a comprehensive review that focuses on summarizing the energy storage mechanisms of ZIBs is needed.Herein,the energy storage mechanisms of aqueous rechargeable ZIBs are systematically reviewed in detail and summarized as four types,which are traditional Zn^(2+)insertion chemistry,dual ions co-insertion,chemical conversion reaction and coordination reaction of Zn^(2+)with organic cathodes.Furthermore,the promising exploration directions and rational prospects are also proposed in this review.

Despite the large emission of chlorinated volatile organic compounds(CVOCs)into the atmosphere,the ultimate fate of these compounds remains largely unknown.Herein,we explore the photochemical conversion of an important class of CVOCs,namely chlorobenzene(CB),on mineralα-Fe_(2)O_(3)particulates under atmospheric relevant conditions.A series of chamber reactions composed of the CB with/without SO_(2)or NO_(2)are performed,followed by in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy measurements and density functional theory calculations.We show that CB can be considerably degraded byα-Fe_(2)O_(3)under light irradiation,whereas the reaction is markedly suppressed by adding SO_(2)or NO_(2)owing to their competitive adsorption and surface acidification.In particular,we discover that CB can be ultimately converted into polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)under dark state or light irradiation,suggesting a possible origin of atmospheric PCDD/Fs from this overlooked photochemical source.

In this study,a series of Hydrogen-Zeolite Socony Mobil-5-X(HZSM-5-X) catalysts were prepared by acid modification,then Ce/HZSM-5-X(X=0,0.2,0.4,1.0,2.0) catalysts were prepared by impregnation method.The catalytic performance of the catalysts on dichloromethane(DCM) oxidation was investigated.Through different characterizations,HZSM-5-X exhibit high specific surface area,good redox ability,rich acidity and much suitable acidic site distribution after acid treatment.Among them,Ce/HZSM-5-0.4 shows better catalytic activity with the lowest by-product and the best CO_(2) yield.Its T_(90) is 302℃ and the CO_(2) yield of T_(90) is more than 80 wt%,which demonstrates that the acid modification of carrier plays the positive effect on the catalytic capacity for DCM oxidation.

Effects of paclobutrazol application on plant architecture,lodging resistance,photosynthetic characteristics,and peanut yield at different single-seed precise sowing densities

The key to high-yielding peanut cultivation is the optimization of agricultural production practices.Regulating single-seed precise sowing(SSPS)density and paclobutrazol(Pbz)application concentration are effective practices that increase peanut yield by improving plant architecture,lodging resistance,and photosynthetic characteristics.Therefore,we conducted a two-factor field optimization experiment for the sowing density(D1:1.95×10^(5)plants ha^(-1),D52:2.40×10plants ha^(-1),D3:2.85×10^(5)plants ha^(-1),and D4:3.30×10^(5)plants ha^(-1))and Pbzapplication concentration(P0:0 mg L^(-1)and P1:100 mg L^(-1)).The objective was to optimize agricultural production practices and provide a theoretical basis for highyielding peanut cultivation by evaluating the effects of sowing density and Pbzapplication on plant architecture,lodging resistance,photosynthetic characteristics,and yield.The results showed that at the same Pbzapplication concentration,increasing sowing density increased lodging percentage and reduced leaf photosynthetic capacity.At the same sowing density,Pbzapplication reduced lodging percentage by decreasing plant height(PH),improving lignin biosynthesis-related enzyme activities,and enhancing stem puncture strength(SPS)and breaking strength(SBS).The paclobutrazol-induced alterations in plant architecture and lodging resistance improved light transmission at the middle and bottom leaf strata,resulting in the increase in relative chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate(Pn)of leaves.Furthermore,D3P1treatment had the highest peanut yield among all treatments.In summary,the production strategy combining the sowing density of 2.85×10^(5)plants ha^(-1)with the application of100 mg L^(-1)Pbzwas found to be the optimal agricultural production practice for giving full play to production potential and achieving higher peanut yield.
