Seismicity changes and numerical simulation of coseismic deformation following the 2022 M_(s)6.8 luding earthquake in Sichuan,China

The Xianshuihe fault is a major tectonic boundary between the Sichuan-Yunnan rhombic and Bayanhar blocks in Southwest *** an average left-lateral strike-slip movement of 10–15 mm/yr,it is a fast-moving strike-slip continental *** September 5,2022,the Ms6.8 luding earthquake occurred al.ng the Moxi segment of the Xianshuihe fault,reaching a maximum intensity of IX and resulting in a significant number of casualties and severe property *** earthquake broke the l.ng-standing seismic quiescence of the Xianshuihe fault,which lasted for more than 40 years,and was followed by a significant number of *** outstanding question is how the behavior of the Xianshuihe fault and major earthquakes changed following this *** this study,we examined the changes in regional seismicity following the luding earthquake and identified the potential for future strong earthquakes al.ng the Xianshuihe *** used a finite element numerical method to simulate the environment of the seismogenic fault and its adjacent *** addition,we used the coseismic slip model of the luding earthquake with the split-node method to calculate how the stress and strain fields in the surrounding area were affected by the2022 *** stress changes were resolved in the main faults,and the seismicity of adjacent faults was analyzed in conjunction with the observed seismic *** results indicate that regional tectonic movement primarily occurred to the southeast al.ng the Moxi *** stress field is approximately north-south in tension and east-west in *** in the stress field in the epicentral region of the luding earthquake exceeded 1 *** maximum displacement of the coseismic deformation field was concentrated between Moxi town and Tuanjie village,and the Coulomb stress of the fault zone in this region experienced the largest ***,the b-value of the Gutenberg-Richter magnitude-frequency relationship at the epicenter a

Fuzzy-Model-Based Finite Frequency Fault Detection Filtering Design for Two-Dimensional Nonlinear Systems

This article studies the fault detection filtering design problem for Roesser type two-dimensional(2-D)nonlinear systems described by uncertain 2-D Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy ***,fuzzy lyapunov functions are constructed and the 2-D Fourier transform is exploited,based on which a finite frequency fault detection filtering design method is proposed such that a residual signal is generated with robustness to external disturbances and sensitivity to *** has been shown that the utilization of available frequency spectrum information of faults and disturbances makes the proposed filtering design method more general and less conservative compared with a conventional nonfrequency based filtering design ***,with the proposed evaluation function and its threshold,a novel mixed finite frequency H_(∞)/H_(-)fault detection algorithm is developed,based on which the fault can be immediately detected once the evaluation function exceeds the ***,it is verified with simulation studies that the proposed method is effective and less conservative than conventional non-frequency and/or common lyapunov function based filtering design methods.

Phase-field lattice-Boltzmann study on fully coupled thermal-solute-convection dendrite growth of Al-Cu alloy

Dendrite growth is a complex liquid-solid phase transition process involving multiple physical factors.A phase-field lattice-Boltzmann method was developed to simulate the two-and three-dimension dendrite growth of Al-Cu *** effect of fully coupled thermal-solute-convection interaction on the dendrite growth was investigated by incorporating a parallel-adaptive mesh refinement algorithm into the numerical *** accurately reproducing the latent heat release,solute diffusion and convective transport behaviors at the liquidsolid interface,the interaction mechanism among thermal-solute-convection transport as well as their coupl.ng effects on the dendrite growth dynamics were *** simulation results show that the release of latent heat slows down the dendrite growth rate,and both natural and forced convection disrupt the symmetrical growth of *** combination makes the growth of dendrites more complex,capturing important physical aspects such as recalescence,dendrite tip splitting,dendrite tilting,dendrite remelting,and solute plume in the simulation *** on the robustness and powerful ability of the numerical model,the formation mechanisms of these physical aspects were revealed.

Constraining the Earth-mass Primordial Black Hole Mergers Model of the Non-repeating FRBs Using the First CHIME/FRB Catalog

In this paper,we upgrade the constraints for the Earth-mass primordial black hole mergers model based on the first Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment(CHIME)/fast radio burst(FRB)*** the null hypothesis that the observed non-repeating FRBs originate from Earth-mass primordial black hole mergers,we find that how the charges were distributed in the primordial black hole population is well described by a double powerlaw function with typical charge value of law function with typical charge value of q_(c)/10^(-5)=1.60_(-0.28)^(+0.28),where the power-law index α_(1)=2.33_(-0.18)^(+0.15) for qlack hole in units of√GM,where M is the mass of the black ***,we infer the local event rate of the bursts is 8.8_(-2.1)^(+5.7)×10^(4)Gpc^(-3) yr^(-1),which indicates that an abundance of the primordial black hole population f■10^(-4) is needed to account for the observed FRBs by *** results of this paper lay the basis for further research on the electromagnetic radiation background generated by the merger of primordial black hole mergers.

Emerging therapeutic methods represented by targeted therapy are effective supplements to traditional first-line chemoradiotherapy *** epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)is one of the most important targets in targeted therapy for gastric *** combined with chemotherapy has been used as the first-line treatment for advanced gastric *** safety and efficacy of pertuzumab and margetuximab in the treatment of gastric cancer have been ***,monoclonal antibodies,due to their large molecular weight,inability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier,and drug resistance,lead to decreased therapeutic efficacy,so it is necessary to explore the efficacy of other HER2-targeting therapies in gastric ***-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors,such as lapatinib and pyrrotinib,have the advantages of small molecular weight,penetrating the blood-brain barrier and high oral bioavailability,and are expected to become the drugs of choice for perioperative treatment and neoadjuvant therapy of gastric cancer after validation by large-scale clinical trials in the ***-drug conjugate,such as T-DM1 and T-DXd,can overcome the resistance of monoclonal antibodies despite their different mechanisms of tumor kill.ng,and are a supplement for the treatment of patients who have failed the treatment of monoclonal antibodies such as ***,after more detailed stratification of gastric cancer patients,various gastric cancer drugs targeting HER2 are expected to play a more significant role.

Electronic and Thermoelectric Properties in SnS-Nanoribbon-Based Heterojunctions

As an earth-abundant and environmentally friendly material,tin sulfide(SnS)is not only a high-performance photovoltaic material,but also a new promising thermoelectric *** extensive research on the thermoelectric properties of this material in recent years,the room-temperature thermoelectric figure of merit(ZT)of SnS has not been broke through 2[2022 *** Mater.651143].In this work,based on a combination of density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green’s function method,the electronic and thermoelectric properties in SnS-nanoribbon-based heterojunctions are *** results show that although SnS nanoribbons(SNSNRs)with zigzag edges(ZSNSNRs)and armchair edges(ASNSNRs)both have semiconductor properties,the bandgaps of ASNSNRs are much wider than those of ZSNSNRs,which induces much wider conductance gaps of𝑁-ASNSNR(N𝑁is the number of tin-sulfide lines across the ribbon width)).In the positive energy region,the ZT peaks of𝐿l-SNS-Au are much larger than those of𝐿l-SNS-GNR(l𝐿represents the number of l.ngitudinal repeating units of SNSNR in the scattering region).While in the positive energy region,the ZT peaks of𝐿-SNSGNR are larger than those of𝐿-*** calculations reveal that the figure of merit will be over 3.7 in l-SNS-Au and 2.2 in𝐿l-SNS-GNR at room temperature,and over 4 in𝐿l-SNS-Au and 2.6 in𝐿l-SNS-GNR at 500 K.

Background Fatty liver hemorrhage syndrome(FlHS)becomes one of the most major factors resulting in the laying hen death for caged egg *** study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of lactiplantibacillus plan-tarum(***)FRT4 on FlHS model in laying hen with a focus on liver lipid metabolism,and gut *** The FlHS model of laying hens was established by feeding a high-energy low-protein(HElP)diet,and the treatment groups were fed a HElP diet supplemented with differential proportions of *** *** results indicated that *** FRT4 increased laying rate,and reduced the liver lipid accumulation by regulating lipid metabolism(lipid synthesis and transport)and improving the gut microbiota ***,***-tarum FRT4 regulated the liver glycerophospholipid ***,“gut-liver”axis analysis showed that there was a correlation between gut microbiota and lipid *** The results indicated that *** FRT4 improved the laying performance and alleviated FlHS in HElP diet-induced laying hens through regulating“gut-liver”*** findings reveal that glycerophospholipid metabolism could be the underlying mechanism for the anti-FlHS effect of *** FRT4 and for future use of *** FRT4 as an excellent additive for the prevention and mitigation of FlHS in laying hens.
