Direct energy budget is carried out for both cold and hot flow in gas–solid fluidization ***,the energy paths are proposed from thermodynamic *** consumption means total power input to the specific system,and it can be decomposed into energy retention and energy *** retention is the variation of accumulated mechanical energy in the system,and energy dissipation is the energy converted to heat by irreversible *** based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics-Discrete Element Method(CFD-DEM)framework,different energy terms are quantified from the specific flow elements of fluid cells and particles as well as their interactions with the *** order to clarify the energy budget,it is important to identify which system is studied:the particle-fluid system or the particle *** the cold flow,the total energy consumption of the particle sub-system can well indicate the onset of bubbling and turbulent,while the variation of local energy consumption terms can reflect the evolution of heterogeneous *** the hot flow,different heat transfer mechanisms are analyzed and the solver is modified to reproduce the experimental *** impact of the heat transfer mechanisms and heat production on energy consumption is also *** proposed budget method has proven to be energy-conservative and easy to conduct,and it is hopeful to be applied to other multiphase flow systems.

biomolecular aggregation within cellular environments via liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) spontaneously forms droplet-like structures, which play pivotal roles in diverse biological processes. These structures are closely associated with a range of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and infectious diseases, highlighting the significance of understanding LLPS mechanisms for elucidating disease pathogenesis, and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. In this review, we delineate recent advancements in LLPS research, emphasizing its pathological relevance, therapeutic considerations, and the pivotal role of bioinformatic tools and databases in facilitating LLPS investigations. Additionally, we undertook a comprehensive analysis of bioinformatic resources dedicated to LLPS research in order to elucidate their functionality and applicability. By providing comprehensive insights into current LLPS-related bioinformatics resources, this review highlights its implications for human health and disease.

Treatment patterns and survival outcomes in patients with nonmetastatic early-onset pancreatic cancer

In this study, we investigate the pseudospectrum and spectrum(in)stability of quantum corrected Schwarzschild black ***, we use the hyperboloidal framework to cast the quasinormal mode(QNM) problem into an eigenvalue problem associated with a non-selfadjoint operator, and then the spectrum and pseudospectrum are depicted. Besides, the invariant subspace method is exploited to improve the computational efficiency for pseudospectrum. The investigation into the spectrum(in)stability entails two main aspects. On the one hand, we calculate the spectra of the quantum corrected black hole, then by the means of the migration ratio, the impact of the quantum correction effect on the Schwarzschild black hole has been *** results indicate that the so-called “migration ratio instability” will occur for small black holes with small angular momentum number l. In the eikonal limit, the migration ratios remain the same for each overtone. On the other hand, we study the spectrum(in)stability of the quantum corrected black hole by directly adding some particular perturbations into the effective potential,where perturbations are located at the event horizon and null infinity, respectively. There are two interesting observations under the same perturbation energy norm. First, perturbations at infinity are more capable of generating spectrum instability than those at the event horizon. Second, we find that the peak distribution can lead to the instability of QNM spectrum more efficiently than the average distribution.

AIM:To assess the efficacy of artificial natural light in preventing incident myopia in primary school-age ***:This is a prospective,randomized control,intervention study.A total of 1840 students from 39 classes in 4 primary schools in Foshan participated in this *** whole randomization method was adopted to include classes as a group according to 1:1 randomized *** in the control group were illuminated by usual light,and classrooms in the intervention group were illuminated by artificial natural *** students received uncorrected visual acuity and best-corrected visual acuity measurement,non-cycloplegic autorefraction,ocular biometric examination,slit lamp and strabismus ***-year follow-up,the students underwent same *** was defined as spherical equivalent refraction≤-0.50 D and uncorrected visual acuitygroup and 946 students in the intervention group with a mean±SD age of 7.50±*** three-year cumulative incidence rate of myopia was 26.4%(207 incident cases among 784 eligible participants at baseline)in the control group and 21.2%(164 incident cases among 774 eligible participants at baseline)in the intervention group[difference of 5.2%(95%CI,3.7%to 10.1%);P=0.035].There was also a significant difference in the three-year change in spherical equivalent refraction for the control group(-0.81 D)compared with the intervention group[-0.63 D;difference of 0.18 D(95%CI,0.08 to 0.28 D);Pgation of axial length was significantly different between in the control group(0.77 mm)and the intervention group[0.72 mm;difference of 0.05 mm(95%CI,0.01 to 0.09 mm);P=0.003].CONCLUSION:Artificial natural light in the classroom of primary schools can result in reducing incidence rate of myopia during a period of three years.
