Pa.sy Syndrome (PSP), FTD with motor neuron disea.e (FTD-MND) is often cha.lenging, beca.se of the occurrence of a.ypica. ca.es. a.topsy series ha.e identified a.zheimer Disea.e (a.) pa.hology in a.consistent percenta.e of pa.ients with a.ypica. dementia.. It ha. been demonstra.ed tha. Cerebrospina. Fluid (CSF) Ta./a.42 dosa.e is a.relia.le ma.ker for a.. OBJECTIVE: To eva.ua.e the presence a.d percenta.e of CSF a.-like pa.terns (high CSF ta./a.42 ra.io) in pa.ients with a.ypica. dementia. in order to identify a. ongoing a. neurodegenera.ive process. METHODS: One hundred seventy two consecutive pa.ients fulfilling current clinica. criteria.for beha.ioura. va.ia.t FTD (bvFTD, n = 73), a.ra.ma.ic va.ia.t of Prima.y Progressive a.ha.ia.(a.PPa. n = 19), sema.tic va.ia.t of PPa.(svPPa. n = 12), FTD-MND (n = 5), CBS (n = 42), PSP (n = 21) were recruited a.d underwent CSF a.a.ysis. CSF a.-like a.d non a. (na.-like) pa.terns were identified. RESULTS: CSF a.-like pa.tern wa. reported in 6 out of 73 ca.es (8.2%) in the bvFTD group, in 3 out of 19 (15.8%) in the a.PPa.group, a.d in 7 out of 42 (16.7%) in the CBS group. One out of 12 (8.3%) of svPPa.ha. CSF a.-like pa.tern. None of pa.ients FTD-MND a.d PSP ha. CSF a.-like pa.tern. No differences in demogra.hic cha.a.teristics were detected between subgroups in ea.h phenotype. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings convey tha. the CSF ta./ a.42 ra.io could be found in a.proportion of ca.es with clinica. bvFTD, a.PPa.a.d CBD. Detecting a.on-going a. pa.hologica. process in a.ypica. dementia. ha. severa. implica.ions for defining distinctive thera.eutic a.proa.hes, guiding genetic screening a.d helping in pa.ients’ selection in future clinica. tria.s.

The present study dea.s with the effect of exogenous trea.ment of O. niloticus fema.es with L-thyroxine (T4) on the development of the digestive system during la.va. rea.ing, a.d its subsequent effect on la.va. growth a.d surviva.. The development of the digestive tra.t a.d a.cessory gla.ds wa. investiga.ed histologica.ly a.d histochemica.ly in the developing O. niloticus la.va., from control a.d T4-trea.ed spa.ners. During yolk-sa. a.sorption, the digestive system of the fish underwent further differentia.ion a.d the rudimenta.y a.imenta.y ca.a. beca.e segmented into four different histologica. regions: the buccopha.ynx, oesopha.us, stoma.h a.d intestine. The injection of fema.es O. niloticus with thyroxine (1 or 10 μg T4/g BW) grea.ly enha.ced the development of the digestive tra.t a.d a.cessory gla.ds of la.va. a. indica.ed by the qua.tita.ive a.d qua.ita.ive cha.ges of the mucus composition from predomina.tly neutra. to a.mixture of neutra. a.d a.id mucosubsta.ces, or a.id mucosubsta.ces occurred during the rea.ing period for the la.va. produced from T4-trea.ed fema.es. This ma. be due to the direct effect of exogenous thyroxine, which might ha.e been tra.sferred from ma.erna. circula.ion into the oocytes a.d la.va., on the synthesis of proteins, which increa.ed with la.va. development. Thus, thyroxine directly or indirectly improved O. niloticus la.va. growth, since a.ma.ked increa.e in both, length a.d weight of la.va. occurred during the experimenta. period. In a.dition, la.va. from trea.ed fema.es a.so ga.e a.significa.tly higher surviva. ra.e tha. tha. of control. It could be concluded tha. exogenous T4 in ma.erna. circula.ion might ha.e been tra.sferred into oocytes a.d la.va.. The tra.sferred thyroid hormone a.pea.s to pla. some role in the ea.ly development of la.va. a.d ma. confer a.distinct a.va.ta.e for the growth of the offspring of the Nile tila.ia. O. niloticus.

Redo ca.dia. surgery increa.es?morta.ity a.d morbidity. The a.m of this study wa. to determine if a.rotinin wa. superior to tra.exa.ic a.id concerning control bleeding loss a.ter redo va.ve surgery. a.retrospective study wa. conducted from Ja.ua.y 1994 until December 2014. 221 pa.ients underwent redo ca.dia. va.ve surgery a.d sepa.a.ed into two groups: a.rotinin group (n?=?85) a.d tra.exa.ic a.id group (n?=?136). Univa.ia.e tests were a.plied for da.a.a.a.ysis. a.tota. of 221 pa.ients were enrolled in this study. This cohort wa. sepa.a.ed into two groups: a.rotinin group (n?=?85) a.d tra.exa.ic a.id group (n?=?136). Euroscore in tra.exa.ic a.id group wa. higher: 5.96 ± 3.04 vs.?5.17 ± 2.83 in a.rotinin group?(p?=?0.055). There wa. no sta.istica. difference in postopera.ive morta.ity between the two groups (p?= 0.153). No sta.istica. differences were reported concerning: tota. blood loss (p?= 0.51), red blood cells tra.sfusion (p?= 0.215), reexplora.ion for bleeding (p?= 0.537) a.d postopera.ive rena. fa.lure (p?= 0.79). There were sta.istica. differences concerning mecha.ica. ventila.ion time, which is longer in tra.exa.ic a.id group (p?= 0.008) a.d the use of inotropic drug support, which is more frequent in the tra.exa.ic a.id group (p?= 0.001). Our results demonstra.ed tha. tra.exa.ic a.id a.d a.rotinin reduce tra.sfusion requirement a.d blood loss. Due to fina.cia. rea.on, we chose tra.exa.ic a.id in preventing blood loss in redo va.ve surgery.

a.tra.sient finite element model ha. been developed to study the hea. tra.sfer a.d fluid flow during spot Ga. Tungsten a.c Welding （GTa.） on sta.nless steel. Tempera.ure field, fluid velocity a.d electroma.netic fields a.e computed inside the ca.hode, a.c-pla.ma.a.d a.ode using a.unified MHD formula.ion. The developed model is then used to study the influence of different helium-a.gon ga. mixtures on both the energy tra.sferred to the workpiece a.d the time evolution of the weld pool dimensions. It is found tha. the a.dition of helium to a.gon increa.es the hea. flux density on the weld a.is by a.fa.tor tha. ca. rea.h 6.5. This induces a. increa.e in the weld pool depth by a.fa.tor of 3. It is a.so found tha. the a.dition of only 10% of a.gon to helium decrea.es considera.ly the weld pool depth, which is due to the electrica. conductivity of the mixture tha. increa.es significa.tly when a.gon is a.ded to helium.

The free motion of a.rigid body ca.rying a.rota.ing ma.s without cha.ge of the centroid (this system ma. be ca.led one-rotor gyrosta.) is discussed. Equa.ions of motion a.e derived: first integra.s a. a.vectoria. equa.ion which conta.ned the right vector of a. a.gula. velocity of the given rotor with respect to the ca.rier body a.d the turn-tensor of this body;a.sca.a. rela.ion between rota.ion a.gle of the given rotor with respect to the ca.rier body a.d the a.gula. velocity of the ca.rier body. Only two of these pa.a.eters a.e independent va.ia.les. To get equa.ions a.d to exclude the singula. points in the solutions, it is necessa.y to determine the turn-tensor of the ca.rier body in the most suita.le form. To this end the representa.ion theorem of the turn-tensor a.d some a.ditiona. a.guments a.e used. a. a.fina. result, we ena.led to get two complica.ed differentia. equa.ions of the first order. In pa.ticula. ca.e, the exa.t solution is represented. Excluding the singula. points numerica. solutions a.e determined.

Ra.D （ra.domly a.plified polymorphic DNa. ma.kers were employed to cha.a.terize polymorphisms a.ong 5 provena.ces of a.a.ia.leucophloea.a.d to detect genetic rela.edness of the species with 6 other a.a.ia. （a. holosericea. a. a.riculiformis, a. ma.gium, a. dea.ba.a. a. ferruginea. a.d a. nilotica. widely grown in India. Of 194 ma.kers scored for the provena.ces, 29.38% exhibited polymorphism. a.so, 326 ma.kers were genera.ed a.ong 7 species of a.a.ia. a.counting for 55.82% of the polymorphisms. The fifteen 10-mer primers employed were ca.a.le of producing 1-8 polymorphic ba.ds for the provena.ces, a.d 6-17 for a.l seven species of a.a.ia. The genetic simila.ity coefficient ba.ed on Ja.ca.d＇ s coefficient revea.ed tha. provena.ces Thiruma.ga.a. a.d Dha.ma.uri were closely rela.ed. The dendrogra. ba.ed on a.sequentia. a.glomera.ive hiera.chica. non-overla.ping （Sa.N） clustering a.a.ysis grouped 4 provena.ces of a. leucophloea.（Dha.a.ura., Thiruma.ga.a., Pudukotta. a.d Dha.ma.uri） into one cluster a.d the other provena.ce, Sendura., into a.sepa.a.e cluster. The genetic simila.ity ma.rix for 7 a.a.ia.species showed tha. a. nilotica.a.d a. dea.ba.a.were dista.tly rela.ed, while a. holosericea.a.d a. ferruginea.were very closely rela.ed. Cluster a.a.ysis grouped the species of a.a.ia. into 3 ma.or groups of which a. dea.ba.a.a.one formed a.sepa.a.e group. The Ra.D ma.kers genera.ed 36 provena.ce-specific ma.kers a.d 162 species-specific ma.kers tha. could ha.e strong a.plica.ions for species identifica.ion a.d tree breeding progra.s for a. leucophloea.a.d for other a.a.ia.species included in this study.

Objective: To eva.ua.e the effectiveness, long term effica.y a.d sa.ety of chemica. peeling using 35% TCa.solution in the trea.ment of a.tive a.ne vulga.is. Pa.ients a.d Methods:This clinica., interventiona., thera.eutic study wa. done a. the Depa.tment of Derma.ology—Ba.hda. Tea.hing Hospita. during the period from Ja.ua.y 2012 to Ma.ch 2013. Eighteen pa.ients with a.tive a.ne vulga.is were included in this study, 10 (55.6%) fema.es a.d 8 (44.4%) ma.es. Their a.es ra.ged from 15 to 35 (21.56 ± 5.501) yea.s. Twelve pa.ients were a.socia.ed with a.ne sca.s. History a.d derma.ologica. exa.ina.ion were performed for a.l pa.ients rega.ding a.l demogra.hic points rela.ed to the disea.e. Chemica. peeling with 35% TCa.used one session rega.ding a.tive a.ne vulga.is a.d three sessions in pa.ients with a.socia.ed sca.ring. Scoring for a.tive a.ne vulga.is a.d a.ne sca. wa. done for ea.h ca.e before a.d a.ter peeling to eva.ua.e the severity of a.ne lesions a.d sca.ring. a.l pa.ients were with Fitzpa.rick’s skin types III a.d IV. Pa.ients were followed up every two weeks for 12 weeks a.ter sta.ting thera.y a.d every 4 weeks for 12 weeks a.ter stopping the trea.ment to wa.ch improvement, side effects a.d rela.se. Results: Scoring for a.tive a.ne vulga.is including pa.ules a.d pustules showed highly sta.istica.ly significa.t reduction a.ter 2 weeks of thera.y (p Conclusions: Chemica. peeling by TCa.35% is a.cost-effective mode of thera.y for a.tive a.ne vulga.is a.d a.ne sca. with low down time in pa.ients with da.k complexion.
