Ground Passive Microwave Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Profiles Using WRF Simulations and Machine Learning Techniques

Microwave radiometer(MWR) demonstrates exceptional efficacy in monitoring the atmospheric temperature and humidity profiles.A typical inversion algorithm for MWR involves the use of radiosonde measurements as the training ***,this is challenging due to limitations in the temporal and spatial resolution of available sounding data,which often results in a lack of coincident data with MWR deployment *** study proposes an alternative approach to overcome these limitations by harnessing the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) model's renowned simulation capabilities,which offer high temporal and spatial *** using WRF simulations that collocate with the MWR deployment location as a substitute for radiosonde measurements or reanalysis data,our study effectively mitigates the limitations associated with mismatching of MWR measurements and the sites,which enables reliable MWR retrieval in diverse geographical *** machine learning(ML) algorithms including extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),random forest(RF),light gradient boosting machine(LightGBM),extra trees(ET),and backpropagation neural network(BPNN) are tested by using WRF simulations,among which BPNN appears as the most superior,achieving an accuracy with a root-mean-square error(RMSE) of 2.05 K for temperature,0.67 g m~(-3) for water vapor density(WVD),and 13.98% for relative humidity(RH).Comparisons of temperature,RH,and WVD retrievals between our algorithm and the sounding-trained(RAD) algorithm indicate that our algorithm remarkably outperforms the *** study verifies the feasibility of utilizing WRF simulations for developing MWR inversion algorithms,thus opening up new possibilities for MWR deployment and airborne observations in global locations.

目的分析刺络拔罐联合加巴喷丁治疗带状疱疹后神经痛(Postherpetic Neuralgia,PHN)的疗效。方法随机选取2021年8月—2023年8月于北京市第二医院就诊的60例PHN患者为研究对象,采用随机数表法均分为对照组和研究组,各30例。对照组口服加巴喷丁胶囊,研究组采用加巴喷丁胶囊联合三棱针点刺放血拔罐治疗。比较两组治疗前后疼痛视觉模拟评分(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)及简版麦吉尔疼痛问卷-2(Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire-2,SF-MPQ2)、ID疼痛量表、临床疗效及不良反应发生率。结果治疗后,研究组VAS、ID疼痛量表、SF-MPQ2疼痛评分均低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均0.05)。结论采用刺络拔罐联合加巴喷丁治疗PHN疗效显著,治愈率高,疼痛明显减轻,且具较高安全性。

Analysis of heat transfer of loop heat pipe used to cool high power LED

A novel loop heat pipe (LHP) cooling device for high power LED is developed. The thermal capabilities, including startup performance, temperature uniformity and thermal resistance of the loop heat pipe under different heat loads and incline angles have been investigated experimentally. The obtained results indicate that the thermal resistance of the heat pipe heat sink is in the range of 0.19–3.1 K/W, the temperature uniformity in the evaporator is controlled within 1.5°C, and the junction temperature of high power LED can be controlled steadily under 100°C for a heat load of 100 W.

Natural plants and Chinese herbal medicines are valuable *** is one of the new tasks for medical workers to study the new application fields of these *** this work,one kind of traditional Chinese herbal plant,Alisma,was chosen as a carbon source to synthesize the carbon dots(CDs).This kind of CDs has an amorphous carbon structure and shows strong stability to time,temperature,and ion *** results show that the degradation efficiency of malachite green dye can reach 100%in 4.5 h without illumination,and the degradation efficiency is better than that in dark *** addition,the CDs have also been successfully applied to HeLa cell *** synthesis method,stable properties,good photodegradation and bioimaging applications make this material of great application value.

Chinese Clinical Named Entity Recognition Using Multi-Feature Fusion and Multi-Scale Local Context Enhancement

Chinese Clinical Named Entity Recognition(CNER)is a crucial step in extracting medical information and is of great significance in promoting medical ***,CNER poses challenges due to the specificity of clinical terminology,the complexity of Chinese text semantics,and the uncertainty of Chinese entity *** address these issues,we propose an improved CNER model,which is based on multi-feature fusion and multi-scale local context *** model simultaneously fuses multi-feature representations of pinyin,radical,Part of Speech(POS),word boundary with BERT deep contextual representations to enhance the semantic representation of text for more effective entity ***,to address the model’s limitation of focusing just on global features,we incorporate Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)with various kernel sizes to capture multi-scale local features of the text and enhance the model’s comprehension of the ***,we integrate the obtained global and local features,and employ multi-head attention mechanism(MHA)extraction to enhance the model’s focus on characters associated with medical entities,hence boosting the model’s *** obtained 92.74%,and 87.80%F1 scores on the two CNER benchmark datasets,CCKS2017 and CCKS2019,*** results demonstrate that our model outperforms the latest models in CNER,showcasing its outstanding overall *** can be seen that the CNER model proposed in this study has an important application value in constructing clinical medical knowledge graph and intelligent Q&A system.

Deep learning(DL)is currently revolutionizing peptide drug development due to both computational advances and the substantial recent expansion of digitized biological ***,progress in oligopeptide drug development has been limited,likely due to the lack of suitable datasets and difficulty in identifying informative features to use as inputs for DL ***,we utilized an unsupervised deep learning model to learn a semantic pattern based on the intrinsically disordered regions of~171 known osteogenic ***,oligopeptides were generated from this semantic pattern based on Monte Carlo simulation,followed by in vivo functional characterization.A five amino acid oligopeptide(AIB5P)had strong bone-formation-promoting effects,as determined in multiple mouse models(e.g.,osteoporosis,fracture,and osseointegration of implants).Mechanistically,we showed that AIB5P promotes osteogenesis by binding to the integrinα5 subunit and thereby activating FAK *** summary,we successfully established an oligopeptide discovery strategy based on a DL model and demonstrated its utility from cytological screening to animal experimental verification.

目的探讨文献编译联合报告讨论会在神经外科住院医师规范化培训中的效果。方法选择中国人民解放军总医院神经外科医学部住院医师30人,随机分为文献编译组(A组)、报告讨论会组(B组)和联合组(C组),每组各10人;经过为期半年培训,对三组住院医师进行统一考试,主要衡量理论知识水平、文献分析能力和创新思维能力。结果相比培训前,三组住院医师规范化培训后在理论知识水平、文献分析能力和创新思维能力均有明显提高,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。此外,相比B组,A组和C组在理论知识水平上有明显提高(P<0.05)。而相比A组,B组和C组在创新思维能力上有明显提高(P<0.05)。另外,C组在文献分析能力上明显优于其余两组(P<0.05)。相比B组,A组和C组在提高理论知识水平上给出更高的评价(P<0.05)。而相比A组,B组和C组在培养创新思维能力上给出更高的评价(P<0.05)。C组在教学方式满意度和培养文献分析能力等方面的评价明显好于其余两组(P<0.05)。结论文献编译联合报告讨论会在神经外科住院医师规范化培训中效果显著,可有效提高住院医师理论知识水平、文献分析能力和创新思维能力,值得推广。
