BACKGROUND Patients with resectable gastric adenocarcinoma accompanied by vascular cancer thrombus(RGAVCT)have a poor prognosis,with a 5-year survival rate ranging from 18.42%-53.57%.These patients need a reasonable postoperative treatment plan to improve their *** To determine the most effective postoperative chemotherapy regimen for patients with *** We retrospectively collected the clinicopathological data of 530 patients who un-derwent radical resection for gastric cancer between January 2017 and January 2022 and who were pathologically diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma with a choroidal cancer ***-thermore,we identified the high-risk variables that can influence the prognosis of patients with RGAVCT by asse-ssing the clinical and pathological features of the patients who met the inclusion *** also assessed the significance of survival outcomes using Mantel-Cox univariate and multivariate *** subgroups of pa-tients with stages Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ disease who received single-,dual-,or triple-drug regimens following surgery were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and the ggplot2 package in R *** In all,530 eligible individuals with RGAVCT were enrolled in this *** median overall survival(OS)of patients with RGAVCT was 24 months,and the survival rates were 80.2%,62.5%,and 42.3%at 12,24,and 59 months,*** complications,tumor size,T stage,and postoperative chemotherapy were identified as independent factors that influenced OS in patients with RGAVCT according to the Cox multivariate analysis model.A Kaplan-meier analysis revealed that chemotherapy had no effect on OS of patients with stage Ⅰ or Ⅱ RGAVCT;however,chemotherapy did have an effect on OS of stage Ⅲ *** Ⅲ patients who were treated with chemotherapy consisting of dual-or triple-agent regimens had better survival than those treated with single-agent regimens,and no significant difference was observed in the survival of patients treat

Towards imbalanced motion:part-decoupling network for video portrait segmentation

Video portrait segmentation(VPS), aiming at segmenting prominent foreground portraits from video frames, has received much attention in recent years. However, the simplicity of existing VPS datasets leads to a limitation on extensive research of the task. In this work, we propose a new intricate large-scale multi-scene video portrait segmentation dataset MVPS consisting of 101 video clips in 7 scenario categories,in which 10843 sampled frames are finely annotated at the pixel level. The dataset has diverse scenes and complicated background environments, which is the most complex dataset in VPS to our best *** the observation of a large number of videos with portraits during dataset construction, we find that due to the joint structure of the human body, the motion of portraits is part-associated, which leads to the different parts being relatively independent in motion. That is, the motion of different parts of the portraits is imbalanced. Towards this imbalance, an intuitive and reasonable idea is that different motion states in portraits can be better exploited by decoupling the portraits into parts. To achieve this, we propose a part-decoupling network(PDNet) for VPS. Specifically, an inter-frame part-discriminated attention(IPDA)module is proposed which unsupervisedly segments portrait into parts and utilizes different attentiveness on discriminative features specified to each different part. In this way, appropriate attention can be imposed on portrait parts with imbalanced motion to extract part-discriminated correlations, so that the portraits can be segmented more accurately. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves leading performance with the comparison to state-of-the-art methods.

Reliability analysis of carbon fiber rod-reinforced umbilical cable under tension using an improved sampling method

The umbilical cable is a vital component of subsea production systems that provide power, chemical agents, control signals et al., and its requirement for reliability is exceedingly high. However, as the umbilical cable is a composite structure comprising multiple functional units, the reliability analysis of such cables involves numerous parameters that can impact calculation efficiency. In this paper, the reliability analysis of a new kind of umbilical cable with carbon fiber rod under tension is analyzed. The global dynamic analytical model is first established to determine the maximum tension load, then the local analytical model of umbilical cable including each unit are constructed by finite element method(FEM). Based on the mechanical analytical model, the reliability of umbilical cable under tension load is studied using response surface method(RSM) and Monte Carlo method. During the calculation process, a new tangent plane sampling method to calculate the response surface function(RSF) is proposed in this paper, which could make sampling points faster come close to the RSF curve, and it is proved that the calculation efficiency increases about 33% comparing with traditional method.

MG132 Induced Apoptosis Pathway in HL-60 Cells and Impact of Allogeneic Mixed Lymphocyte Reaction

Objective： To investigate the proteasome inhibitor MG132-induced apoptosis pathway in HL-60 cells and the role of allogeneic mixed lymphocyte reaction. Methods： Cell apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry. The expressions of p21 protein, p27 protein and p53 protein in HL-60 ceils treated with MG132 were measured by Western blot. The proliferation of, peripheral blood mononuclear cells （PBMNCs） after treatment with 75 Gy irradiated HL-60 cells treated with MG132 was measured with CCK-8. Results： High-dose MG132 induced apoptosis in HL-60 cells. No significant change was observed in MG132-induced apoptosis after inhibiting caspase-8 and caspase-9 pathway. The expressions of p21 protein and p27 protein increased in MG132-induced apoptosis. HL-60 cells treated with low-dose MG132 improved the proliferation of PBMNCs from healthy volunteers. Conclusion： High-dose MG132 induced apoptosis and directly killed HL-60 ceils. MG132 induced apoptosis in a caspase-8- and caspase-9-independent pathway, p21 protein and p27 protein were involved in MG132-induced apoptosis in HL-60 cells. HL-60 cells treated with Low-dose MG132 improved the effect of promoting the proliferation of PBMNCs from healthy volunteers.

The pulsar timing array(PTA)collaborations have recently reported compelling evidence for a stochastic signal consistent with a gravitational-wave *** this paper,we combine the latest data sets from NANOGrav,PPTA,and EPTA to explore cosmological interpretations for the PTA signal from first-order phase transitions,domain walls,and cosmic strings,*** find that the domain wall model is strongly disfavored with the Bayes factors compared with the first-order phase transitions and cosmic strings being 1/90 and 1/189,respectively,breaking the degeneracy among these models in individual data *** also find that:(1)a strong phase transition at temperatures below the electroweak scale is favored,and the bubble collisions make the dominant contribution to the energy density spectrum;(2)a small reconnection probability p<1.55×10^(-1)allowed by strings in(super)string theory is favored at the 95%confidence level,and ground-based detectors can further constrain the parameter space.

Ultrasound assisted electrocatalytic oxidation of 3-chlorophenol in aqueous solution

Ultrasound assisted electrocatalytic process was used for enhancing decomposition efficiency of organic compounds. In this paper, the effect of ultrasonic frequency, ultrasonic intensity and pH value on 3-chlorophenol decomposition were studied. It was found that 3-chlorophenol in aqueous solution can be markedly decomposed by ultrasound assisted electrocatalytic process. The rate of decomposition increased with the increase of frequency, and low frequency is proper in the ultrasound assisted electrocatalytic system. The removal of 3-chlorophenol increased visibly with the increase of ultrasonic intensity until the intensity of 1.56 W/cm2. Alkaline condition is beneficial to 3-chlorophenol decomposition, the rate at pH 9.08 was higher than pH 2.48 and 6.85. The major intermediate formed during 3-chlorophenol decomposition was 2-chloro-pbenzoquinone, which was readily decomposed by ultrasound assisted electrocatalytic process.

Surface modification of graphite anode with electroactive matters has been proven of a more practical strategy in enhancing the performance of Li-ion batteries than exploring alternative novel anode ***,rutile TiNbO_(4-x) nanoparticles with a tunnel structure are employed as multifunctional decoration substances in combination with a carbon coating layer to improve the rate and cycle properties of mesocarbon microbeads(MCMBs).As compared to pristine MCMB,the Li^(+)diffusion coefficients of the composite anodes are enhanced due to the synergistic effect of TiNbO_(4-x)@***,the overcharge and voltage polarization of the composite anodes at high rate are obviously minimized due to the current sharing effect of the high-potential TiNbO_(4-x).Moreover,the amorphous Li_(y)TiNbO_(4-x) converted from TiNbO_(4-x) in the initial lithiation process can deliver pseudocapacitive capacity to the composite anodes from the second *** of these functions of TiNbO_(4-x)@Ccoating layer have directly contributed to the improved rate and cycle performance of the MCMB/TiNbO_(4-x)@C composite *** one containing 12.0 wt%TiNbO_(4-x) exhibits a high reversible specific capacity of 118 m Ah·g^(-1)at 10C(1C=372 m A·g^(-1)),together with a high capacity retention of 90.9%after 300 cycles at 3C,which are all much superior to those of pristine MCMB.

Ginsenoside Rd Induces Differentiation of Myeloid Leukemia Cells via Regulating ERK/GSK-3βSignaling Pathway
