Ultra-high purity Yb_(2)O_(3) is the critical material of many high-tech materials such as laser glass and fiber,in which impurities seriously affect the laser color quality,intensity and *** order to reduce the influence of impurities on the properties of laser materials,the purification process of Yb_(2)O_(3) was studied by comparing two kinds of resins(RT-1 and RS-1)using improved ion-exchange chromatography(IEC)*** this study,through the synergistic improvement of resin structure and eluting system,the environmental pollution caused by ammonia water in the traditional IEC method was reduced,and the requirements of high temperature and pressure were *** ion exchange behavior and impurity removal mechanism in the resin column during the loading and eluting process were compared and *** experimental results show that RS-1 resin is all superior to RT-1resin in elements selectivity,ion exchange capacity and impurities removal *** separation and purification by IEC with RS-1 resin,the total removal rate of rare earth impurities was 77.59%and that of non-rare earth impurities was 95.86%when Yb recovery was more than 70%,both higher than that of RT-1 resin(73.26%and 83.18%).This indicates that the improved IEC method is very effective in separating and removing different metal impurities from Yb_(2)O_(3).The pilot test results of IEC method separating and purifying Yb_(2)O_(3) with RS-1 resin show that the purity of Yb_(2)O_(3) can be increased from 99.9929%to 99.9997%by IEC *** has exhibited huge potential of preparing ultra-high purity Yb_(2)O_(3),especially the deep removal of non-rare earth impurities.

Objective: Hepatic veno-occlusive disease(HVOD) has attracted increasing attention in recent years due to its relationship with ingestion of Gynura segetum. The mortality of severe HVOD remains high due to the lack of specific therapies. The aim of the study was to delineate the clinical characteristics and outcomes and explore the potential prognostic factors of ***: This was a single-center retrospective study. Eighty-nine HVOD patients were screened from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University with an ingestion history of G. segetum before developing symptoms from January 2009 to May 2018. The enrolled patients were divided into the survivor and death groups according to the clinical follow-up that ended on September 1, 2019. The demographic variables and clinical data of the patients were recorded. A binary logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic curve were conducted to identify the prognostic factors and assess the prognostic value for predicting death, and a survival analysis was performed to evaluate the clinical ***: Sixty-four patients were eligible for further analysis. Most patients showed abdominal distension and were positive for migrating dullness in the abdomen(P = 0.740 and P = 0.732, respectively). The patients who died had higher levels of model for end-stage liver disease score, and higher prothrombin time than those who survived(both P < 0.001). All HVOD patients in both the survival and death groups showed ascites with abnormal imaging presentations of the liver parenchyma and hepatic blood ***, we found that hydrothorax was detected in 21(65.63%) patients in the death group and 19(59.38%) patients in the survivor group during hospitalization, which was rarely mentioned in previous studies. A novel high-efficient P/N/Si-containing APP-based flame retardant with a silane coupling agent in its molecular structure for epoxy resin

A flame retardant containing multiple antiflaming elements usually exhibits high-efficient flame retardancy. Here, a novel P/N/Si-containing ammonium polyphosphate derivative(APTES-APP) is synthesized from ammonium polyphosphate(APP) and silane coupling agent(3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane(APTES)via cation exchange, which is quite different in the chemical structure from APTES-modified APP for retaining silicon hydroxyls. APTES-APP is highly efficient for the epoxy resin. 8%(mass) APTES-APP imparts excellent flame retardancy to the epoxy resin, with a V-0 rating at the UL-94 test(1.6 mm)and an LOI value of 26%(vol). The peak heat release rate and total smoke production of the flameretardant epoxy resin are decreased by 68.1% and 31.3%, respectively. The synergy of P/N/Si contributes to the well-expanded char residue with a strong and dense surface layer, which is a very good barrier against heat and mass transfer. Besides, there is no significant deterioration in the mechanical properties of flame-retardant epoxy resin thanks to silicon hydroxyls forming hydrogen bonds with epoxy molecules. Meanwhile, other molecules can be grafted onto APTES-APP via these silicon hydroxyls, if ***, this work has developed a new strategy for amino silane as flame retardants. In conjunction with a low-cost and simple preparation method, APTES-APP has a promising prospect in the high-performance flame-retardant epoxy.

Soil strain is the key parameter to control the elasto-plastic deformation and even the failure *** overcome the defect that the strain of the model soil is always smaller than that of the prototype in Iai′s generalized scaling law(GSL),a modified scaling law was proposed based on Iai′s GSL to secure the same dynamic shear strain between the centrifuge model and the prototype by modulating the amplitude and frequency of the input motion at the base.A suite of dynamic centrifuge model tests of dry sand level ground was conducted with the same overall scaling factor(λ=200)under different centrifugal accelerations by using the technique of“modeling of models”to validate the modified *** test results show that the modified GSL could achieve the same dynamic strain in model as that of the prototype,leading to better modeling for geotechnical problems where dynamic strain dominates the response or failure of ***,the applicability of the proposed scaling law and possible constraints on geometry scaling due to the capability limits of existing centrifuge shaking tables are discussed.

Model tests and numerical calculations were adopted based on the New Yuanliangshan tunnel project to investigate the water pressure resistance of lining construction joints in high-pressure and water-rich karst tunnels.A large-scale model test was designed and conducted,innovatively transforming the external water pressure of the lining construction joint into internal water *** effects of the embedded position and waterstop type on the water pressure resistance of the construction joint were analyzed,and the reliability of the model test was verified via numerical *** results show that using waterstops can significantly improve the water pressure resistance of lining construction *** water pressure resistance of the lining construction joint is positively correlated with the lining thickness and embedded depth of the *** addition,the type of waterstop significantly influences the water pressure resistance of lining construction *** test results show that the water pressure resistance of the embedded transverse reinforced waterstop is similar to that of the steel plate waterstop,and both have more advantages than the rubber *** water pressure resistance of the construction joint determined via numerical calculations is similar to the model test results,indicating that the model test results have high accuracy and *** study provides a reference for similar projects and has wide applications.
